Riverside Calm, an entire house for you directly on the Maumee River.

Located in historic South Toledo, this charming and newly renovated 1917 Craftsman structure that sits on a hill going down to the river, has hardwood floors, an open-concept kitchen/ dining/ living room, new Whirlpool/Electrolux appliances, and a multitude of vintage features. You will have complete access to this 2 story home with 2 large balconies overlooking the Maumee River.

There are two 2 bedrooms, both on the lower level - one with a king bed, sofa bed, and another with a trundle bed. With 2 bathrooms equipped with a shower, bathtub, and hair dryer, guests will feel right at home.

A peaceful retreat with heating, AC, WiFi, and washer/ dryer, this picturesque property is a great place to call home base while you're away. Romantic, peaceful, and quiet. Once served as a bootlegger's dropoff for Canadian spirits during Prohibition. Close to Toledo Zoo, and quick transit to downtown.

Relaxing Getaway

The property transformed you to a beautiful parisian cottage on the water. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and very inviting. The city maps, bottled water, and labeled instructions throughout were a perfect edition. The only thing missing was a guestbook to sign to write more good things. Thank you!

So many good things to say about our visit to the Riverside Calm! First, the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Second, the home was immaculate and had the most beautiful view of the River. There were plenty of pillows, blankets, and nice quality amenities. It was a wonderful place to chill after a very hectic work weekend. And still very close to downtown.If we ever are back in Toledo, we would absolutely stay here again!Thank you so much, Ana y Bill!

Relaxing space close to fun

This house is well-appointed with plenty of modern touches, loved the furniture and design choices and all the appliances were excellent. It was also stocked with all the little things that don’t think of until you need them, like a can opener. Loved the views of the river too!

Beautiful view

The house was darling, 2 decks overlooking the river were great. The place was very clean!! The only negative we had was the furniture location in the living space was awkward for watching TV. And we had some rainy days to watch TV. But it was comfy furniture. Great location for getting too downtown.

Easter get-together

Beautiful property; very clean; wonderful views of the river both upstairs and downstairs. Close proximity to Toledo zoo makes for an ideal location for summer time visitors.

Family Getaway

Long weekend getaway. Location was an 8 min walk to the Toledo Zoo(spent 4 fun hours here) and a 6 min drive to Imagination Station(spent 3 hours there). We would highly recommend eating at Maumee Bay Brewing Co., Shorty's True American Roadhouse, and Doc Watson's. The house was beautiful, clean and easy to accommodate my family of 4 with beautiful views of the sunrise with a nice cup of coffee on the balcony. The hosts were very helpful with directions during construction, great communication and thoughtful. There is a chiminea in the backyard which was cool to us as first time users. Rocky access to the river to fish, but able to navigate it with balance. Back yard wasn't too kid friendly, difficult to put camp chairs around the fire, rocky and sloped but we had enough activities to keep us busy at the surrounding attractions and with board games inside to have any use for the kids out back. We had a great time and would recommend if you're looking for a comfy home away from home.

Excellent from start to finish.

We recently stayed at this VRBO for 11 days during a difficult time for our family, and I can’t express enough how grateful we are for the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt brand new and immaculate. The cleanliness of the property was by far the best we’ve encountered in our many stays at VRBOs. Ana, our host, was incredibly kind and supportive throughout our stay. She was always responsive and flexible, even providing us with fantastic local recommendations that we perfect. Her hospitality made a significant difference during a tough time. The space itself was perfect for my dad, brother, and me. There was plenty of room for all of us, comfortable beds, and Cold air conditioning. We also enjoyed stunning views and sitting on the deck to unwind. Overall, this VRBO turned out to be a haven for us and helped make the best out of a sad situation. We can’t thank Ana enough for her generosity and attention to detail. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and welcoming place to stay!
