Walnut Cottage is an adorable 2br/2ba cottage just one block from downtown Mentone AND Brow Park! Hot tub, fire pit and a fenced yard make this the perfect spot to enjoy all that Mentone has to offer!
A double screened porch welcomes you to Walnut Cottage. Sit and relax bug free in the Summer and enjoy the hot tub in the cooler months. Open living provides high vaulted ceilings and gas log fireplace with plenty of room to make Mentone memories that will last a lifetime. Fully equipped kitchen so you can stay in to cook if you want or you can walk to downtown restaurants. Cozy linens in both the Queen bedroom and double twin beds in the second bedroom. Two bathrooms with our fav shampoo, conditioner & shower gel as well as fluffy towels for your stay. Venture outside to the fenced yard, where your furry friend can safely explore Mentone as well. A charcoal grill and fire pit complete this great little cottage just a block from downtown Mentone AND Brow Park.

Nice location. Kitchen is stocked. Easy walk to downtown. A few cobwebs in home and porch but is to be expected for a cabin.

Great place to stay!

The cottage was perfect. I was very pleased with the cabin's cleanliness. It smells fresh and has no odors. I didn't use the hot tub, so I don't have any opinions about it. However, the screened porch where it was located was wonderful! It was an excellent place for morning coffee. I had my dog with me, and the fenced-in backyard was a plus. Location is nice. I walked to town a few times. Brow Park is less than a minute away and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Most perfect place

We had a perfect stay at this cozy cottage right in the heart of Mentone. The location was ideal, just steps from shops and restaurants yet still peaceful and relaxing. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We especially loved relaxing on the screened in porch and being able to walk to downtown. It was the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful cottage in the middle of Mentone

We were looking for a nice place to stay for a couple of nights for a quiet birthday weekend getaway and Walnut Cottage was perfect. The cottage is decorated nicely and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It is easy walking distance to places to eat and shop in Mentone and just minutes’ drive from DeSoto Falls and State Park. Our hostess Holly was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely book this location or any other location managed by the hostess again.

Great location

This house has a great, central location. We enjoyed the fenced yard for our dog. There were minor repair issues throughout the house, but we overall had a good stay here.

Wonderful Stay!

We were looking for a short birthday getaway with our pups. Walnut Ridge was perfect: fenced yard, one level, convenient location. It had everything we wanted. The cottage is cute and comfy, loved having the screened porches. I would definitely recommend. One person mentioned a musty smell, only smelled cleaning products upon entering. Opening the doors aired that out quick enough.

Mentone and Walnut Cottage, our favorite place!

The location was great, short walk to shops and to Brow Park. Walnut Cottage was perfect for the four of us and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We hope to be back next spring. Holly was great to be available to answer our questions.

Incredible!

Perfect little spot for what we needed. An adorable and clean house with all the necessary items to make a comfortable stay. Our dogs loved the yard and screened in porch and we loved the hot tub!

Will not stay again

Musty smell was overwhelming even after doors open to air out. TV’s did not work upon arrival but Host immediately came to fix. Unfortunately could not get the fireplace to work. Lights around hot tub didn’t work and several jets in the hot tub didn’t work. Beds were comfy and air conditioning was great. Good location,

Almost Perfect Mountain Cabin

The cabin had just about everything we needed. The interior was almost perfect. I tried to hang a few clothes and didn’t have a closet in the room with twin beds. The only hangers I could find were wire hangers and no where to hang anything unless I used the laundry/ storage room. The cabin itself was very clean, but I had to sweep a bunch of cobwebs and leaves from the front porch… not a big deal. The cabin was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely come again and get the same cabin!

4th of July trip

Perfect little getaway for the holiday weekend. Absolutely loved the screened in porch. We spent most of our time out there. The home had everything we needed and the dimmers on all the lights in the main area were a nice added touch. The bed in the master was super comfortable. The home was walking distance to the cute shops downtown. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!
