Just down the road from the 500-acre Camp Hohn Boy Scout Reservation, our cabin offers a nostalgic summer camp experience with all the modern comforts you need.

Guests have full access of the home and surrounding gravel area. Guests do NOT have access to the detached garage. We caution guests not to venture uphill into wooded area has the terrain is rocky and treacherous and boundary lines are not clearly marked, therefore leaning to trespassing on neighboring property. Please stay in cleared areas.

Located on a hill in the woods, Camp S`more Fun offers a secluded feel with one close neighbor and other lake homes and cabins spread out.

Camp S`more Fun is approximately 3 hours from Kansas City and St. Louis and less than a 1/2 day from Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. Major highways lead to the lake with blacktop roads up to the entry of the property. The driveway is gravel on an incline but levels out at the top.

-Panoramic Lake View: Perched on a hill, Camp S`more Fun boasts a million-dollar view of the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening stargazing on the large screened-in porch, complete with a game table, dining table, lounge chairs, and a cozy teepee for the kids to play in.
-Fire Pit: Roast marshmallows and tell campfire stories around the fire pit, with a picnic table perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking scenery.

OUTDOOR FUN:
-Games Galore: Challenge your friends and family to a game of giant checkers, outdoor Jenga, or regulation cornhole. Inside, you`ll find cards, poker chips, and a variety of board games to keep the fun going.
-Grilling Options: Cook up a feast with both a gas grill and a charcoal grill available.

-Vintage Decor: The cabin is decorated in vibrant primary camp colors—red, blue, yellow, and green—creating a cheerful and nostalgic atmosphere.
-Full Kitchen: Equipped with everything you need for cooking and grilling.
-Cozy Camp Shower: The single bathroom features a shower, reminiscent of a camp shower house where everyone shares.

WILDLIFE & SECLUSION:
-Nature Encounters: Enjoy the company of deer, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks, lizards, bald eagles, and a variety of wild birds. The peaceful surroundings make for a truly serene retreat.

COMFORTABLE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
-Main Floor: A private bedroom with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, plus a washer and dryer for your convenience.
-Upstairs Bunkhouse: The half-story attic space has a camp bunkhouse feel with two twin beds (a daybed with a pull-out trundle), a double bed, and a queen bed. Perfect for kids or a small group of adults.
-Living Room: The sofa converts to a queen pull-out bed for extra sleeping space.

PETS:
Pets are welcome! 1-2 dogs only, pet fee is applicable. Cats and other pets are case by case, please inquire with the host.

-Modern Comforts: Enjoy the comforts of AC/heating, an electric fireplace, WiFi, and Smart TVs.
-Parking: A large gravel parking area is perfect for guests bringing a boat, ATV trailer, or toy hauler. While we don`t have our own slip or launch, nearby public access points are available.

Important House Rules: 1. No smoking or vaping allowed in the cabin or inside the screened in porch. 2. Quiet hours are from 11PM-8AM 3. No parties. The maximum occupancy is 12 people at ALL TIMES. 4. No fireworks,. 5. Put out fire in the fire pit before retiring for the evening. 7. No fires allowed except in the designated fire pit.
Check-in time is after 4:00 PM *early check-ins MUST be arranged with the host and are not guaranteed Check-out time is 10:00 AM
PETS: The pet fee is a flat $65 per stay and includes 1-2 pets. Please notify your host of pet guests at time of reservation.
