The Sand and Sea is Seaside's premier beach front condo resort right on the Promenade. Step out the resort's front door and stroll the ocean front promenade or walk to local shops. Managed by Cascadia Getaways for professional and responsive support when you need it.



The Space:

Building Notice: Sand & Sea Condos will be undergoing essential exterior structural repairs on select sections of the building January through October.



Guests may experience visible construction activity and noise during the daytime.



These updates are focused on maintaining the long-term safety and beauty of our oceanfront property — thank you for understanding as we care for this classic Oregon coast landmark.



Please note that construction in the area is currently anticipated to be completed by 1/31/27. Construction activities are expected to pause from 7/1/26–9/8/26. During this period, there may still be visible signs of ongoing building work, and portions of the property surroundings may appear unfinished.

Guest Access:

Starting June 1st through September 8th, 2026, only one parking pass will be issued per reservation due to limited parking availability.

Covered garage guest parking is reserved only for guests displaying a valid handicap placard. All other guests are required to park in the lot across from Sand & Sea.

Guests may continue to use the loading zone across from the office upon arrival to unload their vehicles but must move and park in the designated lot across the street afterward.

Other Things to Note:

The Sand & Sea Condo building will be undergoing construction between Mid January and Mid August. Expect construction noise during the day.

Smoking is not permitted inside the unit or anywhere on the property, including cigarettes, marijuana/cannabis, vaping devices, e-cigarettes, and other smoking substances. A $250 fine will be charged for any violation of this policy.

Property does not have AC, but does have floor to ceiling windows to let in the ocean breeze!

Up to two dogs allowed with additional $100 pet fee (No cats allowed)

WiFi and cable TV included

Guests must be 21 years old to book (a parent or guardian must accompany minors)

Damage waiver fee included in the booking price

Commercial activity including filming are not permitted.

Everyone was friendly and attentive. I appreciated the frequent check ins making sure we were enjoying our stay. They even checked in during the storm, ensuring we were prepared. The kitchen was well stocked and was a pleasure to cook and dine in. There were plenty of pillows and towels. I loved the balcony. It was a wonderful stay.

Spacious and Exactly As Expected

We received many helpful communications before and during our stay. The property was exactly as expected, which we always appreciate. The only difference is in how pleasantly surprised we were at how spacious it is. Thanks for the great experience.

Reasonably priced spacious condo with lovely windows!

Super satisfied with the quality of this place for what we paid! Despite the south facing windows, we still had a lovely view of the ocean with the floor to ceiling wall of windows. The kitchen was great to cook in with the large island and high powered dish washer. Loved that they had extra blankets supplied. Would love to stay again next time we are in Seaside! Being right on the boardwalk and a block from the Main Street, location couldn’t be better.

This was our third visit and continue to enjoy our stay. Minor comment, there were no liners for waste basket. Fire place quit working; however, the maintenance person responded quickly and fixed the problem. Will be returning next year. Gary

The site description (and photos) plus its ideal/gorgeous location hooked us... sadly the reality was less than advertised, First, we needed an elevator for one of us with limited mobility; we communicated this ahead of time. Of the two elevators, only one was operating when we arrived. And then that one stopped working two days before we checked out. The front desk staff are wonderfully helpful, but there wasn't much they could do since they were waiting for technicians to repair even the first one. It felt like sheer negligence. Thank goodness we could manage on floor 3 (with difficulty) going up/down the outdoor stairs; felt sorry for those on higher floors. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED AN ELEVATOR or can't haul your stuff over many flights of stairs. We did like the kitchen. WiFi great. The other furnishings were OK; the Goodwill lamps added an unnecessary shabbiness. The open living, dining, kitchen lovely floor/celing large windows and terrace with beautiful views were cheapened by very old, dusty, shredded curtains. The balcony had only one outdoor end table and chair. We didn't want to lug the dining chairs so we rarely used that space. The primary bedroom's very worn window blinds weren't clean. The doors (off the entrance hall) had chipped/peeled/paint adding yet more to the shabby feel. We can only assume that the other units in the complex are similar. For such a beautiful location, the friendliness of service, and the high price we expected more.

Unfortunately, both elevators were in regular operation before your arrival, and when one went down we had a repair tech onsite within 24 hours. This was an unlucky coincidence, not neglect, but we completely understand how it could color the rest of your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the on site team, kitchen, Wi-Fi, and those floor-to-ceiling views. The furnishings, curtains, and balcony setup are exactly as shown in our recent photos, but we’ll take a closer look to see where a refresh can make the space feel even more inviting. We hope future guests take comfort knowing our team and building staff act quickly to resolve any hiccups and are always here to help make their stay as smooth as possible.
