Beautiful location, on the lake. Very spacious, lots of household items that you need during your stay. The host was so accommodating and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Vivifying, Vivacious Villa

My stay at the Lakefront Villa 1 included a family of 6 adults. This villa has more than enough space for everyone to move comfortably. The decor was wonderful. It has everything you need to cook and store your food and beverages. The bedrooms are large and spacious. The bathrooms there are above standards. The views of the lake are breathtaking and all you have to do is open the back doors and it will lead you straight to the water. The fire pit was a wonderful place to settle down and relax after a long days activities. The hosts are simply amazing and attentive. If you are looking for a great place to stay I would suggest Lakefront Villa 1 at Lake Wedowee, Alabama.

Long weekend at the lake

The property itself is excellent. We rented a boat for the weekend and were able to dock it at the property which was extremely convenient. A couple of issues that we did not like start with the pictures which depict this to be a standalone property and in reality it is an old Remax real estate office with four connecting units.. with that said if you’re coming with the idea of hanging out with family and friends, maybe having a few drinks on the patio by the grill then you will probably need to find a different place. I received a call from the owner asking if we were having a party when in reality there were three 50 year-old adult adults on the patio, listening to music at a very low volume.. evidently there is a 10 PM quiet time which is actually 9 PM for us since we’re from Georgia. We were never loud, never obnoxious but we’re asked to basically shut it down at 10 PM and go to bed as not to disturb the occupants that we’re staying one wall next to us.

Great Hosts, Great Location, Great Rental!!!

We have a huge blended family with 6 kids. Our oldest is getting married and the 2nd oldest is headed to college soon so, we planned a last minute family trip before the chaos begins. This place had it all. The view of the lake was gorgeous, the house was very clean with comfortable beds, and the hosts are so attentive and wonderful. If we weren’t fishing right off the attached docks, we were sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Marina was only a couple seconds down the road. Multiple restaurants within minutes. Great trip and will always recommend this rental to anyone asking. We’ll be back for sure!

Great location, strange layout but comfortable

We stayed with a group of four 55 adults for a long weekend. The location is GREAT - right off of the main road. If you have stayed at this lake before, you'll understand why that is important - most places are at the end of rutted, dirt roads with SIGNIFICANT hills. We were at Talladega for the race during most of our stay but the guys did get down to the boat dock and fish. We also used the kitchen a fair amount to prep for tailgating meals. The kitchen and dining area are large and inviting. We were missing dishwasher pods, a larger skillet for the stove, and more kitchen towels/hot pads. Also, since there is a wetbar area, we were surprised that there weren't any drink glasses (bourbon/high ball). We made due with the plentiful wine and water glasses as well as the solo cups we brought. This house has a strange layout as the bathrooms are all on one side of the house and the front TV/living room is split by the front door so you are either too close to the TV on the couch or too far away on the two chairs. Not a big issue for us since we weren't there to watch TV - we just found it was a weird layout. But super clean, super nice, and we loved it for our purposes.
