One-bedroom apartment in Portland's Buckman/Hawthorne area. Sleeps up to four with a queen bed and a raised built-in window sofa/daybed platform that folds down into a full-size sleeping surface. The apartment includes a full kitchen with dishwasher, Cadet wall heat, a smart TV, and shared coin laundry available by request. There is no air conditioning. About 10 exterior stairs lead to the shared entrance.



The Space:

This is a private one-bedroom apartment in a small shared-entry building. The bedroom has one queen bed. The second sleeping surface is the raised built-in window sofa/daybed platform shown in the living-room photos; it is not a pullout couch. Remove the back cushions and pull the base forward so it folds down into a full-size sleeping surface. Request bedding before arrival so clean sheets, dedicated sleeping pillows, and warm blankets or comforters can be staged.



The kitchen includes a refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, and coffee maker. The bathroom has a high-sided clawfoot tub and shower; no grab bar or non-slip mat is confirmed.



The apartment uses Cadet wall heaters and does not have air conditioning. The smart TV is available for guests to use with their own streaming accounts. Wi-Fi is provided, but speed and service availability are not guaranteed.



Guest Access:

The apartment is private; the exterior entrance and interior hall are shared with other units. Self check-in uses a static building keypad and a Unit 1 physical-key lockbox. This is not a connected smart-lock property. Current access details are provided securely for the reservation.



About 10 exterior stairs lead to the shared entrance. There is no elevator. Unit 1 is the first door on the right after entering.



Shared coin laundry is beside Unit 5 and is available by request between 9 AM and 8 PM. There is no in-unit washer or dryer.



There is no reserved or private parking. Guests use public curb parking and must follow posted signs.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is in Southeast Portland's Buckman/Hawthorne area, near neighborhood restaurants, shops, and parks. Use a current map for destinations and opening hours.



Getting Around:

Walking, biking, public transit, rideshare, and driving are options in the area. Routes, schedules, travel times, and parking rules can change, so check a current navigation or transit app before traveling.

About 10 exterior stairs lead to the shared building entrance; there is no elevator.



The apartment has Cadet wall heat and no air conditioning. Heat can be uneven in this older building.



The living room includes a raised built-in window sofa/daybed platform. Supervise children around the elevated edge.



The bathroom has a high-sided clawfoot tub/shower. No grab bar or non-slip mat is confirmed.



Quiet hours are 10 PM–7 AM. Smoking is prohibited indoors. Some sound from the floor above, street, or neighboring units is possible.
