Moss Hill Cottage es elegancia de montaña, todo envuelto en esta cabaña de dos dormitorios y dos baños ubicada en una callejuela tranquila a poco más de 3 millas de High Street Highlands. Todo en un nivel fácil, encontrará un porche de entrada cubierto que se extiende a lo largo de la casa y ofrece asientos cómodos con vistas a un alto bosque de pinos. Todo ha sido remodelado y actualizado para la temporada 2016. La cocina está parcialmente abierta a las áreas de comedor y sala de estar. Comedor con capacidad para 6 personas cómodamente. El salón tiene una chimenea de leña con cara de piedra, TV de pantalla plana y acceso al porche cubierto. El Mst. BR tiene una cama king, TV y ofrece un área separada de lectura / oficina entre el área de dormir y el baño Mst. El dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama queen, TV y comparte el baño del pasillo.

Una pequeña área de patio trasero es donde encontrará la parrilla de carbón y la torre de fogatas y un par de sillas para relajarse. (El área del patio trasero es accesible desde el área de estacionamiento o desde el área de la cocina). El armario de la lavandería se encuentra al lado del comedor.

PUEDEN permitirse mascotas, pero solo a discreción del propietario y con un costo de $ 150. 00 tarifa no reembolsable por mascota. NO fumar dentro.

A great place for a relaxing getaway.

With the rest of our family dispersed in different directions for Thanksgiving this year, my husband and I took advantage of the opportunity to spend our first ever "Thanksgiving for two" in the mountains.. This turned out to be the perfect spot. The kitchen is small but well appointed and had everything we needed to pull together a traditional Thanksgiving meal. The living space with a wood burning fireplace was a great place to read or enjoy holiday football on the flat screen TV. Note - the rental agreement says you need to order your own fire wood, which we did, but the message from the owners inside the home appears to be an offer to share their ample supply. The king bed in the master is VERY comfortable, and the separate sitting /dressing area off of the master with a makeup mirror was a very nice touch. Note- unless you like very firm, very thick pillows, consider bringing your own. The expansive front porch is a great place for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. We far prefer the Weber kettle charcoal grill available here to the gas grills that come with many rentals, and Dusty's on the edge of Highlands toward Sky Valley has fantastic steaks to throw on the grill. Their frozen biscuits are as good as any home made and make a great breakfast treat, so don't miss those. Moss Hill Cottage was just what we were looking for our Thanksgiving getaway, and we are already checking our calendars to figure out when we can return.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The weather was cold but we enjoyed it. We took advantage of all the things the town of Highlands has during Thanksgiving-The Community dinner, The Tree Lighting, Ice skating and of course the great shopping the town provides, plus the great restaurants. This home is easy to get to and has all the amenities one would need. It is very clean and well taken care of.

It is a very clean house and things are very organized. IT had plenty of towels and be sheets. We used the Weber grill many times to grill out. The porch is great to go out in the mornings and have breakfast. A very pretty overlook into the yard and a meadow across the street. we were able to take a walk and not worry about traffic. The neighborhood is very quiet as well.

Cute old cabin

Our stay was lovely in this clean, comfortable old cabin. I had some trouble communicating with the receptionist at Chambers Realty. She couldn’t open the signed contract via email so we mailed it and she couldn’t find it in the mail. There was no sense of urgency on her part to resolve the issues. It was strange.

Great house!

We stayed 2 nights for Fall Break . The house was cozy & very clean! No frills house, but had everything we needed to enjoy. It rained the whole weekend but we made the best of it by bringing board games, reading and relaxing. The only potential critique is that the towels that were hung in the master bathroom smelled bad like they could use a good bleaching. However we just pulled a few fresh towels from the hall closet and we were fine! Hall closet towels were new, bright white and soft. Overall great stay, thank you!

Friends/Couples Weekend

This property was well-cared for and accurately represented. It was a rainy weekend, so we were not able to use the charcoal grill or the fire pit on the back "patio," but the ample covered front porch gave us some outside space for morning coffee. The cute and cozy décor made the small living area inviting, and we played cards at the large dining table and enjoyed a movie in front of the wood-burning fireplace. I would stay there again. The bed was comfortable enough, but cramped quarters in the spare bedroom. Clean and close to town.

We had a very nice stay at this two bedroom cottage. The porch was awesome and the home was in good condition for an older cottage but has been updated. The weather was great the location is only a few miles from town. We would book this again.
