Welcome to Cedar Shores! Our home is perfect for families and situated with in walking distance to Douglas town beach or a short drive to Oval Beach and downtown Douglas & Saugatuck! Sip a morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail on the fully screened in front porch. Dine al fresco on the open air porch.
The property offers two separate, but adjacent dwellings. The main house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, sleeps a maximum of 8 adults, has a full chef’s kitchen, dining and living room in addition to a wraparound porch with a fully screened in portion, with an outdoor (open air) shower. A small courtyard and shared, gated, walkway connects to the Guest House that consists of 1 bedroom/1bath, its own fully equipped kitchen, dining and living space, contained in it’s own private, fenced in area. A pull out couch allows for a maximum of 4 adult guests to dwell in the Guest House comfortably. There are 4 off-street parking spaces and a front yard for relaxing and outdoor games. Both houses offer beach essentials (chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler).

We been coming to the Saugatuck/Douglas area as a family for close to a decade. We love it in the Summer and Fall months, but it’s a wonderful place all year long! Oval Beach is special. The towns are quaint and full of great dining options, shops and art. Minutes away are great breweries, fruit picking farms, hiking and biking trails. All you would need to have a relaxing time away but plenty of options to keep you busy. We would be more than happy to provide all our recommendations and favorite spots in detail upon inquiry!

Situated between Lake Michigan and Lake Kalamazoo, our property is perfectly positioned for all your needs. Walk or drive to the beach in under 5 minutes. Drive or bike into town in a similar amount of time, or take the only remaining chain ferry in the US right into downtown Saugatuck (0.9 mi walk).
