When the Sun Shines, this place soaks it up! It's sunny here far more often than many places in Western Washington.
- THIS IS A 2 STORY HOUSE - The whole house is divided into TWO SEPARATE UNITS - NO STAIRS INSIDE TO CONNECT UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS - NOT THE SAFEST ARRANGEMENT FOR PARENTS UPSTAIRS WITH CHILDREN DOWNSTAIRS - Each separate unit can be booked individually, but we don't (usually) book both at the same time for a lower price due to arguments about which unit was making the most noise that disturbed the other unit.
- Can Sleep 12 People - Standard Beds for 10 People - Floor mattresses for 4 More People
- It will be tight if you max out the number of guests - 2 Regular Sized Bedrooms (queen beds)
- One good sized Bunk room with 3 twin beds (bunk bed plus single twin) - Access to good sized Bunk room through bathroom or door to outside
- 1 Tiny Bedroom with 3 twin beds (bunk bed plus single twin) - Access to Tiny Bedroom is through the shower/bath room...there is a door for privacy, but you will have to negotiate access to the room with the person who may be taking a shower.
- Lots of large screen ROKU TVs. NO CABLE TV. - FAST RELIABLE INTERNET - THERE IS NO TV IN THE LIVING ROOM UPSTAIRS, it would take away from the views, but each bedroom has large ROKU TVs.
We have 2 Queen Size Mattresses to lay on the floor. We also have a fold out bed frame for a queen mattress, but we found nobody used it, they just put the mattresses on the floor.
ALL BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE according to reports by MOST people but not all.
- Upstairs shower has double shower heads!!! - Downstairs shower is nice too, plenty of water pressure. - Unlimited hot water.

- Main heating is by a gas fireplace in upstairs and downstairs. They warm the units quickly. - Electric Wall Mounted Heaters Upstairs - Portable Electric Oil Heaters Downstairs
Guest Access: The entire house is exclusively yours including the upper deck.
Shared Space - There is a grassy lawn and patio between the building and cliff side fence for shared enjoyment by your hosts and other guests which may also be staying on the property.

ROAD NOISE: We do have some road noise. MOST guests barely notice it. SOME guests do have issues with it. If you are highly sensitive to noise or can't stop focusing on it, then this is not the place for you. We rarely notice it. It is the worst when standing outside in the drive way and trying to have a conversation. But inside of the units, out back enjoying the amazing views, which is where most people spend most of their time, most people don't even notice it. It is barely audible.
YOU WILL HEAR SOUNDS FROM THE OTHER UNIT: Downstairs you will hear upstairs people walking and scraping sounds of furniture when it is moved. Upstairs you will hear voices from downstairs.
Interaction with Guests: - We are available by phone and in person onsite. - We will send you our business text number for most non-urgent questions and issues. - We will send you our individual private number for urgent emergency usage.

Beautiful setting - operational issues
The setting was absolutely beautiful and serene—definitely the highlight of our stay. However, we encountered several issues that affected our experience. We were charged for a unit we didn’t have access to, including a cleaning fee for that unit. Some items in our actual space were broken, including shower plumbing, and there were delays with the internet. The coded locks didn’t work initially due to a malfunction with the host’s software for the 2nd unit which made check-in frustrating for our family which limited us to usage of one unit. The host was unprofessional in corresponding with our concerns through written messages. We rented one unit for two days and one unit for one day - upon checking on the 2nd unit we were unable to access the send unit due to software issue. After that there was no communication with the host who we were told after the fact the manager was across the street. If the manager was across the street it would have been nice with issues checking in that they assist us in getting into the unit. Overall, a gorgeous location with potential, but the operational issues need to be addressed.

EXTREMELY INACCURATE REVIEW. Claims of unprofessional communication is a HUGE INSULT. We have a complete record of helpful, courteous interactions with this guest. Our many positive reviews speak for themselves and reflect the quality experience we consistently provide. I spent at least an hour helping this guest by phone, text messages, and email, patiently and professionally answering questions, many of which were already addressed in our listing and prior messages.
Guest initially wanted to book two units for both nights even though she only needed second unit on second night of her stay, instead I helped her save money and guided her through making two separate bookings. As a result, she received two automated messages with different door codes; 1 for upstairs and 1 for both units. On day two we got a message from guest asking for door code, so Shyni met her in person and helped her enter the unit. Shyni told guest she was staying onsite available 24/7. I followed up by both SMS and email with clear instructions that explained why the troble with the door codes and gave the correct code AGAIN, TWICE.
Regarding the so-called broken items, the guest never reported any issues—despite having multiple ways to reach us and speaking with Shyni directly during her stay. The shower was working and continues to function properly. As for internet issues, we use high-speed broadband. IF it was slow, it would have been a rare event. It was working throughout her stay.
