Located in a neighborhood, set behind a privacy wall, and surrounded by banana trees and coco palms in a tropical garden, the cottage and a studio apartment are convenient, practical and pleasant.
The cottage is studio-style, with a queen bed and a couch. A large bathroom and a kitchen equipped with everything necessary for cooking complete the inside picture. Beyond the kitchen, the private patio area with its lush garden captures the fancy of everyone…a natural haven to enjoy meals or just hang out and relax. There is A/C available, as well as ceiling fan. Internet is available.

At the rear of the property is the studio apartment with a terrace looking out on the garden. There is a large kitchen with stove and oven, refrigerator, toaster oven, blender and coffee maker. There are two double beds. The apartment has A/C, ceiling fans, and internet.

These accommodations are especially appropriate for those wanting to soak up some local atmosphere, rather than just spend time with other tourists. There are several nice beaches on the Caribbean side of the island just a mere two blocks away. On calm days, the reef just offshore beckons with spectacular snorkeling.

Oasis Escondido Studio is located about mid-island, making transportation convenient and inexpensive. Other island destinations are also less expensive to get to from here than from town.

There are numerous small family-owned tiendas for buying needed food and household supplies, and also panaderias, tortillerias, and fruit and vegetable stands in the neighborhood and close by. One can also enjoy snacks and comida corrida at several little restaurants in the area. The new Chedraui Supermarket is walking distance, as is Mango Cafe and several other neighborhood restaurants, such as Brisas Caribe, Sushi By Limon
