We stayed here for 28 days while my sister was undergoing cancer treatment at Moffitt, and this house was exactly what we needed during a difficult month.The location was fantastic. Moffitt was only about five highway exits away, making daily trips for treatment easy. Winn-Dixie, Sam’s Club, Publix, and other shopping were also nearby, which was especially helpful since we needed to limit our time out.The house worked incredibly well for someone recovering from treatment. The tile floors made it easy to keep everything clean and maintain the precautions we needed. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms were a requirement for us, and having both made things much easier.The kitchen had everything we needed, and the owners even provided a vacuum and Swiffer for our extended stay. The HUGE washer and dryer were greatly appreciated! The garage was another big plus, especially the second refrigerator.The neighborhood was clean, quiet, safe, and beautiful for walks, and the neighbors we met were genuinely friendly. We couldn't use the pool due to treatment restrictions, but enjoyed sitting beside it.What really stayed with us was the kindness of the owners. When they learned why we were there, they dropped off a gift for my sister. It was completely unexpected and meant more than they probably realized.After 28 days, this truly felt like our temporary home. We are incredibly grateful we found it and would absolutely recommend it, especially for an extended stay near Moffitt.
