Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin in the woods. This is the perfect place to “getaway from it all”. This cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms as well as a screened in porches overlooking a private lake. This 46 acre property has beautiful hiking trails, abundant wildlife watching opportunities, and lake for fishing or canoeing so guests can really enjoy the great outdoors! It's located just minutes off I-65 in Jemison, Alabama (Chilton County) centrally located between Birmingham and Montgomery.

The property is gated. The driveway is 7/10ths of a mile long, up and down hills, and around winding curves. The road is gravel and STEEP IN AREAS. No extremely lowered/modified cars/trucks.(4x4 OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE IS PREFERRED. IF YOU ARE PULLING A TRAILER, YOU WILL DEFINITELY NEED 4X4 OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE). The Cabin has 3 bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The master has a queen bed with attached bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms have full size beds. One bathroom is situated between these bedrooms. The other bathroom is near an exterior exit/laundry room. Additionally, one bedroom also has bunk beds for kids.

The cabin was very roomy and comfortable. It provided a perfect location for our family Christmas getaway. The kitchen was well equipped. The driveway is a bit tricky, but the location is worth the effort. Drake was easy to communicate with and quick to respond.

Its a great place for a relaxing vacation. Very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Weather was beautiful so we spent most days outside and evenings by the fire. We have relatives in the area that came to visit. We all caught several fish. Drake was an excellent host. We will be back next year!

Relaxing weekend before school started back

Loved this place. So peaceful, the lake and property is gorgeous. Plenty if room and very comfortable amities. Would definitely recommend and will book this lovely lake house again!

Amazing Place

This place is as advertised. Nice and quiet, awesome cabin, beautiful lake and property. Perfect place to go for some R&R. If you plane to cook bring some measuring cups/spoons and some sponges or brushes to wash some dishes off (I had my big cast iron pan and there was nothing to wash it with), but those things are super minor. Just a one if you plan to stay a while. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Awesome Vacation Place

This place was awesome for our family! Beautiful pond off back porch. The house was decorated very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the home was very tidy.If you’re looking for a very peaceful place to just chill out and relax this would be it! Kitchen was stocked up with everything you would need. The only thing we couldn’t find was a toaster. But we used the stove. I would absolutely recommend staying there and we will most likely be coming back! Awesome communication with the owner. Thanks

Great stay!

We had to come to town for a graduation. Loved this property! After being in crowds or at parties for the majority of the day, it was a nice, serene place to return to. Nature is prevalent here. Enjoy your surroundings or sit on the covered porch with a book. Great for what we needed. I also mentioned to the host that my future husband loved to fish. He brought by a pole and tackle for him to fish the pond. A lovely gesture.

Unfortunately we only got to stay one night but the place is nice and roomy, and the setting is just beautiful on the lake. Wish we had more time!

Friend's getaway

We plan a girls trip every year. This was a perfect place for it. Enjoyed hiking and sitting around the camp fire. The house porches were very spacious and the scenery was gorgeous. Our favorite was the little grass island in the middle of the lake. We went out everyday to enjoy the sun and play games. We try somewhere different every year but would definitely go back here again. out every day and

Secluded cabin

We celebrated Thanksgiving with our son, his GF, and our GD and her family in this spacious 3BR, 3 Bath, lakeside cabin in the AL hills north of Montgomery/South of Birmingham. It was perfect for a small group and the host was responsive and accommodating. Checkin/out was easy.

There aren't enough words to describe how amazingly wonderful this lake cabin actually is, it's a piece of heaven! This is a cabin by a beautiful lake that you can getaway with the kids or enjoy a quite weekend for yourselves. I loved everything about this place! I highly recommend for anyone visiting town or who is looking for a peaceful place to stay. The owners were exceptional and made everything very easy from start to finish. Do not over look this peaceful paradise!! :)

Slice of heaven

I am a nursing student so I wanted a place with water that I could also get some school work done and this place did not disappoint. It was the most peaceful, beautiful place ever I did not want to leave. From the gorgeous house with 2 screened in porches, to the beautiful swings all over the place, to the amazing pond that was clean enough to swim in but also catch some fish. I cannot wait to vacation here again! 10/10
