Delightful Getaway

Delightful property for family get-together near the beach. Home has very hospitable layout, with many indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Very nice location. Right down the road from Tunnel Park Beach. Loved it.

Great communication from owner. Holland is an awesome town, and nearby towns are nice as well. Would recommend.

Another delightful stay

We have been here before. Very well located for going to the park, tunnel park, walking along LakeshoreDr. Also for going into Holland, finding groceries or seeing the area. The house remains in very good condition, well equipped and very comfortable. Spacious dining arrangements inside and out.

Nice house and yard

Nice house as shown in the pictures. Very roomy and comfortable. Location was good and easy to get to the beaches. More bath, hand and kitchen towels would have been helpful and doing less laundry.

Great location!

We enjoyed our second time staying at this property, which is conveniently located near both Holland State Park and Tunnel Park (which has undergone a great beach restoration in the last few years). The house has a good amount of space (plus extra) for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. The beds are comfortable and we especially enjoyed the basement seating area. We enjoyed the use of bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards.

This home was so cozy and welcoming.

We loved out stay here with our family! It was peaceful and relaxing yet plenty close to the beach, activities, restaurants and hiking if we were feeling like more of an adventure. Having the bikes for all of the trails was fantastic. We had a few things that needed attention and Ed was on top of it and took care of it immediately! We will be back!!

Holland Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was great. The location is exceptional! Holland State Park beach is only about 1.5 miles away and Tunnel Park Beach is about 1 mile so getting to either was no issue. We loved having access to the bikes. Highly recommend checking out Tanglewood Winery and Bowerman's Farm in addition to the beaches, which are only a short distance away. Host was quick to respond and aid with any questions or concerns.

Great vacay spot

The house was great, it was everything we needed. The yard provided a great spot to sit outside in the shade of the trees where you could feel the breeze. It was a nice 25-30 minute walk to the beach at the state park each day, you could also drive and pay for the Michigan State Park membership and park if the walk is too long. Great food and night life not too far away as well. We had 10 people at the house and it never felt crowded. It’s also nice and quiet on the street.

Home away from Home

This property exceeded all expectations. My parents, brother, his wife and my family of five fit this property perfectly. Bike trails, the beach, food and water sport entertainment were all within walking distance. In addition, the owners thought of everything a visitor might need while away. It is a beautiful home and Ed was easy to reach. We would definitely rent this one again!

Lovely Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely very well stocked cottage!!! The location was perfect for getting to Ottawa beach quickly or The General Store or Dune Dogz or Tacos and Tequila. We walked (16 minutes) to the General Store every morning for donuts.The house had everything we needed plenty of beach and bath towels. We had a two year old and appreciated the baby gate on stairs. Beds were very comfortable! Yard was awesome and plenty of outdoor seating for our family reunion. We would definitely stay there again!

Great house, Great location

Short of having the beach at the back door, this house is very well located, 5 minutes to either the State Park or to the Tunnel Park access to the beach. It is very up to date with good amenities. It needs a new sofa bed on the lower level, and a quick fix of several GFI outlets . We had a big group and it was more than adequate. Add the outside living possibilities and it was great. The owners were nearby, very helpful and friendly.

Great family Vacation

This worked great for our family vacation. Grandparents, parents and 5 children from 11 down to 1. Beautiful setting and peaceful location. Kids enjoyed watching a deer that came thru the yard. The home was very clean and neat. It is close to everything. The grandkids enjoyed walking to Tunnel Park as well as the General Store. The home had everything you need in a well-organized kitchen and plenty of stuff for the beach if you need it. The kids enjoyed the beach toys!! All in all, a great place to stay. We hope to rent it again!!

Annual vacstion

We have tried VRBO homes in the past. We have not been overall pleased with the condition and cleanliness of the homes. This home was beautiful! Very clean and everything worked. We’ll be staying here again if there are any vacancies. If I had any complaints it would be no king sized beds. We’re all very tall. Not a big deal but once you sleep in one it’s difficult to go to a smaller bed. Well done!!!

