We had a great time at the rental with our family group of 7. The property is lovely and we had the beach almost to ourselves the whole week. We all spent a bunch of time in the screened porch - a great place to relax, eat, or play board games. For the early risers, it was a great place to listen to bird song in the morning and it was very exciting to hear and see a Loon in addition to more common waterbirds. There was plenty of seating areas inside so we could hang out together or spread out as we wished. We cooked almost every meal so we appreciated the kitchen which was very well stocked with cookware and dishes. We took advantage of the fire pit (and provided wood) to toast marshmallows. We also really enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated having access to a washer/dryer. Owner was super responsive when we had some small issues come up during the stay. The cabin was a great base to do other activities in the area and the owner has helpfully provided some suggestions. Things to be aware of - we had some older folks with mobility issues; the bulk of living is in the upstairs and while there is a bed/bath downstairs the bath was challenging to climb in and out of for our family member with knee problems. The lake has seaweed (as lakes do) and my kids didn't want to swim but had fun playing in the sand; in addition to pool access there is a beach in the community that has a roped off swim area that has minimal seaweed.
