Ainslie Point Deluxe Waterfront Cottage con acceso a la playa y al muelle

Esta cabaña de lujo se encuentra en Ainslie Point, en la cabecera del puerto de Bedwell, con vista al agua en tres lados. Tendrá acceso a nuestro muelle privado y playa, además podrá pescar su propio cangrejo fresco para una cena especial. La gran área de cubierta ofrece una vida exterior extendida tanto encubierta como en los alrededores abiertos. Disfruta de la alimentación de los colibríes, las nutrias que juegan en el muelle, los ciervos que examinan el jardín y observan el tráfico marítimo que pasa.

Puede disfrutar de un momento romántico / tranquilo especial y / o participar en las actividades de esta área ecológica única preservada por el Fideicomiso de las Islas. Esta ubicación es central para galerías, caminatas, golf de disco, un campo de golf de nueve o 18 hoyos, restaurantes, la 'Poet's Cove' de clase mundial y mucho más.

La temporada baja es tan hermosa como los meses de verano, calentada por una chimenea y a veces embellecida por una capa de nieve delicada.

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

We had a fantastic week at this beautiful cottage. The ocean views are spectacular. The location is lovely and peaceful. Mack and Alma were wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay on Pender!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in August - from seeing otters, deer, seals and osprey, to swimming in the ocean every day, all aspects were delightful! Alma and Mack (and Callum) were fantastic hosts, we hope to visit again next year!

What a wonderful stay!

My family and I have been visiting Pender Island almost every summer for years, and this is the first time we stayed at Ainslie Point Cottage. We were very impressed by how clean, comfortable and well stocked it was. The kids loved playing on the private beach. Alma was a lovely and communicative host. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we would love to come back again!

Sooo amazing

The cottage is exactly as described. It’s very clean, water access is phenomenal and you can fish and crab from the dock. The hosts are incredibly kind and very responsive. This is an excellent property.

A peaceful oasis

The cottage is a great place to relax with private beach access from which to launch our kayaks. It was comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the wildlife and the regular boat traffic. The views of the water and the peace and quiet were what we enjoyed the most.

Ainslee Point cottage is absolutely wonderful

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in the Ainslee Point cottage. Alma and Mack were very kind and considerate. The cottage is beautifully set up with everything you could possibly need. The location is just stunning. We loved being within walking distance to so many great hiking trails, ie mount Norman. We enjoyed canoe rides in their beautiful bay. We will definitely be going back!

A Magical Place

What a wonderful magical place. We spent an idyllic few days at Ainslie Point Cottage with everything we could possibly need. The cottage was spotless and really well equipped including tea, coffee, and other store cupboard items as well as washer, dryer and we even had the use of a rowing boat or canoe too. Best of all was the magnificent view soaked up from the comfy sofa on the veranda or from the chairs on the large deck. Thank you Alma and Mack for sharing this corner of paradise.

Peaceful and beautiful.

The most important feature of the cottage was the extraordinary view over the water and small islands at the head of Bedwell Harbour. Second was expansive deck, covered and uncovered that allowed one to just relax and stare. Cottage is comfortable and well maintained with all amenities one could want. Use of canoe and crabtrap was bonus that we took advantage of to our delight but the crabs’ chagrin.

We were happily surprised when we arrived to see the property we saw on line was so much than we anticipated...breathtaken. Alma, Mack and Callem were super hosts. My husband's all-time favourite holiday!

We just spent a fabulous week at Alma and Mack's cottage on Ainslie Point. It is truly a paradise there. We had every kind of weather, from power-outing storms and torrential rains to warm sun and clear skies, and the cottage (with its spacious surrounding decks) was the ideal place to be. My husband loved snorkelling from the dock and all around the shore, and there were wonderful hikes and viewpoints nearby. Alma and Mack are charming hosts, and have provided everything one could possibly need. What a perfect way to bring in fall!

