Location was excellent home was perfect and roomy for the 5 of us couch was super comfortable for evening relaxation. Washer dryer on site made it very nice to be able to wash laundry. The Beach was Beautiful and very close walking distance golf course was also a great activity we enjoyed I would recommend more cleaning supplies in house so guest could pick up during stays also kitchen cupboards/ drawers didn’t seem to have everything organized or veryclean maybe a little more detail to those areas Overall it was a great stay!

We loved our stay at this 3 bedroom property in Kahuku! The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, just around the bend of the golf course. The house was pleasant. Easy check-in, plenty of towels, nice big couch for the family, and the amenities matched up to the description. The host was kind and responded very fast.

The house was clean, air conditioning was good. There was a drawer that is very loosely screwed, and one of the bathroom doors is a bit stiff and doesn’t close.

Perfect place for peace and quiet next to the beach. We had an awesome time at this beautiful accommodation. It was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the beach, shops, grocery stores and restaurants. The location was perfect for us. Looking forward to renting this home again as soon as we can get back!

Booked almost 6 months in advance, immediately after booking the host reached out to tell me the location of the condo is not as it is posted. Location of condo is actually in a different bay completely different than location listed (turtle bay). Host was very pushy to get us to change our listing based of location miscommunication, but was no refundable. Also it was listed as fully stocked for shampoo/conditioner/ TP and body wash and pack n play , unfortunately That was not the case. Host communication was good about bringing things that we requested once we noticed they weren’t there. Host was nice, house was nice.

The location is not as advertised, it was hard to find the house, especially at night. The address provided in Vrbo did not match the address provided by host.The linens were old and rough, bathrooms not stocked with enough towels or toilet paper. The kitchen items old and not clean/organized.My family did not feel at home, two preferred to sleep on the couch. The host did respond when we where lost and did repair broken kitchen faucet same day when we reported it.The location and condition of house explains the great price for the rental, you get what you pay for.

Good house in Kahuku

The house served our needs for our week in Hawaii. After I reserved, the owner messaged that it's in Kahuku, which I had already learned from reviews, but it means the listing is inaccurate on that point.

The kitchen was equipped with what we need to prepare meals. But honestly the price of food in Hawaii is pretty expensive so I don’t think we saved much money eating in.The property is a 15 minute walk to over a dozen food trucks, an ice cream shop, brewery and few other restaurants. If we come back to the north shore I’ll just plan on dinner out.The property is across the street from local 9 hole golf course, so the walk to the beach is 5-10 minutes. But WOW, what an amazing beach. I probably only saw a dozen people at the beach. The waves on the north shore are strong, but we were able to explore the tide pools and saw lots of sea life.This was my first time staying in a rental property on Hawaii. All of my previous trips were hotels or resort condos, so when I saw the property had air conditioning, I assumed central air and not 2 portable units.I’ve since looked at other listings and this appears to be the norm.I love the location because it is not crowded like Waikīkī, but if I come again I might spend a day or two on the south side since most tours leave from Waikīkī.

What we loved- a 7 min walk to the beach. It was like having our own private beach! Barely a person in sight. Family friendly for older kids (7). The yard on the property was wonderful- open grass area that was fenced in for the kids. Great sunset views. And a nice wrap around porch to relax. The inside of the property had a nice floor plan and good for family time. Wonderful large dining table. What could’ve made the stay even better would be a few more amenities such as towels/ beach towels and kitchenware (additional plates and bowls). The location should be updated to kahuku (not turtle bay) which was actually better for us vs turtle bay since we were happy to be away from the crowds but we were a quick drive to turtle bay or to the PCC. We had a wonderful stay.

Loved the North Shore location!

Host responded quickly to all questions. 10 min drive to Turtle Bay, where we attended a wedding and events. The beach at Turtle Bay is open to the public, which we found very desirable on windy days. Public parking with good signage and lots of available parking spaces

The location is absolutely amazing. The yard is huge. The fruits in the yard are absolutely amazing. The parking is amazing everything there is ideal as far as location space everything absolutely everything. However, when you’re renting your home, you need to make sure that there are some safety issues taken care of the biggest concern that I had was there were five loose boards on the deck that wraps around the home those boards need to be lifted and replaced as soon as possible. The next issue of concern was the patio furniture. There were four chairs out front. Two of the chairs were not suited to hold anyone they were tilted. They were falling apart, literally falling apart on the other two chairs held our way well, but there was clear signs of aging a hole and had someone clock down in the chair it might’ve given away. The next issue is ants. There was a situation with ants little piss ants in the house. The house basically needs some new bedding in the master bedroom and it needs some new furniture on the patio it also needs some new boards on the patio and that’s about it.

Beautiful and pleasant

Nice house and property, close to the beach and polynesian cultural center. The beach is less crowded and is beautiful. We had a comfortable and a pleasant stay here at this house. Owner is very friendly and responds to any questions/ concerns immediately.
