¡Debes tener 25 años para alquilar esta casa! Esta hermosa casa en nuestra línea de alquiler es un dúplex de 5 dormitorios y 4 baños, amueblado en 2009. Al entrar por la puerta principal, notará el primer dormitorio con una cama queen, TV de pantalla plana y reproductor de DVD. Luego, viajará a la cocina con las relucientes encimeras de granito negro y la gama plana superior, el microondas y una ventaja adicional, una máquina de hielo adicional debajo de la barra de desayuno. Hay baldosas en todas partes, asientos para 12 durante la hora de la comida, y 1 sofá grande y 2 sillas para relajarse y ver películas en la gran pantalla plana en la sala de estar. Desde el balcón cubierto con mosquitero en el primer piso puedes ver una increíble puesta de sol o simplemente tener un día de descanso escuchando las olas. Refrig had a broken storage bind and the upstair bath ab0ve the main floor bedroom was not hooked up to over flow so we had a leak below but was quickly handled by maintenance. Close to beach and AC in home was amazing.

A little disappointed.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First the house wasn't clean. Floor was very dirty. Having 3 little ones under 2 was a concern with crawling on dirty floors. Second the walk to the beach was hard with little ones and us older people.All the steps in the house were hard for older people.

Dean’s Dune Beach Trip 2025

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our growing family had plenty of room here; 9 adults and 2 kids!! We cooked in each evening. There are lots of pots, pans and. utensils in the kitchen. There was plenty of seating at meals for all of us! The guys booked a fishing trip and had a blast. Although it was no issue for us, the stairs are not for the faint of heart! The screened in porch was great for gathering for card games etc in the evenings. Maintenance/cleaning needs improvement. The beds need new sheets and pillows. One bed had no pillows and the extras had stains. On another, the fitted sheets kept coming off and the mattress covers were not clean. Sunset Properties answered and advised us promptly on any inquiries. Grills on property would be a definite good addition. The owners next door allowed us to borrow theirs. Overall we had a great stay.

Annual Family Trip/Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived the Air Conditioners we not working downstairs. The Management company sent over their service. (Very nice man) He could not fix it so we had to wait on another company to come fix it and they did. The home was dirty. There were cobwebs in the Master bedroom lamp and the bedspread was so dirty we did not use it. The air vents (especially in the kitchen) were so dirty. The home has carpet throughout (not great when close to the beach.) There was no soap, shampoo and only 2 towels in each bathroom (paper thin) and when I called Sunset, their comment was "This is not a hotel, just wash the towels" All this aside, the home was spacious, very close to a nice beach and super neighbors (owners) Loved the gated community and Tacky Jacks across the street. Great Marina and I would suggest fishing from there.

Cynthia, I apologize about the issues you had while staying at Dean's Dunes. Unfortunately, during the busy summer season, housekeeping can only take care of the immediate cleaning that needs to be done for the next guest checking in, which, during the summer, it is usually the same day. We have a large turn around rate on our houses and not everything gets done. The issues you mentioned, cobwebs and dirty vents, get taken care of in the off season when our properties receive deep cleans. We do ask housekeeping to be diligent and take care of issues such as these if they are not pressed for time. As stated in our contract, we do not supply shampoo and we only supply enough towels for the number of guests in each property, and it is suggested that you may want to bring extra if you do not want to do laundry. I do hope you will come back down and stay with us again and get in some more fishing time!

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this house for the last 8 years and have never really had any problems but this year was not as the last few years! I understand that it was a holiday weekend but after being in the house for 10 minutes our feet were black on the bottom, I can understand sand on the floor but the floors were not cleaned and the countertops were sticky and dirty also. Going up the stairs there was vomit on the carpet and baseboard and wall!! The vacuum was not run on the stairs or for that matter not on any of the carpets! In one of the bathrooms we found a towel stuffed behind the toilet with yellow stains on it, so apparently that bathroom wasn’t cleaned! For what I paid for the cleaning cost was not worth the money!! We located a sweeper and ran it ourselves and cleaned the rest of the house ourselves before we could enjoy our vacation!! I notified the property management Sunday morning at 8:20 to let them know about the cleaning and vomit and also about the ice maker not working, they replied back and said that they wound send the cleaning crew back out but we had already cleaned so we didn’t need them to come back, and maintenance never showed up at all the whole time we were there!! So had to go out to buy ice. We also wanted to show them the crack that was in the glass on the kitchen table when the maintenance guy came, but never showed up! We were very disappointed in the house and the company this year! For the cost of the house for the week it should have been much more enjoyable!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The house needs a few repairs and updating, but was generally clean. We would have liked to have had some extra linens as not enough towels were provided for the number of guests the rental can sleep. Some blankets would have been nice as well as the beds only had sheets and the top comforter. The screened porch has a great view of the ocean and was relaxing. This could really be a great rental if the maintenance issues were repaired and the property updated/renovated.

