A riverfront oasis with 120' water frontage and a private dock, this beloved guest favorite (thanks to Shannon & Anna) offers a dreamy escape full of tranquility and romance. Within 17' of the Piscataquog, the cottage exudes charm and elegance with its cozy interiors, adorned with rustic yet refined decor that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. Large windows provide stunning views, allowing natural light to flood the space for a warm and inviting atmosphere. DIY breakfast included. Eggs , tea, coffee and pancake mix are provided.

The deck with a full view of the river was our favorite feature. We enjoyed both morning coffee and evening relaxation on the deck, reading, viewing the sunset and sunrise and watching the boaters and ducks going by.Kitchen was fully equipped and convenient. Bedroom was roomy and comfortable, adequate drawers and closet space for our 28 day stay. Grocery shopping (Hannaford) was an easy drive. The washer and dryer are modern and efficient - on a 28 day stay we did laundry several times with no hassles.Geographically centralized, with easy access to I-93 and other highways. We were easily able to explore northern New Hampshire and drive into Vermont and southern Maine.

Lovely cottage

We stayed at this property 3 years ago and found out while we were there that it had just been sold. We were heartbroken to think we could never come back. But thanks to Lily she kept this beautiful cottage just as lovely as it was. The peace and calmness looking out at the river is what we enjoyed the most. We will be back for a third time I’m sure!

House is beautiful, they had Kayaks that we were able to use. The house was much bigger than I expected and we thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the back deck. Perfect spot for the weekend get away

Oasis

The location and view exceeded my expectations so much that I didn't even explore beyond the property other than to grocery shop and attend church. All of which was within a 10-15 min drive.I chose NH because of a prior trip where I had enjoyed exploring the northern area and the hiking. However, I quickly abandoned that idea when I landed at the cottage as it checked all the boxes, ie, comfort, consideration, river views, nature, and kayaking* for exploring the Piscataquog River.Lilly was accessible on the two occasions when I ran into entry and re-entry snags due to a misunderstanding and my inadvertantly locking myself out.* I would be remiss if I don't mention that it's a little tricky navigating the hill and rocks for the kayak put-in/take-out, but manageable with caution.I could see myself making this an annual retreat. It's a beautiful place to land and not want to leave.I enjoyed kayaking on the river

A Hidden Gem!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property that truly exceeded all my expectations.From the moment we arrived, I was blown away by the beauty of the place—pictures simply didn’t do it justice! The setting was peaceful and quiet, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The property was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It felt like a home away from home, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time without any worries. A special shout-out to our host, who was absolutely wonderful! They responded to our inquiries almost instantly, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. Additionally, the maintenance man was a lifesaver! When we got stuck in the snow, he went above and beyond to assist us and he ensured that the walkway was always shoveled and salted before we would even leave the cottage in the morning. Overall, this Vrbo rental was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend it enough. I can’t wait to return!

Short restful getaway

Came here for a cozy weekend without the kids and it was perfect! We slept in late and woke up to beautiful images of the frozen lake covered in snow. 8 minute drive to downtown and restaurants followed by cozy day reading and watching movies. Everything was clean and well stocked and so convenient. A perfect getaway!

Perfect

Lilly is a great host who made sure every step of the way went smoothly. The cabin clean with a very cozy feel. The cabin layout was well done providing several social spaces to read, dine, or catch some TV.

Riverside winter retreat

This property was exactly as advertised. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with cooking and baking gear. The beds are comfy. Temperature control is fantastic. It’s a great location - quiet neighborhood and the waterfront is so beautiful. We had a wonderful stay.
