Beautiful waterfront cottage with the conveniences of home in central Maine.

If you are looking for a great vacation spot in central Maine, look no further. Enjoy the privacy of this fully-equipped cottage on beautiful Holbrook Pond. Conveniently located near the Bangor/Brewer area, you can either relax and enjoy a canoe or kayak paddle (available on-site) or simply enjoy the location on the deck or by the campfire. For the more adventurist types, you can participate in the many amenities available in the area.

In this spot you will be close to many parks and walking trails, golf courses, Hollywood Casino, historic Fort Knox, the Penobscot Narrows Observatory, the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion, and a variety of restaurants and shops. A short drive east will bring you to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and scenic Downeast Maine. For the more outdoor types, a drive north will bring you to Baxter State Park and Mount Katahdin.

Close to Bangor International Airport, you can fly in and rent a car, or bring a car or camper and park on-site.

This property is well-decorated, has plenty of reading materials, games, and supplies for cooking. The view is awesome, nicely arranged outdoor seating areas for eating, campfire, relaxing, and taking in the scenery.

We found this to be a very comfortable and relaxing cottage. Off the beaten path, but very easy to find. Feet from the lake and beautiful scenery - a short drive to Acadia / Schoodic. Would highly recommend this place.

My family wanted a peaceful Maine vacation on a pond. We were very blessed to have found the perfect cottage with the most amazing views overlooking the water. The cottage itself was extremely clean, very well stocked, decorated beautifully, and had so many amenities, including a dishwasher and air conditioning - both a rarity in a Maine cottage. The hosts were kind and very gracious. Given the chance, my family and I would not hesitate to rent again next year.

The cottage was beyond lovely. It is clean and filled with little touches that make the cottage a perfect home. I particularly enjoyed the use of the kayak, fire pit, wi-fi and dock.

We enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful location. Great dock, kayak, canoe, fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Several living areas where we could spread out and relax. The view of the lake from the front room was amazing. Two nice decks and outdoor furniture. Just wish there had been a bedroom downstairs near the bathroom. But, we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful two weeks at Holbrook Pond

We go to Holbrook Pond every year but this was our first time at John and Martha’s camp and we couldn’t be happier. The location and views are wonderful, the house is clean, comfortable and has everything you will need and the hosts are welcoming and available if you have questions. Overall a terrific stay in a beautiful place with terrific hosts. We will be back. Thank you John and Martha!

Perfect spot

Adorable cottage with an amazing view of the pond. Main floor very spacious, large kitchen, adorable decor with attention to detail. Set up to have a fire in the wood stove or outside right next to the pond. So relaxing and cozy! Owner is in main house next door and came and introduced himself when we arrived. Just the right amount of off the beaten path but still convenient to Bangor and local shops. We hope to return!

Great place for a family vacation!

Very nice property and location to multiple Maine attractions. The view of the lake is amazing. Had plenty of room for our family of 5 and guests that visited us during our stay. The kitchen offered plenty of space to prepare meals. Would stay here again in the future. The owners were super nice and made sure we had what we needed during our stay. There is a charcoal grill there which is a plus. The Wi-fi signal is weak, but we were on vacation so we survived.