We do let you know about the linens way ahead of time so you can bring extra or know you will need to use the washer and dryer. Won’t Stay Anywhere Else

As a mom with young kids, these are a few things I always look for: the walk to the beach is EASY and minimal traffic, the pool is right next door, and there’s very few people at the beach. We loved it! The rental is super clean and perfect for a big group.

Family Beach Week at Dean's Dunes

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dean's Dunes is in a very good location with easy access to the pool and views of the ocean. Although check-in was slightly delayed by the cleaning staff, it was generally well cleaned. The unit was well-equipped with everything needed for a great vacation. New carpet and baseboard had been installed. However, several maintenance items still need to be performed, including the toilet seat in the master bath was broken and taped together, trim along side the master bath missing with mouldy appearance, broken and dangling screens on the back porch, dangerously loose railing on the front 2nd floor stairs. Decking badly needs replaced or repaired with some broken sections in the back. Very good dining seating, but furniture in family room needs replaced. Overall, a good vacation choice that could be outstanding with improvenents.

Great vacation location

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Fully equipped with pretty much everything we needed; kitchen utensils, wireless speakers, icemaker, dishwasher detergent, great parking, it's very spacious and accommodated my whole family. A short walk to the beach every morning and a short walk to the pool every evening made it even perfect. We plan to return next year.

Reviewer Comments: Location of property was fine if you like a quiet family oriented beach which we did. The house though was not very clean and maintained. Base boards were covered in dust. Toliet in one of the upstairs bath had not been cleaned because there was a deposit in it even though the seat had a paper wrapped around seat. Blinds were broken and hanging in upstairs bedroom. It was a mess under and around the property. An old rusty BBQ pit was abandoned at the bottom of the stairs. I also didn't appreciate having to strip the beds before we left. That should be done by the cleaning service. I think I will do better research before renting with VRBO again.

Matt, so disappointed to see that you weren't satisfied with your stay! The baseboards are a deep clean issue that we typically take care of at the end of our busy season. We like for our guests to call when they have an issue while they are there, and we try our best to resolve it. We only ask that you put the dirty towels in a pile at the washing machine, or in one of the bathrooms, you don't have to strip the linens. A recent lightening storm had knocked the TV's out and they were replacing them when we arrived. They also let us borrow a charcoal grill for one of our evenings from the clubhouse. There were 4 families and a single in our party and we all managed to have plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the short walk to the beach was perfect for coming and going with little ones. Everyone loved the pool as well.

Sunset Properties is the best!

Nice neighborhood area- beautiful view

This house had a neat floor plan and located in an area that had a small neighborhood feel too it. Loved the location the the beach. BUT we were disappointed in the state of the house. Numerous broken chairs in the kitchen and on the deck, dirty when we arrived and extra ice maker broken. A couple of the decks had broken glasses left from who knows when and the doors and locks duct taped shut(I am sure from when a hurricane was last in area) and not to mention a pair of swim trunks left under the deck steps. Thick layers of dust on light fixtures, in corners and the carpet was grungy. It is obvious that a good, thorough cleaning has not been done in quite some times. It is a shame cause this house is really charming. The mosquitos were terrible in the area as well. Despite all that, we had a good time. Just wish the place had been in alot better shape.

Because of this review we have employed a new housekeeping company to care for this home. Unfortunately there is little we can do about the mosquitoes. Nice place...

Reviewer Comments: but it could have been cleaner when we got there (ex: found hair in the bathroom drawers and the outside trash can was overflowing when we checked in). It would have been nice to have more than one kitchen towel and one dish rag. With 10 people in the house, we did a lot of cooking and dish washing. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay. Nice Stay Overall

You couldn't even see outside and the third floor of Dean's Dunes and Chase-N-Daphne (we rented both sides) smelled like mildew or dead fish. Not sure why. Boths houses had that problem on the third floor only. Also, Internet connection kept dropping. Overall we had a wonderful time. Manager responded on 7/2/2013: Thank you for taking the time to review this home and letting us know about the issues you ran into. I will have the cleaners pay special attention to the windows and garbage disposals. Often if you have smell like what you were describing it is the garbage disposal.