1st visit to Holland will be back

Loved the town and easy access to beaches. The house was perfect for our family and would have had room for several more to stay with us. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and the 2nd family room on the lower level was fantastic. It had beach supplies chairs umbrellas and even bikes. Walking distance to the Ottawa general store and a cute taco joint Holland state park is close too but not our cup of tea. It was way to busy and had some questionable aka non family friendly people. We found a small beach nearby that the owner suggested that was perfect quick drive to target and grocery stores and adorable downtown Holland. We will be back next summer, hopefully for 2 weeks

Lovely property with all of the comforts of home.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Holland and the house was very comfortable for my family of 9. The only comment I want to make is about the location. In the map, it looks very close to Lake Michigan and the beaches. But actually Mt. Pisgah is in between the house and the beach. It is actually a 20-30 minute walk to the beach because you have to go all the way around! This was disappointing to us because it was not clear. Luckily, we like to walk and bike and the home sits right on the trail. It took some adjusting of attitude though! lol All in all it was a great week exploring the area.

Gem of a home near Holland and Lake MI

Our family had an outstanding stay at this gorgeous home Family included: my parents; my brother, his wife, and their toddler; and myself plus spouse, two children and infant. This home's layout worked spectacularly for our group. We were able to spread out and have our own spaces and TWO common "living rooms". The porches and backyard were great, and we loved the XL parking pad + garage. Kitchen was fantastic – great size and wonderful table options in kitchen and dining areas. Wanted to call out two specific ways in which the homeowners went above and beyond. First, the microwave died on our first day there, and the owner was extremely responsive and had a new one installed in just a day or two. Second, the amenities provided in this home elevated our stay. From travel size toothpaste in the bathrooms to laundry detergent and dish soap on hand and bikes, beach chairs, and other recreational items in the garage for use, we had just about everything we needed. There was also an abundance of beach and regular towels. We especially loved the location of this home. Right on the bike path, we were a quick mile from Holland State Park and a mile from Tunnel Park (our kids' favorite). We brought bikes with us and rode or walked daily. Our kids delighted in the picturesque nature and spying black squirrels and deer. Highly recommend this home!!

Family gathering for wedding in Grand Rapids

We had a wonderful stay here. Our main purpose was to have a place where family members coming in from different parts of the country could all be together, leading up to a wedding. Easy access to both Tunnel (best for kids) and Ottawa beaches entertained/relaxed everyone, and the house has lots of beach lounge items and toys. Four nice bikes with locks also made for good rec. The house is very clean and attractively decorated. Well-stocked kitchen has up-to-date appliances. Lots of room for parking in driveway/garage. Beds/pillows were extremely comfortable. Nice grill and attractive tri-level deck space in back. Only a couple minor suggestions: more towels and pillow cases; consider adding an hr to the 10am check out, and make it clear (so we won’t pester owners) that renters will only get info on the house’s address/means of entry until Th before arrival (2 days for most). The last thing renters might want to know: the extensive road repair in MI right now causes day to day trouble with getting into Holland and all hwys in area. Overall: I highly recommend this rental and would rent here again.

Great Location

We had a very nice time staying at this lovely home. It was spacious with lots of seating for meals. The kitchen was pretty well stocked except we could have used a Pyrex casserole dish for oatmeal bake and brownies. We do lots of cooking. Also could have used some extra bath towels. The owner was great and brought us a couple more. Best of all the location was very great. Close to the beach and Tunnel Park. Enjoyed ice cream at Dune Dogs!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful week and loved how close the beach was to the house (5 min bike ride.) Appreciated the (4) available bikes, beach chairs/towels and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook.

I came to Holland to visit Lake Michigan ever since I was a child and still love this area today. Enjoying a sunset from the beach is breathtaking.
