The place was wonderful we purchased potholders. It appears it was the only item missing from the kitchen and we need to get the baking stuff out of the oven but overall wonderful location, price ,and comfort . awesome we can’t wait to do it again.

Cute little place!

We enjoyed our stay, and we loved the “vibe” of the space and the surrounding buildings. Great coffee shop across the street.

Wonderful stay at the Cozy 1BR

From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The space was exactly as described—comfortable, well-maintained, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. Exceptional host— Madeleine made sure everything was smooth from check-in to check-out and was always available if I had any questions. The home had all the necessities included, which made my stay incredibly convenient and stress-free. The kitchen was well-stocked, the linens were fresh, and everything was spotless and well-organized. It was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. The location in Athens was great—easy to get around while still offering a peaceful place to relax. Perfect for my quick business trip to the area. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Madaline’s Cozy 1BR Home to anyone visiting Athens!

Very chic in the mill section

Great one bedroom apartment! Very chic building. Up and coming area. Closest attraction was Normaltown Brewery. Close to downtown. Great communication with host due to special requests. Will stay again if opportunity arises.

The apartment was adorable! It was perfectly clean and had lots of natural light, with high ceilings complete with fans. The full kitchen was nice, although we did not use anything but the refrigerator, which had a Brita pitcher inside. This was much appreciated during such hot weather! Parking was easy and always available, and pretty much everything in Athens is only a few minutes away. It ended up being less expensive than a hotel, and we appreciated the privacy and space.

So-So Experience

We reached out to the booking email twice—you really need to provide your guests with immediate contact information since our fridge stopped working on Saturday and we had to throw out all the food we planned to give to our son. Read below…we would appreciate a response back: We sent a message last night and hadn’t heard back. We’ve checked out, but wanted to let you know that maybe a breaker tripped because the fridge and that whole wall with the coffee maker power isn’t working. Pretty important to know for your next guests. And, instead of being able to give the groceries to our son we had to throw it all out because who knows how long it wasn’t working. We could never find a breaker box. Some other things to note: -there was no body wash in the shower - you really need more than 3 hangers for your guests so they can hang clothes -not sure if the register in the ceiling in the bedroom pushes out cold air—isn’t it supposed to?!?—but the bedroom gets very, very warm, even when the living room area is cool. While the fan works well, after running for a while it starts making a very noticeable noise, almost like it’s off track. It’s annoying when you’re trying to sleep. -might I suggest purchasing coasters so guests don’t put sweaty drinks on your furniture? The location is great and the unit is cute, but these things made for a less-than 5 star experience.
