On Cypress Point

Beautiful home. Love that everyroom was on the one floor, with privacy in all three rooms. The neighborhood was extremely peaceful, and close to all shoppong and fun things to do.

My pet did not come. The temperature was cold, and the pool level was very low; the water was cold, so did not use the pool.

Spacious Retreat

Overall very happy with stay. House is perfect size, quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed our week. My recommendations: upgrade the master bedroom to a king size bed. And the carpet had a lot of (assuming) pet stains, I would remove it all and stick with tile. I was surprised there wasn’t any garbage bag, our dish soap.Ive used other Vrbo homes before and they even supplied toothbrushes/toothpaste, paper towels, toilet paper etc…

The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. The management was very responsive with questions. The only problem we had was we were not able to use the driveway for 3 days due to someone else’s car in the driveway. The hot tub heater did not work and the pool could have been cleaner. Minor issues.

Upgrades Needed

We loved the location. It was perfect for us. We felt like the home was clean, however, the stained carpets and furniture need to be updated. There were four of us, and we were only given 3 bathroom hand towels and two washcloths. There were two extra blankets left, and they looked old and dingy. We didn't know you had to pay extra for the pool to be heated. The pool was dirty and only had one chair to layout on, which was broken. You also had to pay extra to use the gas grill. We were also not able to use the garage at all. It was locked. It really lacks amenities. The kitchen had dishes, but not enough pots and pans to make a meal. There were 2 dishcloths and no washcloths. We tripped a breaker in the spare bedrooms and were told that they would come and fix it, but that they would have to try and forcefully get into the garage because they didn't have a key. We told them no and went for a day and a half without electricity in the spare rooms.

Don't Believe The Photos!

Good points :House location is beautiful. En-suite shower is excellent!Bad points :House nowhere near as elegant as the photos. Very dark furniture made rooms dark.Only one set of bed linen supplied regardless of how long you stay - and they don't fit very well. We had to go and buy another set of bed linen to save washing, drying and ironing before refitting on the same day. Only one towel per person supplied as well, even for our 4-week stay.No user instructions supplied for kitchen and laundry appliances. Patio had lots of weeds and the paving slabs are loose. Pool was very cold but heating was 40 a day so not worth it!Patio furniture is a joke. One of the chairs has a leg which is 2 inches short as rust has taken the rest of it. I propped it up with 2 pieces of marble from the broken pool waterfall from the hot tub to the pool. Whole house needs TLC - a lot of walls need repainting. A lot of the furniture is stained, as are the carpets, presumably with old pet residues? Lots of hideous paintings and awful twee ornaments.Toilet window in main en-suite needs a blind, as does the bath. Very exposed.Microwave needs replacing (we were told). Very noisy and possibly unsafe.22 forks in the cutlery drawer but only 6 knives! We bought 3 extra to give us enough. But 12 wine glasses!Tried to report a very disgusting find to property manager but eventually they refused to communicate with us. Most unsatisfactory.Note to Vrbo - not enough characters allowed.
