La experiencia de vida de la montaña en cualquier época del año Al On The Rocks Retiro

Nuestra casa ofrece suficientes camas para acomodar hasta ocho adultos y tres o cuatro hijos con tres espacios de estar independientes. Dos dormitorios principales y baños en cada extremo de la sala de estar principal ofrecen privacidad y espacio. Cada maestro también tiene su propio acceso a la terraza con vistas al valle. Ambos maestros tienen una cuna de tamaño completo disponible para acomodar a un niño pequeño. Dos dormitorios más y un área de dormir separada con 2 juegos de literas en el nivel inferior tienen fácil acceso a un baño y una ducha en ese nivel y una cómoda sala de estar con TV vía satélite. Una, amplia sala de estar abierta en la planta principal con chimenea, TV vía satélite y vistas increíbles ofrece un espacio de encuentro cómodo. La cubierta de la sala de estar ofrece vistas espectaculares y más cálido de estar tiempo. Una mesa de comedor para 6 es justo al lado de la cocina bien equipada, y la otra mesa y sillas están disponibles para ampliar la capacidad a 10. No hay banco de asientos adicionales en la isla de la cocina, más una silla alta. También en la planta principal es un medio baño, una despensa de tamaño completo y un lavadero con una lavadora y secadora. El desván encima de la sala principal tiene un baño completo e incluye un sofá cama, sillas y TV vía satélite. Un garaje para dos coches le ofrece la comodidad de aparcamiento fuera del tiempo, además de dos entradas de vehículos separados / salidas ayudar al estado de las carreteras no están en su mejor momento. Nota: Las condiciones invernales en y alrededor de Angel Fire, incluyendo nuestro camino, plantean riesgos de conducción y caminos que a menudo requieren una tracción a las cuatro ruedas. NO FIREWORKS!!!! No outside fires anywhere on the property. The only fire allowed is in the living room fireplace. 4 wheel drive needed in winter.
There is a grill on the deck. The grill is electric, so no coals nor any kind of fire is allowed in it.

Fun family vacation

Wonderful vacation property. Fairly high up in the mountain so the view from the deck is very picturesque. Our family had a great visit to Angel Fire ski resort with some first-time skiers among our crew. Property was equipped with everything we needed and provided a comfortable stay. We enjoyed watching the family of mule deer who visited us daily in the late afternoon.

We enjoyed staying at this home over the Christmas/New Year season. The process was easy and Cynthia was so great to work with. The home is laid out really well for families and the pictures do not give you a full grasp of how beautiful the home is.

We are sorry you felt compelled to give us a three-star rating. It came as quite a shock since for the past eight years we have consistently received five stars. We strive to provide as many things as possible to make our guests’ stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our response here is based on seeing only the first couple of sentences of your review. However, we feel compelled to mention that, after the time for your deposit return had passed, you had people in your group back out. Out of the goodness of our hearts, we gave you a discounted rate for your stay based on only 6 adults being in your group. Pictures of our home show the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. We don’t try to hide anything. We feel 4 ½ bathrooms should be sufficient for six adults. In our property description we note the lower level has only one bathroom which serves the two bedrooms and bunk area. The full bath in the loft is often used by some who stay in the lower level. The two main level bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathrooms, and there is also a half bath on that level. In terms of the appliances, they are all clean and in good working order – and the microwave is new. We don’t typically replace things that are still functioning well. The outside grill is new and works well. It is electric because in our area there are often fire bans where outside fires/grills are prohibited.

Great House w/Great View

This house is great for large family. Main floor has two master bedrooms w/baths, baby beds, living area, kitchen, dining area, laundry room, 1/2 bath and large deck. We have a 17 mo old, so that was great. The loft has sofa and chairs, desk, Barbie house, (our four yr olds LOVED that) full bath, baby gates on stairwell. The basement has two bedrooms, living area, bunk bed area, full bath and puppet showcase. The living room has window wall from ceiling to floor to let in the beautiful scenery surrounding the house and two doors on either side of the windows leading out to the deck. NOTE: the threshold on doors opening to deck are metal and are VERY hot from sunshine, our toddler got blisters on both feet from stepping on it (just took seconds). Other than that everything was great, all you have to bring is your luggage and food/drinks, EVERYTHING else is provided. Enjoy!!! We did.

Very nice cabin.

Really enjoyed staying there. Has most anything you might need in the kitchen. Crib and highchair are handy. 4 wheel drive is needed in the winter time. I give it a 9!

Our family really enjoyed staying On The Rocks!! Enough room for all 9 of us. Enjoyed the view and the home was spacious and clean! Proximity to the ski slopes and town made everything convenient. Would not hesitate to go back again!!!

Amazing!

Our stay was amazing! The house was very spacious and very clean. The kitchen had more gadgets and cookware than we could use during our stay. That made meal times extremely easy. The views were truly breathtaking and it made it hard for us to want to leave. The homeowners were very helpful and answered our questions quickly. It’s not goodbye, but instead- see you next time!

Convenient, Cozy, and Quiet

We loved our stay! We had two families stay together, and we had plenty of room. The owners were so nice and accommodating, especially with COVID19 cutting our trip short. It was an easy check in process, and we had everything we needed. We had easy access to the slopes which was awesome, and a gorgeous view from the porch! Highly recommend 4 wheel drive for the driveway and roads, but it's well worth it.

Second Time to Stay Here

Stayed here again with my brother's family. 4 adults, 4 kids and plenty of room for more if we had needed it. We love the location up the mountain and the fact that we have plenty of room for the kids to have space to play without interrupting adult conversation. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The owners are great with communication. I would imagine we will be staying here again!

Great house

We had four adults and four kids (age range of 6 to 13) and this house was great for us. It's a three level house which makes for plenty of space. The house was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. The loft area was perfect for the kids to hang out and play games or watch TV. It's very close to the ski resort and not too far from the town area in case you need to pick up something from the grocery store or grab a meal. I will say that four wheel drive would be recommended due to the location and the driveway (owner was very upfront about the driveway situation so we knew ahead of time) but we were also there when the weather was pretty crazy for March. The property manager who lives in the area was extremely helpful if we needed something and the owner always responded to any emails, both before and during our trip. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Perfect Getaway

The views from this home are amazing. We loved our stay and the entire family comfortably enjoyed the extra space and bedrooms. The kids entertained themselves "quietly" downstairs while the adults enjoyed a well stocked kitchen and made drinks by the fireplace. I highly recommend this property!

Nice And warm stay

We spent the week of Christmas in Angel Fire and this cabin was perfect! The house was very warm and cozy and had all the amenities that we wanted. The driveway was steep and a four wheel drive was definitely needed as stated on the advertisement

Had a great stay

We found this house to be very well equipped. We stayed for four days for a ski trip and there was absolutely nothing that we needed that the house didn't have. We especially liked the three separated living areas so that our families could have their own space at night. The homeowner had recommended that we not take any 2 wheel drive vehicles down the steep driveways to the house. We had 4 inches of snow the first night we were there and were very glad that we took her advice. The four-wheel-drive pick up came out but not easily. I'm sure that a 2 Wheel Drive vehicle of any kind would not have made it. The drive to the slopes was a bit dicey but the snow plows had it cleared quickly. Again just as promised by the homeowner. We loved the fireplace and there was plenty of firewood. There were snow shovels for digging out and sleds for the kids. This house was very clean when we arrived and everything was just as the owner had said it would be. We highly recommend this house.

We found the Angel Fire community to fill all of our needs, including golfing, hiking, biking, sledding, skiing, fishing, rafting and much more.
