Fantastic trip

Our vacation in Atlantis was fantastic. Atlantis is truly a remarkable place and my family really enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Our condo in Harborside was fantastic as well, conveniently located, but it was also great to have kitchen facilities, washer/dryer, and the space that a room in the main hotel would not have provided. I would highly recommend Atlantis and Harborside in particular.

Excellent experience!!

Thank you for a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at Harborside Atlantis! The 2-Bedroom Lockout comfortably accommodated our party of 6 adults and 1 child and we were pleasantly surprised by the large kitchen and dining area. Each of the two connected units also had its own washer and dryer, which was very convenient. And being right on the Atlantis property gave us easy access to all of the fun water activities, restaurants and attractions!

Experience exactly as described

Sho is the consummate professional. We had no problems with our reservation, and Sho was completely honest, helpful and patient along the way. Harborside is really a nice place to stay. Having a kitchen, washer/dryer and a little more space is great for a family. I would rate the Harborside resort a 4, as it is not a luxury property, but the experience with Sho is definitely a 5.

Very good option if in Nassau

I booked this directly with the owner, shoshanna, who proved trustworthy, communicable, and efficient. the villa itself is in the Harborside resort of colorful buildings near the marina and the marina village (shops, restaurants, etc.) the accommodations were clean, spacious and and generally excellent: one king and one queen bed, two bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen and living area, and a nice little terrace. This is not a deluxe hotel room, but a good place for family to call their HQ. WiFi is non-existent due to distance from Atlantis. Would stay here again if I find myself in the area.

Excellent Christmas at Atlantis

"Showorld" promised a great facility and she didn't disappoint. Her two bedroom lockout had plenty of room for a family of five. The view overlooking the Atlantis Marina was awesome as we spent what little downtime we had daydreaming of owning one of the fabulous yachts docked directly below us. She always responded to our e-mails quickly and her recommendations for dining were excellent. The kitchen amenities were plenty for those that wish to cook instead of going out. We used the passes to the water park every day and never seemed to tire of it. We are already planning next year's trip.

Harborside Atlantis

We enjoyed a mother daughter vacation at the Harborside Resort. There were 9 of us who stayed in a two bedroom lockout and there was plenty of room for all of us. Harborside location is ideal. It was extremely clean and centrally located with easy access to pools, shopping and restaurants. I would recommend visiting the Dunkin Donuts across the street for free WiFi and coffee in the morning. I wold also suggest bringing extra dishwashing tabs and laundry tabs because housekeeping only provides a limited amount. The owner was extremely helpful and answered all questions we had about property. I would absolutely visit this resort again and work with this owner again.

Very disappointing stay at Harborside

We recently returned from a stay at the Harborside and were extremely disappointed. Had other options been available, we would have checked out after first night - beds were as uncomfortable as any my family has ever stayed in - the bedroom bed was hard as a rock and fold out couch could serve as torture device. staff were hit or miss - some very nice and some rude and very disagreeable. Overall, we round experience equivalent to a 2 star hotel. would never return.

Great way to do Atlantis

This is a great way to do Atlantis if you are a family or will be staying for a while. We were torn between a nice villa for the 4 of us out on cable beach and getting rooms at atlantis so we could do the activities there. Shoshana offered her villa for much less than the hotel and it was the same as if we'd gotten it from Atlantis. We were well treated and enjoyed all the property amenities and activities, but also cooked some great meals in the kitchen and watched movies on the DVD player. Shoshana was very professional and responsive and I would definitely work with her again. My criticisms have to do with the villa itself, they are not meticulously maintained on the common grounds, security is loose, and only wired Internet is offered in the rooms

Excellent transaction

The seller immediately demonstrated expertise in the offering by suggesting a better unit for my family than the one I initially inquired about. She was prompt in all communications, and the reservation for the property was transferred precisely as she indicated it would be. I called the property a couple times to make sure the unit was under my name, which it was, and used the concierge to make dinner and babysitting reservations thereafter. It is a pleasure to do business with an honest and straight forward counterparty, and I would recommend her services to anyone who inquired.

Good Experience

We had a good time at Harborside. Susan was fabulous and took care of everything - even arranging airport transfers. The room was fabulous with plenty of space, but I really think most people bring families so one side of the lockoff should have 2 doubles instead of a king. They have a hot tub near the pool that we used every evening and it was great! Check in was quick and easy. My only issue with the property was construction that was going on. We encountered several occasions that the path we were using to get to the main resort was blocked to do construction. I understand that improvements are a great thing, but some signage would have gone a long way. Once we learned how best to get around, we enjoyed the rest of our week!

