Great Ski Weekend

Place was as advertised. Clean and well located an 8-10 min walk to the base of South Ridge. Nice hot tub and deck and plenty of towels and linens. A couple pieces of furniture could use an upgrade but overall a great stay. Would definitely return. Communication with host / owner was fantastic and easy.

Great location

The property had plenty of space and was located right in the heart of the resort. The hosts were easy to get a hold of to answer any questions and overall we had a very pleasant stay. Would highly recommend a visit to Sunday River for fall festival.

Great Hosts

Our plans changed at the last minute and we needed to add an extra night. The hosts were very flexible and responded immediately to our needs. The house was perfect for 5 families of cousins to attend a Sunday River wedding. We loved our stay.

Relaxing Stay

I Can’t say enough about this property! It was a great place for some old friends to reunite and get together. VERY CLEAN! No bugs, nice fires, great hot tub and clean clean clean! Awesome communication with owners. If you’re thinking about this or on this fence: just do it. If you need fire wood it’s about two miles down the road at Savage brothers. Everything is near you if you need it. Smart tip: before you go buy everything you’d need, take a look around in the garage, it’s probably already there!

Fall Family Getaway

Property was everything we expected! Very clean and cozy. Lots of great hiking trails. The only improvement suggestions would be better tv/WiFi and some of the mattresses needed replacing. Overall would give this property a 4 star review!!

Great time

We had an awesome time during our stay. The home was great. Plenty of room. Loved the 3 levels and decor. Plenty of privacy. Great area for hiking, tubing. What a nice relaxing atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go again in a heartbeat. I can’t imagine what it’s like in the winter. Hot tub was awesome also !!!

Perfect house for a weekend Getaway with a Group of Friends

We loved our stay at Sunday River and the house was the perfect place for our weekend getaway with friends. It is very spacious, has great garage to store ski and snowboard equipment. All rooms are very well equipped and the hot tub was a great alternative for the ones not hitting the slopes. I'd certainly book this house again for another trip. It has everything you need for a great stay at Sunday River.

Perfect Ski Weekend with Family

This property is great, a very short way to the lodge and five good size bedrooms, Kids skied everyday and we played games and cooked together. Very well appointed, we had everything we needed to cook, serve and seat a crowd. We gave the w/e to our kids and grandchildren and a special neice and her child as a Christmas gift. Great Family Time.

Comfortable and roomy home

The home was perfect for us, very warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided and the kitchen was very well equipped. The book the owners left with general information was very helpful. Our visit was over Thanksgiving and it was fun making our dinner there and eating it on the large picnic table. The only thing I wasn’t able to find was a potato masher. The hot tub is great!

Great House !!!

Great place to stay, this was our second trip up to this mountain house during the summer for a canoe trip down the Adroscoggin. Scott is great, and makes sure everything is setup perfectly prior to your stay. the house is very comfortable and needs nothing. Would recommend this stay to anyone. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Beautiful Home in a Perfect Location

This beautiful home was perfect for our Summer getaway. The home has been clearly renovated by someone with a great eye for detail. It has all the comforts of home. The kitchen/dining area is spacious and very well stocked with dishes and cutlery. The living room is beautiful and has a deck that looks into the woods that are full of wildlife. The teenagers enjoyed the tv room downstairs and gave the xbox a workout! The master suite is stunning and also has a beautiful view. All of the bedrooms were reported to be comfortable and well stocked with blankets pillows and towels. The home has a one car garage and plenty of parking in the driveway. It was a bit warm upstairs (MidJuly) but there are fans to help everyone keep their cool. The location is perfect as it is only a few minute walk to the South Ridge Lodge and there are several restaurants close by. I communicated several times with the owner Scott and and he helped make our stay outstanding. We can't wait for next year's New England Forest Rally and hope to rent this home again!

A perfect weekend getaway!

This HomeAway from home provides all the comforts of home in a beyond perfect location! Just a short walk away from the South Ridge Lodge, you can't find a better location for a quick ski weekend! Unfortunately, we had well below zero temperatures during our visit, making the skiing conditions less than ideal. Luckily this home was close to miles of cross country and snow shoe trails, as well as Bethel area shops and restaurants, where we could stay warm through the chilly days. When we eventually made it back to the house we 'fired' up the electric fireplace and played one of the many board games. I can't wait to come back to this amazing mountain home with a group for an even longer trip!!!! Definitely an incredible spot for groups and couples alike!

We are born & bred Mainers who love the outdoors and all of the seasons that Maine has to offer. We purchased this property as a renovation project to sell, but we fell in love with the charm of the home and proximity it affords to all that we love, so we kept it :-) We have completely updated the home and continue to add amenities and charm to this fabulous property.

This home has all the interior charm of a classic Maine post and beam (lots of wood). Though it has 3 levels of living with 5 bedrooms it still retains that "cabin" feel. Rustic wood and iron furnishings adorn the interior and the 2 fireplaces make you want to cuddle up for a movie, ball game, or afternoon nap. A 5-6 person hot tub adjacent to a rustic fire pit is the perfect to relax in after a long day enjoying the Maine mountains. Within walking distance to South Ridge Lodge, you can skip the hassle of parking. If you have a seasons pass or lift ticket, just walk to one of the access paths on Greenbrier Rd, throw on your skis and hit the slopes to South Ridge Express lift or the Chondola!
