Sixteen Sandals is a three-floor, four-bedroom home in the heart of Surf City — sleeping up to ten, with an elevator connecting every level, sound views from multiple decks, and the kind of details that show someone actually thought about what families need: a whale-themed bunk room that kids immediately claim as their own, a Nespresso and coffee bar setup that adults claim just as fast, seating for eight at the dining table (and 4 at the counter), eight parking spots, and a cornhole set waiting under the string lights on the ground floor patio.
The sound shimmers from the third floor front deck. The ocean breeze finds the second floor. The swing is moving. Sixteen Sandals is what a family beach trip is supposed to look like.

An outdoor shower handles the salt and sand. The elevator starts here too, making arrival with luggage, groceries, or anyone with mobility considerations completely effortless.
Second floor: The heart of the home — open-plan living, dining, and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a coffee bar stocked with a Nespresso Vertuo, French press, and drip setup. The dining table seats eight comfortably (ten cozily), with a granite bar adding four more seats. A sectional sofa with a game-table ottoman, Smart Roku TV, and a full library of cards, games, puzzles, and books makes rainy days feel like a bonus. The second floor King Beachcomber bedroom has its own access to the shady back deck — perfect for the light sleepers who need their own quiet corner. A hall bathroom with double vanity serves this level.
Third floor: The crown level. The King Heron Suite anchors this floor — a proper master with walk-in closet, private en-suite bath, sitting area, and direct access to the third floor back deck for morning sun and solitude. A Coral Queen bedroom and a whale-themed bunk room (double over double) share access to the third floor front deck, where the sound stretches out in both directions and the ocean breeze finds you regardless of the time of day. A hall bath with tub and shower serves this level. Washer and dryer on this floor — no hauling laundry up and down.
Outside: Three distinct deck experiences, a ground-floor entertainment patio, private beach access less than a block away, a community canal dock 200 feet from the front door for SUP or kayak launch, electric golf cart charger on site, and parking for eight vehicles.

Please don't park on the property before check-in or after checkout. Unapproved late departures may incur a $200 fee.
No pets: Sixteen Sandals is a pet-free property.
Smoke-free: This is a non-smoking property throughout. Smoking inside will result in a $200 deodorization fee.

Family Beach getaway
Sixteen Sandals was very lovely. I appreciate all of the extra comforts of home that they had on hand for us to use. The property was in a great location and convenient to local stores. The owners were easy to get in touch with and super responsive.

Can’t say enough great things!
The check in process was super easy and the location was amazing! The home was clean and well stocked with extras. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was an easy walk to and from the beach! The beach towels, chairs, and cart provided for the beach made everything feel so effortless. The hosts were easy to reach when needed, and super friendly.
We are looking forward to booking again!