This is a beautiful property and a one of a kind experience. We stayed 6 nights and loved every minute of our stay. The cottage is amazing and extremely well thought out in every detail. We really enjoyed meeting Alma at check-in and then Mack at the end of our stay. I could write about all of the beautiful details but will leave for you to discover. Extraordinarily peaceful setting

This was our third stay at this property for my husband and me. Once again, we found it the ideal setting for a peaceful, private, and relaxing getaway. The cottage is the perfect size for two people and it is bright and sunny inside. We spent almost all our time just hanging out on the large deck looking at the ocean, listening to the birds, and watching the boats slow down to go under the bridge. There are a couple of good hikes within a short walk from the property. Mack and Alma are friendly and helpful hosts, and always available when we had questions. We feel very lucky to have found this place and have already booked to return again next year!

Consistently great!

My husband and I came to the cottage for our second time for our weeklong holiday. It was every bit as good as the first time! Mac and Alma are amazing hosts who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The property is gorgeous and quiet, but with the visual interest of watching all the boats go by heading for the bridge. It’s hard to imagine a nicer deck. At any time of day you can choose between full sun, dappled sunlight from the Arbutus tree, or full shade. We can’t wait to return again next year!

AWESOME

This was absolutely awesome!. When you come up the driveway and see the view , it is amazing. There is a beautiful ocean view from every window. The house is extremely clean. It has everything you could possibly need. We love to hike and there is plenty of beautiful places to go. So peaceful. Watch the sun go down on lovely deck overlooking the ocean in the evening. Highly recommend . Thankyou so much Elma for sharing your piece of paradise !

Bright, peaceful, comfortable and a terrific view.

Alma and Mack, thank you again for letting us stay at your fabulous cottage this past weekend. We weren't exaggerating when we said it is the nicest one we have stayed in so far. Mike asked me what I look for when I pick a place for us to stay, and I said I look at the bedroom, that it doesn't look outdated, or has a bedspread that was probably embroidered by someone's grandmother. And I look at the living room furniture, because it's quite possible we may have to be sitting inside due to the weather. Your cottage was wonderfully decorated, and the new reclining chairs you have are extremely comfortable. So often rentals are where all the outdated and tired things end up from the renters main house. This is certainly not the case with your cottage. It was a delight.

A bright, peaceful oasis

Alma and Mack, thank you for sharing your exceptional property with us. Ainslie Point Cottage was one of the most calming and relaxing places we have ever visited. The cabin was quite comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The open layout kitchen/living room/dining room and decks offered plenty of space and were the perfect size for the two of us. Although we visited many of the sights on North & South Pender Island, we enjoyed kayaking Bedwell Harbour and relaxing on the deck the most. The fact that your property is on a cul-de-sac, close to over 240 acres of Mount Norman/Beaumont Marine Park, part of the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve, was a bonus. We loved the quiet and being surrounded by nature. We were constantly entertained by the regular sightings of deer, dragonflies, eagles, hummingbirds, ducks, geese, otters, and seals. We appreciate that you were easy to reach and responded to all of our questions or emails. Callum was a welcoming and charming watch-dog. Rain or shine, our stay was endlessly relaxing and beautiful. We are looking forward to returning.

Pender Island Fall Getaway

Beautiful, relaxing, home away from home. Alma and Mack excellent hosts. Enjoyed meeting the two Westies Callum and Brennen. Planning our return visit in 2022.

My husband and I have owned the property since 1993. We built the cottage shortly after and used it with family and friends for 10 years. In the last 8 years we completed building our retirement home on the same property and live there full time. The cottage is now available for rent and we love to share this beautiful location with others. The cottage has its own view and is separated from our home by trees.

The self contained cottage has all the amenities of a full house. It is private and has beautiful water views on 3 sides.

We had a wish list for the property of our dreams for retirement and traveled to all the Southern Gulf islands over several summers til we found this perfect spot. Enjoy your stay!

Renters have access to the beach and boat dock, with use of a canoe and rowboat (along with life jackets) and a crab trap.
The cottage has large outer decks, a fold out futon, swinging chairs, varied deck furniture and an outside BBQ . This provides full outside living surrounded by glass railings, a mixture of trees types and a stunning water view.
