Welcome to this charming home in Kooskia. This fantastic property boasts 3 cozy bedrooms, including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. With amenities like heating, AC, WiFi, and a washing machine, guests can relax and unwind in this wonderful space. Enjoy the creek just steps from the back door. There you can enjoy watching Salmon and Steelhead swim by (depending on the time of year) float on a tube for hours, or watch the many different birds that call it home. The hillsides surrounding are home to Deer, Elk and Pheasant. Relax in the evenings by the cozy fire pit, or inside by the wood burning stove on those chilly nights.
This is a great place to relax, unwind and make great memories!

We had a great stay! The creek was wonderful to wade in, and the host provided a couple of floaties great for lounging (the umbrella stand in the creek gave us laugh and was very effective)! We enjoyed the sunsets and did lots of puzzles and games on the porch. Only tip for future travelers is we did not have cell service at the cabin - so make sure you have the key code saved on your phone before leaving Kooskia!

Love the house. Honestly has everything you need except your food and there is a grocery store within 10 minutes of the house. Water was great, firepit is nice. Everything was great, except we went during fire season so the air was smokey. Still amazing long weekend trip to unwind.

Kooskia hideaway

An excellent place to stay when you want to get away. The creek in the back of the home will lull you to sleep after enjoying kooskia’s outdoors. The house is setup well and has plenty of space.

Spring Break Getaway

We had a delightful two night stay! My kids 10 and 8 loved getting up early and walking right out the door to fish each morning. I loved the coziness of the fireplace and comfy couches. A wonderful time was had by all and we can't wait to stay again!

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in the mountains, this is your place! There’s nothing better than the sound of the creek and being about to live entirely outside for a few days. There was everything inside you could need from local coffee to towels and comfy couches and beds. The kids and dogs enjoyed this as much as we did!

This was the perfect place for us to get away. Private and serene. There was everything you could possibly need here and it was very clean. Loved the totally fenced in yard to allow our dog to be off-leash. We grilled, we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows at the fire bowl. We floated down the creek. Took siestas in the hammock, played games. Parking was right to the door and town was 4-5 miles away. We saw wildlife, and all the sweet hummingbirds were everywhere! Such a wonderful stay...we will be back!

Wrestling match

The view was amazing. They left some meat if needed and kitchen is spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The outside accommodations are very appealing and a lot of comfortable perks to make your outside time more relaxing. Thank you again and are dog loved it too.

Beautiful piece of nature

The owners made it really nice and welcoming for our Family! Even our service dogs had fun because everything was fenced in. The view to the river and mountains was amazing! We wasn’t too lucky with the relaxing atmosphere the whole time because of the Neighbors had some loud and noisy renovations going but that was bad luck for us and future guests shouldn’t be bothered by this. Our stay was from the 4-28. to the 5-04-25 not a day earlier as it says on this site. Thank you again to the Owner for sharing their beautiful home with us!

We love the outdoors, we enjoy going to hot springs, fishing, hiking, spending time with family and friends. This place has brought us a lot of joy. We hope you feel welcome in our home and get a chance to explore all the great things that this place and surrounding area has to offer. But most of all just to relax!

We love this area! We fell in love with this place because of the year round creek that runs right in our backyard. So much to see and do not only at our place but within short drives you can be at the Clearwater river, many great bars and restaurants, the cute little bakery in downtown Kooskia. So many hiking trails, Atv and motorcycle trails, fishing, hunting, and rafting. If you feel like going on a little further drive you can explore many different Hot springs like Jerry Johnson hot springs or red river hot springs up by Elk city. Also a must do is white water rafting in Riggins Idaho! The list is endless of things to do and explore.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We think the sound of the creek running 24/7 is probably our most favorite thing, and to have it so close with easy access. This area is rich with Native American history where Chief Looking glass and his band camped up Clear Creek near here. Just a few miles down the road you have the middle fork of the Clearwater river for fishing, tubing, kayaking and swimming.
