Escape to Ensenada Beach

You will definitely enjoy this Ensenada beach home named 'El Descanso', 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room with all the amenities such as a 55" HDTV in the living room with Satellite Sky TV, blu-ray and VHS players with a large selection of DVD and VHS movies, wireless WiFi internet. The master bedroom has a 42” HDTV with Satellite Sky TV, blu-ray and VHS players, dining area, fully contained kitchen, laundry room, backyard patio with drop in grill, fish fryer, area with table and chairs. Walking distance to and from the beach.

Ocean view from master bedroom w/AC and 2nd bedroom with balcony and bistro set, 10-15 minutes from downtown or Estero Beach and 30 minutes from The Bufadora. There is currently 178 wineries in Valle de Guadalupe with others soon to open along with new restaurants. There is camping, golf and other resorts close by too.

Home is located in the community of Loma Dorada. You can walk to Costco, Home Depot, Blockbuster, WalMart Super Center, Applebee's, Cineplex Movie Theater and Calimax/grocery store. Loma Dorada is in the process of becoming a private gated community. There is a 24/7 security guard and walkways to the ocean. There are several American citizens that live in this community and most people speak English. Estero Beach is 15 minutes from the home and Bufadora is within 30-45 minutes away. Wine tasting and golf is closeby too. You can golf at Baja Mar or other golf courses such as Ensenada's Country Club nearby with a 20-25 minute drive.

Great for Families

A great place if you have a family. We felt safe, with good a security service in the neighborhood. There was plenty of space, whether we were hanging out as a family or enjoying some alone time. Lots of places nearby that American's "need", like Starbucks and Walmart.

Baja 500 Team

Booked it for the Baja 500. We kept our motos in the garage, easy walk to big box stores. Neighborhood felt very safe. Peaceful and quiet place. Friendly neighbors, we ended up having a beer with the guy next door. Master bedroom is really nice, AC worked great. Lots of bathrooms, big TV, great wifi, very clean and in perfect condition. I would book with them again for sure.

Wonderful House

I don’t know what the previous reviewer was smoking… the house and location was excellent. The house: first impression I had was how clean and spacious it is. We had 8 people in our group, 4adults/4kids, so the bedroom layouts were perfect. 1 room has a bunk bed and a twin bed. Just something to consider in case it’s an adult-only trip. Only the master bedroom has AC, however there are ceiling fans and plenty of regular fans throughout the house to cool it down. The neighborhood was safe and clean. A few blocks from the beach while still being close to all shopping stores. Communication with the owners was excellent and they were very responsive. I would definitely recommend this property.

From the moment that I booked the home for the Baja 500, everything went very smooth and easy. Communication was at a very high level, and the accuracy of the listing was spot on. Neighborhood not appropriate. Nosy neighbors, stressed all the time while there, couldn’t sleep.

Terrible on edge all the time. Worried about what neighbors would say. Too many emails and phone calls from property owner. Don’t waste your time and money on this beautiful house. Not a getaway, you want to get away. Can’t use all of the house, too many restrictions with house and neighbors, loud dogs barking @ 6am on both sides of house. My 1st bad experience in seven years renting vacation homes. Security guard looking into windows. Apparently everyone in the neighborhood was watching our every move, when we walked out and when we walk in back into the house, security cameras that were on everywhere inside and out of the house at all times.

Great Summer Vacation in Ensenada

Hosts were absolutely available as well as knowledgeable with the area. As for the house, it was very clean and a perfect location when going to Ensenada. Would most definitely return here if I went back to Ensenada!

Everything is covered! Anything you need is provided, and everything else minutes away !

We stayed for four days, and were absolutely blown away ! Michael and Stephanie made the process easy. They were very responsive to any questions I had.The house instructions are simple and easy to understand. House is very clean, inside and out. Most of what you can think of is provided, even beers cold in the fridge! House is minutes away from the beautiful blue beach ! It's in the perfect area, very close to restaurants and shopping. Transportation is very cheap, we used Uber for everything, It's super affordable. This is the perfect getaway location in Ensenada ! There is a lot to do, four days was not enough to experience everything Ensenada has too offer! We are definitely going to use this house again when we go back! It's totally worth it !

Great time in a very comfortable place

We did a guys trip to Ensenada for Labor Day weekend. Picked the keys up from the owner and were on our way. First night we hopped in and uber and took a $6 dollar ride into town for tacos. Arranged for the uber driver to pick us up the next morning so we could go fish. Had the same driver pick us up. Cooked fish the next two nights. Got all the supplies we needed for the trip from the stores that are just around the corner. Costco and Walmart are close by. I would re commend this place for all types of occasions. Family, girls/ guys getaway. I plan to go back in the future.