Harborside Fun

We stayed 6 nights at the Harborside, we have 6 in our family so we needed a larger place to stay. This was a much better alternative for us as 2 rooms in one of the Hotels was much more expensive. We had a 2 bedroom lockout which has 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchen areas (one is smaller like a kitchenette). The place was clean and neat and Shoshana was a great help in answering questions and setting up our reservations. The Harborside is further from the main hotels so you can either take the shuttle (they run every 10 minutes or so) or walk. We actually found that walking was faster once you know your away around and it is a pretty walk by all the fabulous yachts. Only draw back of Atlantis is the expensive food/drink (we ate breakfast in our Condo every morning and most lunches too - this is a big plus for staying at the Harborside) and activities, but I think most everyone knows that going into their vacation. Everything else was great, thanks Shoshana!

Family Vacation at Atlantis

This was my first time booking reservations over the internet with an individual and I had some reservastions. The owner was very responsive and delivered everything promised. The owner not only took care of her property but also confirmed reservations with two other property owners to get us exactly what we wanted - 2 bedroom lockout and a seperate 1 bedroom. Small issue with getting wristbands based on the name associated on all the room reservations (mine) versus the name of the primary room occupant (needed to bill room charges to the individuals in the room). Seemed to be an Atlantis system issue. We did receive all of our wristbands but it was not as smooth as it should have been. Otherwise, I would have rated the experience as excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend or do business with this owner again.

Atlantis Harborside Vacation

We recently vacationed at Atlantis with our two children (7 and 9 years old) and stayed at Atlantis. We went during an off week in January - slightly worried about the weather being too cold - but in fact it was perfect weather....~75 degrees all week long. We believe that choosing an 'off week' was absolutely the right thing to do (yes - we took the kids out of school) and repeatedly mentioned that we were thankful not to be there in the summer on on school vacation week. There were plenty of people there - but it was not crowded and we could go anywhere (water slides, restaurants, activities) without having to worry about crowds, reservations, etc. We stayed at the Harborside - and would definitely stay there again. We booked the rental with Shoshana and she was GREAT! Her responses to emails and questions were speedy fast! There was a question about the resort that we had - and she looked into it right away! She checked in with us after we arrived and again after we returned home. Shoshana definitely 'gets' customer service - and we appreciated all of her work and efforts. Her prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely book thru Shoshana again - and would recommend her to friends/family. In regards to Harborside specially - this worked out really well for us. It is close enough to the resort to walk or take the frequent shuttle. The front desk staff were very kind and super accommodating. We saved a ton of money by doing breakfast in the room and either bringing lunch to Atlantis or coming back to the room. We had a one-bedroom premium suite and this was perfect space for the 4 of us. Of note - if you would like a water view - it is best to request this BEFORE you arrive as they go fast. I'm not sure if this is something Shoshana can do or not when the reservation is made. But ask - she will respond. Of note - the best thing we ate all week was the Broiled Grouper at Twin Brothers (a locals restaurant) at the Fish Fry. We took a cab there and the grouper was well worth it! It was a great week! Shoshana - thanks again for all of your great help!!

Husband's 50th Birthday wish

We just returned from an adventurous 4 nights at Atlantis. My husband had wanted to slide down the Mayan Temple ever since we saw an add for Atlantis many years ago, so for his 50th birthday, that's what he did! The ride lasts for all of 20 seconds, but you feel like you were shot out of a cannon. Ladies, beware of bathing suit tops. They tend to come undone :) Shoshana was a delight to work with. We has several phone calls and emails prior to our departure and answered all questions that I had, or directed me to someone who did. Our 1 bed/1 bath condo was clean, well appointed and close to the pool. Living room, full kitchen, dining room and a balcony! The Point restaurant poolside is where we mostly ate breakfast for under $20 per person. That's a rarity at Atlantis, as everything is expensive. Cab fare from the airport is about $35 plus tip, and a trip over the bridge to town and back is about $9. We found that buying snacks and booze in town and bring it back to our room was way more economical. Beers run about $9, and mixed drinks $14. I would highly recommend Cafe Athena in town for a Greek lunch or dinner, and the Poop Deck for harbor side dining which caters to locals as well. The straw market area was interesting, and a diverse menu of local favorite foods. The park was clean, but crowded. The best times are 1st thing in the morning (it opens at 9 AM) and after 5PM due to the HUGE crowds from the cruise ships. Park closes at 7 PM. Several slides were closed due to maintenance issues. The tube ride into the shark tank was a blast, and the river rapids was probably our favorite. The Casino was fun, but don't expect to win big. Our favorite place was a bar in Cove Beach...good drinks (though pricey) and a swim in the cove where you can spot a lot of different fish swimming right next to you. Some were a little big for my comfort :) Atlantis as a whole is clean and visually stunning. I would recommend the condo and Shoshana highly, which is why I gave 5 stars. The rest of the resort only rated 4 stars for the high prices and huge crowds, and the maintenance issues. I would return on the off season absolutely to avoid the long lines. There was a ton of things we missed and only ate on site one night. If you want to experience EVERYTHING, then stay at least a week. Hubby got to full fill one thing on his bucket list, so it was all good :)

