The Gathering Main House is a private 12-acre retreat perfect for family gatherings, retreats or couples getaways up to 16 guests. This sanctuary is designed to whisk you away on an unforgettable vacation like no other! Located just minutes from Wimberley Square, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. This 4700 sq ft home, surrounded by majestic oak trees and sweeping hill country vistas, awaits your arrival. It's a haven designed to create cherished memories that will linger for a lifetime.

The Space:
This 12-acre retreat features a 4,700 sq ft luxe custom home with 5 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths and central heat/air. All bedrooms have room darkening shades over the windows. All bathrooms are stocked with shower products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), plush white towels, hair dryer and make-up mirror.

MAIN HOUSE BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
Ground level:
- Bedroom 1: King bed and Pullout Double Bed Sleeper Sofa. Sleeps 4. En suite bathroom w/double vanity & walk-in shower.
- Bedroom 2: King Bed. Sleeps 2. Bathroom facilities (vanity and wheelchair accessible toilet and shower with chair) are inside this bedroom, separated by long curtains for privacy and ease).
- Powder room downstairs (1/2 bath).

Second floor:
- Bedroom 3: King bed and Day Twin Bed with Twin Trundle. Sleeps 4
- Bedroom 4: Queen bed. Sleeps 2
- Bedroom 5: 2 Twin Beds and Day Twin Bed with Twin Trundle. Sleeps 4
- Bathroom 4: Hollywood style bath, attached to bedroom 5, as well as upstairs hallway entrance, 2 toilets, 2 vanities, shower/tub combo

Challenge your group to games of bocce ball, cornhole, disc golf, or washer toss. Then, as the day winds down, gather under the covered cedar pavilion for snacks, drinks, and quality time. End your day on a sweet note around the fire pit, toasting s'mores as the sky graces you with the magical hues of hill country sunsets.

The Gathering's Stargazing Stage is a dedicated space where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the heavens. Guest Access:
As you enter through the private gate (code provided in check-in info), you'll pass by the Cottage (which could be booked by other guests). The Cottage does not have access to the pool, hot tub, dinking court, or grill unless the whole property is rented.

As you continue down the drive, you'll come upon the pickleball court with shaded viewing area. Disc golf enthusiasts will spot baskets, and you might catch a herd of deer or turkeys at the feeder. Continue down the road until you reach the Party Barn, a hub of entertainment with basketball, ping pong, pickleball dinking court, and a medley of outdoor activities suitable for kids and adults alike.

The moment you step inside the main house, you know you have entered a place where comfort and luxury merge seamlessly. Specifically designed to bring family, friends, and large groups together, it still offers plenty of intimate gathering spots for cozy conversation. High-end furnishings and lavish touches pamper you at every turn, ensuring your stay is nothing short of extraordinary. Sink into plush seating in a living space adorned with soaring ceilings, a grand stone fireplace, and an 85" TV, perfect for game day or movie night. The chef's kitchen, fully equipped with gourmet appliances, inspires culinary adventures, while the wood dining table invites memorable feasts where the entire group can gather together. More magic happens outside, as you whip up some mouthwatering BBQ on the gas grill. Convenience is key with a large ice machine just outside.

The Neighborhood:
The Main House and Cottage are about 1/4 mile from each other. There are mature trees, a large field (for disc golf) and the pickleball court between each home. This helps ensure guests at both homes have plenty of privacy!

Getting Around:
The Gathering is the epitome of luxury, relaxation, and entertainment. You might find it difficult to leave, and with all it has to offer, who could blame you? But should you choose to explore, Wimberley and the surrounding areas have a world of delights to offer. Savor delectable dishes at local restaurants, explore unique shops, and discover attractions like Jacob's Well, Blue Hole Regional Park, wineries, breweries, and a variety of fun activities and events. Just 20 minutes away, Canyon Lake beckons with boat and jet ski rentals, or enjoy live music concerts at Whitewater Amphitheater. Venture further to New Braunfels and Gruene for fabulous dining and live music. Spend a day tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River. Families and children will adore Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. For shopping enthusiasts, the San Marcos Outlet awaits with over 240 shops for a day of endless retail therapy.

Other Things to Note:
- This property may have other guests on the property (at the Cottage) at the time of your stay. The pickle ball court is shared between the Main House and Cottage. The Cottage does not have access to the pool, hot tub, dinking court, or grill unless the whole property is rented.

- Bikes are not provided. Please bring your own. Golf carts or ATVs are not allowed.

- The home is on well water.

- Pre-arrival form & rental agreement: we do ask for a copy of your ID as part of our guest screening process after the reservation is confirmed. You will also be asked to sign a rental agreement. Main renter must be over 25 years old.

- For liability and security purposes, there are external on the main house facing the party barn and on the outdoor gazebo facing the pool. The cottage has cameras facing the front walk way. There are NO inside cameras. Hosts may monitor external cameras at any time via a smartphone app, and cameras are not to be tampered with or covered.

- When you stay with HOSTIE Vacation Rentals, you are covered for any accidents that might happen up to $5000 with the added fee of $79 in your total. Coverage details are spelled out in your rental agreement. This is applied to all bookings.

- Spa Usage and Maintenance Fee:
Our property features an above-ground spa for your relaxation and enjoyment. To ensure it remains clean and safe for all guests, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines:
*Proper Use: Please follow all provided instructions for spa use. Avoid using any oils, lotions, or other substances that may contaminate the water.
*Hygiene: Shower before using the spa to help maintain water quality.
*Drainage Fee: If the spa requires draining and refilling due to improper use or excessive contamination during your stay, a maintenance fee of [150] will be charged.
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the spa in excellent condition for everyone.
