Of all the VRBOs I've stayed in, this has been by far my fav! It is adorable, so clean, and you cannot beat the view. Janice was amazing and attentive when needed and the place was stocked with anything we could have needed. And there is a gas station and a Walmart within walking distance. I LOVED IT and I cannot wait to go back!

We have stayed at 4 different condos on this property. This was, by far, our favorite!! Our host was very gracious, even leaving a small welcome bag. We come to the Island 3-4 times a year. We will definitely book here again!!!

Beautiful and charming

This unit is on the second floor. It’s across the street from the beach. Requires a short walk out of the complex to get there. Great views. Decorations were lovely. Kitchen was adequately equipped. Property manager was friendly and responsive. No complaints.

The Best Spot!

Unit was the cleaniest and one of the nicest that i have rented at The Dawn. Beautiful furnishings. It was a great first beach experience for my Granddaughter. She loved it.The only issue we had was the dryer was so loud, I only ran it at night. Also the sink drain in the bathroom wouldn't close. I wear hard contacts and needed to be sure they wouldn't wash away.

Very Nice Stay

4 out 5 because nothing can be perfect. The condo was very clean and had all of the necessities. Really the only negatives were minor and not from neglect by Janice. The slider didn’t really lock but it’s a 2nd floor balcony so not much of an issue. The batteries in the LR TV remote were dead but that’s something you can’t foresee. The occupants above were a bit noisy with we assume kids running across the floor at 5:30a but you can’t choose your neighbors. Nothing really to fault the stay. For the positives, the furnishings were very nice and well maintained, the bathroom and shower were very clean and the little “extras” were very thoughtful. The view of the beach from the balcony was good and peaceful with privacy from the units around us. We would recommend this as a very nice place to stay for weekend getaway.

Galveston vacation

Very clean , orderly condo ,had everything we needed for 5 night stay. Sat on balcony drinking our morning coffee relaxing watching watching the ocean & beach . Also , the 2 swimming pools & hot tub were very clean & well kept .

Can’t wait for our next visit!

We just got home, and I already booked our next day in August. Everything was gorgeous, the view was amazing to wake up to. Everything we could have needed was supplied. The only one thing that I wished, but is the most minor thing, we wanted to open the windows in the bedroom at night and we couldn’t. But there’s a beautiful balcony, and I’m definitely not complaining, just maybe making a suggested.

Perfect, Carefree Getaway

Janice was very responsive and you can tell she took extra time making sure we had what we needed and making it look nice. There were so many cute beach details throughout each room. Between toiletries, kitchen utensils, and even small crabbing nets and flashlights to borrow, this condo was the most well stocked I have ever seen. She even left a folder of maps and brochures to help us find attractions in the area. The view was perfect and the beach was just a short walk across the street. This is the only place I have ever stayed where I felt like the cleaning fee was actually worth it and used appropriately. Typically when I check out of a rental there is a laundry list of things for the guests to do, but Janice said to leave as is for the cleaning staff. I would definitely recommend this to others and stay again.

Great property

This was such a clean, comfortable place to stay. So many amenities are included which made it so nice. We really appreciated the washer and dryer during our stay. Its in a great location to everything. The weather wasn't nice when we were there so we didn't get to use the pool area but it looked very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