Aspectos negativos: Comunicación

Where do I start? We paid way too much for a 2 bed lockoff-that was in disrepair. None of this was shared with us until we checked in-no housekeeping services. No bedspreads. Our beds just had sheets-we had to call for blankets. We were not given anything at check-in. I had to ask for a map of the property. The "Welcome" package was not given to us-I received it when I asked for laundry detergent. Susan the property manager was never in touch with us. I complained at the front desk and didn't receive a call from "management" as I was told. The Covid19 procedures were not explained to us at all. We had to schedule our test appointments on our smart phone in the lobby-which had terrible signal. I kept getting kicked off. I was scheduling 5 people and there was no way to go back to see what I had submitted. I was told by the person at the front desk on the night of June 15th that no one else has had problems maneuvering the website except me. When I asked about how people that do not have smart phones get the appointments scheduled-her reply was "Everyone has smart phones or has someone in their party that has one" , which I highly doubt that. I use my cell phone to conduct business every day-her comments to me were very condescending. After spending an hour trying to get this completed and on the verge of tears she finally took my phone and scheduled the appointments for me. There was no offer to use a computer. Their was no appointment on the day that I needed-so I was told to just show up and they would get me in. All of this was very concerning to me since this was very important for me to get my family back to the states. We finally were tested and told we would get the results within 2 hours by email. We did not get the results, I went back to where we were tested (The Coral) and was told she would email me within the hour. Again I didn't receive the results. So I had to take the bus across the property for the 3rd time and tell the person at the test site that I was not leaving until I received the email. I couldn't get on the property free wifi so they finally gave me the password to their wifi so I could check my email to confirm that I received the results. Then I had to go back to Harborside to get the results printed., she was VERY, VERY helpful-Kelly Kadejah was her name. The lack of communication about this very important process was very stressful-plus the condition of the condo was deplorable considering what we paid. NEVER AGAIN.

Not to be repeated!

When I asked the owner a question about the hotel or what they had available, I was told she doesn’t know and to ask the hotel. When I booked I wasn’t told I had no oven or barbecue. There was a water leak in my bathroom from the AC one of the nights and we had to stay up late for them to fix it. I also wasn’t told there would be a charge for extra towels or shampoo or detergent. Our room key had to be changed every time we went in. We had to walk back and forth after every use to get a new key. We were charged for the worst WiFi that really wasn’t at all available. I will not be recommending his property that was over priced.

Spring Break at Harborside (Atlantis) Paradise Island

Spring break with wife and three teenage boys. Great trip. Harborside is the way to go! Close enough to walk and enjoy everything at Atlantis and have a quieter place to return to in the evening to relax by pool/hot tub and home cooked meal in villa. Shuttle available every morning to take you to grocery store for supplies. Shuttles also available to ride to Atlantis if you wish. It's great to be able to use your room key where ever you go on the property to charge to your room so you can leave cash/credit cards in room and not have to worry about it. Shops/restaurants between harborside and Atlantis accept room key as well. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Rental Handle and exceptional property

The coordinator for this Rental ,Sho Silkes, Did a fabulous job. The transaction was smooth and her communication was excellent. We love the Atlantis Harborside and we were placed in a brand new/newly renovated room. We couldn't be happier. I would definitely use her as a rental contact agent again and stay here again.

Booking with Sho was easy and efficient for our family group of 13. Both the 3 bedroom unit as well as the one bedroom unit were well maintained with the added plus of being beside each other. Harbourside is a wonderful place to stay at with staff very friendly and helpful as well as being offsite from Atlantis just far enough for some peaceful down time after a day at the park.

First time and it was amazing!

We booked a two bedroom condo on the forth floor overlooking the pool and it had a small view of the ocean. The room was extremely clean and the room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. The Aruba Marriott Surf Club was awesome. To book the room was extremely easy with Sho. All transactions were easy. I would recommend her services in booking your vacation. I will use her again.

Great trip!

We had a wonderful time in Atlantis thanks to Sho. She found us a great place to stay on the property at a very reasonable price. She also recommended places to eat and even gave us the name of a person who would pick us up at the airport. He was excellent and checked in with us from time to time to make sure everyone was ok. I would highly recommend Sho as she was professional and very knowledgable. We will definitely call her for our next trip!

Great stay

This unit met all expectations and the owner was honest and easy to talk to. Would definitely recommend. Great location, roomy and very clean.
