The Space:

Welcome to The Gathering Main House - a beautiful 12-acre Hill Country retreat made for the moments that matter most. Experience this custom home with resort-style amenities, wide-open gathering spaces, and room to truly unwind. Minutes from Wimberley Square, you’ll find soaring ceilings, a grand stone fireplace, a chef-ready kitchen, and outdoor fun for every age - from the sparkling pool and hot tub to pickleball, the Party Barn, fire pits, and a stargazing deck under some of the darkest skies in Texas.



This isn’t just a place to stay. It’s where everyone finally gets to be together.



The Main House features 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and thoughtful touches throughout. Every bedroom has streaming TVs, and room-darkening shades for deep sleep after big days. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, plush white towels, and a hair dryer.

Ground level:

- Bedroom 1: King bed + Pullout Double Bed Sleeper Sofa. En suite bathroom w/double vanity & walk-in shower. (Sleeps 4)

- Bedroom 2: King Bed. Wheelchair accessible - vanity, toilet separated by long curtains for privacy and ease, roll-in shower, exterior door ramps, accessible storage unit. Wheelchair & Shower Chair available by request. (Sleeps 2)

- Powder room downstairs off the main living area (1/2 bath).

Stargazing Deck: The Gathering sits in Wimberley’s certified Dark Sky Community, which means you’ll see constellations, satellites, and the Milky Way with rare clarity... brighter, closer, and more breathtaking than most people remember.

Our stargazing deck was built for exactly this: Space to relax, look up and feel small in the best way possible. Bring a blanket. Bring your people. Bring your wish. And watch as something beautiful unfolds.



Custom murals: The perfect photo backdrop - "Texas Pride" shows off deer, bluebonnets, Texas flag, and a beautiful hill country sunset. "Winged Magic" is a floral butterfly-wing design, surrounded by flowers and bees. The bees serve as a tribute to the hives managed on the property’s back pasture.



THE OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

Start the morning on the Texas-sized porch with coffee and deer in the distance. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the pool, playing pickleball, hanging at the party barn, or exploring Wimberley. Then come back for dinner, a soak in the hot tub, and s’mores by the fire. And when the sun goes down, the sky takes over. The stargazing deck is a guest favorite for a reason - it’s quiet, dark, and absolutely unforgettable.



Guest Access:

You’ll enter through a private gate (code provided with check-in instructions). As you drive in, you’ll pass the Cottage, which is booked separately. (Shared amenity access is limited to pickleball court and disc golf course, or you can book the entire property for exclusive use.)



As you continue down the drive, you’ll pass the pickleball court with shaded viewing area, disc golf baskets, and often a few deer or turkeys near the feeder. Farther down, you’ll reach the Party Barn - a hub for fun for kids and adults alike.



The Main House is to the left of the Party Barn, with plenty of parking.



If your group needs a place that feels special - not just “big enough” - you’ve found it.



The Neighborhood:

The Main House and Cottage are about 1/4 mile from each other. There are mature trees, a large field (for disc golf) and the pickleball court between each home. This helps ensure guests at both homes have plenty of privacy!



Getting Around:

The Gathering is the epitome of luxury, relaxation, and entertainment. You might find it difficult to leave, and with all it has to offer, who could blame you? But should you choose to explore, Wimberley and the surrounding areas have a world of delights to offer. Savor delectable dishes at local restaurants, explore unique shops, and discover attractions like Jacob's Well, Blue Hole Regional Park, wineries, breweries, and a variety of fun activities and events. Just 20 minutes away, Canyon Lake beckons with boat and jet ski rentals, or enjoy live music concerts at Whitewater Amphitheater. Venture further to New Braunfels and Gruene for fabulous dining and live music. Spend a day tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River. Families and children will adore Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. For shopping enthusiasts, the San Marcos Outlet awaits with over 240 shops for a day of endless retail therapy.
