Wonderful stay! Auturo’s airport pickup made arrival easy and stress-free. The apartment had such a calm, peaceful vibe the moment I walked in. From the minute I saw that view, I knew I was HOME! The view was super beautiful, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen very functional.The gym and rooftop pool were amazing, and it was great to have shops and restaurants within walking distance. A special thank you to Auturo; the Colón tour was truly special. I would happily stay here again!

Auturo met us at the airport, took us to a grocery store to get basic supplies and assisted us in various ways including a tour of the countryside and the locks in Colon. Very nice unit for 2 adults, might be a bit tight for 4. Building has a great rooftop deck and what a view! Security is very good. Many nearby restaurants although it doesn’t feel that way when you first walk outside. Highly recommend and hope Auturo is available.

The apartment is in good location. Restaurant and store with in walking distance. The beds in both bedrooms very low. The mattress are hard and very uncomfortable. I had to sleep on couch which wasn't too much better. If both my husband and myself could have fit on couch we both would have been on couch. The apartment is dated. We stayed from 1/14 til 1/24. Panama City is beautiful. The beds are reason for 3 stars.

Great location right on Cinta Costera with proximity to shopping and tourist attractions (e.g., Casco Viejo). Spacious unit with wonderful views, although noise from Cinta Costera is something to be mindful of. Also, the kitchen utensils and tools could use a refresh - pretty worn out. Make sure you know your parking spot before reaching the building for the first time.

Arturo was excellent from the pickup service at the airport to suggestions of what to do in town and he even took us to the grocery store on the first afternoon. The rooftop with pool was very enjoyable after a long day out seeing the sights. The view from the master bedroom was lovely looking at the water and seeing the costa cintera. We took Ubers to pretty much everywhere we went as they are super affordable and the neighborhood was very safe. The apartment was just as shown in the pictures. Overall excellent stay and a great choice for place to stay. We went to Casco Viejo, the Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal, tour of lake gatun and saw white faced monkeys, took a Panamanian cooking class in Casco Viejo and walked to the fish market. We also went to the San Francisco neighborhood for one nights dinner. We also took Arturo up on going to à la fonda. Went to one on the Marbella neighborhood same as where the apartment is located and the food was very good. Arturo added to our guest exerience

Seeing Panama City

This property is just as advertised. The sitting area poolside, along with the views, were awesome. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great view and location.

Unbeatable view and location. Lots of food and shopping nearby. Had everything we needed as far as towels, etc. Good Internet and TV options. Traffic noise can be intrusive at times, usually not an issue.

Great location!

We had a pleasant stay. Auturo was super helpful and very responsive. The kitchen is well equipped. The AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. The pool and gym are pretty standard. We had a nice week.

Beautiful location, nice unit.

The stay was at the wonderful BayTowers Apartments. Its steps from Av. Balboa and the wonderful Balboa Boutique shops. The Mercado is exceptional.The only regret is the road noise in the master bedroom but apart from that, things are very nice indeed. Well appointed kitchen and great washer and dryer.

city break in Panama

This was a great appartment with 2 bedrooms / bathrooms. It was really well equipped and the pool / gym area on the roof top were excellent for relaxing. The power of the shower in the main bedroom was possibly the best we have had in the Americas! Whilst the view from Living room / main bedroom was quite excellent. Auturo was a complete star for us - met us at airport; took us up to Colon and the locks there and took us back to the airport. Really wanted us to have a good week. As others have said it is quite loud in terms of traffic from main road but we managed to block that out pretty easily. Really enjoyed it here

Nice views

We had a little trouble finding out how to check in to the apartment as the person that was to meet us to help with check in wasn’t there yet. The security guard was so sweet and patient. He helped us with the process. Thank goodness for having the “translate app” on our phones. View was nice. Beds comfortable. Had an issue with the AC unit in the master, but that got fixed the next day. Short walk to several restaurants nearby. Tour shuttle picked up from this location for Aqua Clara Locks, the Gamboa Rainforest, and Fort San Lorenzo which was nice.

LACK OF COMMUNICATION from the OWNER

THIS REVIEW IS LONG….First let me say that giving this review ONE star was being generous. Things did not go right from the very beginning. LACK OF COMMUNICATION is the reason. One day prior to my checkin, I had to contact the owner (Gerald) to have the check-in instructions for the property sent to me. The icing on top of the cake was not having AC in the secondary bedroom for 26 days, almost half of our stay. I contacted Gerald and the property manger when I found out the AC was not working. I moved into the secondary bedroom because the noise from the outside/street was to great for me to be able to sleep. The secondary bedroom had no windows therefore the sounds outside were not audible in the bedroom. I informed the property manager and Gerald that the AC was blowing cool air. First they tried to fix it, that didn’t work. I had to contact VRBO to inform them of the situation because I was not getting a proper remedy from the owner. He stopped communicating with me until I contacted VRBO for the third time. Gerald told me there was adequate airflow in the unit with the AC in the LR and the primary bedroom, which meant I needed to keep the door open so the air would flow through. This was not the appropriate remedy. Finally on day 26, the building maintenance replaced the AC unit. No cleaning services were provided even though we stayed for 53 days. I found a housekeeper from people in the building. OWNER was irresponsible, Unit was ok.

Susan, every effort was made to accommodate your request in a timely manner. It was unfortunate that the parts needed were unavailable to us. Once we installed the new a/c we were informed that you did not use it. We would love to have you stay with us in the future.
