The WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio will be undergoing renovations from Apr. 15, 2024, to May 15, 2024. During this period, services will be provided in our ballrooms or at the Baja Point Workout room. Please be aware of construction noise during business hours.

The tennis and pickleball courts will be temporarily closed for touch-up painting from May 6, 2024, to May 15, 2024.

Beginning Jun. 14, 2024, through Oct. 15, 2024, the resort will undergo villa refurbishment. Construction will occur during daytime hours, and guests may experience some noise. However, all other resort amenities will remain open and fully operational for your enjoyment. Thank you for your understanding.

As of January 15, 2023, by government decree, smoking is prohibited in all areas of the hotel, the beach area, and transit areas in common with other guests.  Exclusive areas for smoking will be identified in the hotel’s map if located within the property.
Service Animal Policy
Service animals that perform work or tasks are welcome at this resort, but family pets are not permitted. Bringing a pet to the resort will result in a room recovery fee. In the event we discover that you have brought a pet to the resort, you will be charged a room recovery fee in the amount of $500 per pet and you will be asked to take your pet to a local, third-party boarding facility.
Please be aware that in some locations, misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a misdemeanor and may result in a monetary penalty and/or imprisonment.

Located in the southernmost tip of the state of Baja California Sur, Los Cabos consists of two main areas: Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo. Cabo San Lucas This tourist-friendly town is located on the tip of the Baja Peninsula and is full of entertainment for every age. The Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet at Land’s End, hosting many beautiful rock formations, including the famous Cabo Arch. You can also find Medano Beach, the liveliest beach in the Los Cabos area, an impressive marina, and countless restaurants and bars that keep the town alive both day and night. San José del CaboWalking around downtown San José lets you experience a traditional Mexican town. Find yourself surrounded by colorful buildings and quaint cobblestone streets that lead to the town’s zócalo (main plaza). Over the years, San José has become an artistic and cultural center, with numerous fine art galleries in its downtown art district, as well as world-class restaurants. San José also has a beautiful beach, perfect for horseback rides to explore the estuary that is home to many different bird species.

Other Things to Note:
The Mexican state of Baja California Sur assesses a hospitality tax that is due upon check-out. The tax — charged in Mexican pesos — is subject to currency conversion with your banking institution and subject to change without prior notice. Effective February 28, 2023, all hotels in Los Cabos municipality collect the Derecho de Saneamiento Ambiental at the moment of check-in or upon check-out. It is up to 145.20 pesos per room per night.
