Situado cerca de la entrada de Moonlight en un entorno arbolado privado, este elegante castillo ofrece amplias oportunidades para observar la vida silvestre.  La comodidad, el lujo y la belleza natural reinan aquí.  Ideal para múltiples familias, grupos de amigos / colegas, bodas pequeñas o la escapada anual de chicos / chicas, este albergue de 5,500 pies cuadrados tiene un montón de espacio bien equipado para reunirse o extenderse con estilo.  Mejorado con lujosos acabados, ningún detalle ha sido pasado por alto en Das Moose. Big house in big sky

2 families with 14 adults stayed here. Hosts were accessible and prompt. Location to big sky is very accessible, short ride to free parking and a pickup for access to the base. You can also reserve parking at the base for 50/day through the resort. Beds were comfy, pool table and poker table were used and hot tub was plenty hot and always functioning. Great kitchen stocked with lots of kitchen gear. Great house!

Trip of a lifetime

This place was absolutely amazing. Great location, clean house, tons of amenities, beautiful yard, hot tub, and plenty of rooms for friends/family. We all loved it and can’t wait to go back.

3 families for Presidents' Weekend

This was our second time to Big Sky and first time staying in Das Moose Haus. Everything was perfect for our group and we would absolutely rent this house again. The communication and service was excellent and much appreciated. The theater room was a huge bonus for the children at the end of the day when they were tired - dark, cozy, kept them quiet while the adults hung out. 5 stars all around!

Das Moose Haus was our dreams come true for our family vacation. We were a party of 11 with a variety of ski levels in the party--ages 7-53. EVERYONE had a superb time. The house was awesome! Meghan and the staff at BSVR were superb. No one wanted to leave at the end of our week. Thank you so much. You cannot go wrong with this house. Can't wait to go back!

Family Ski Vacation

We had an amazing vacation. This property is exactly as it is described and pictured. We were a party with 9 adults and 2 small children. The home was extremely well stocked and supplied. With such a large group, we cooked at the home. We had everything we needed, pots, pans, crock pots and everything else to make cooking enjoyable. Bedrooms, blankets, pillows all great. Everything about the process: booking, checking it, etc was super easy. Getting to the slopes was also easy. As a VRBO owner and fairly frequent vacationer, this home is a fantastic place for a family vacation. Seeing foxes and other wildlife was a huge plus. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic

What started 20 years ago as a quick trip for three brothers in search of perfect snow and steep runs has continued to evolve. In February 0f 2017, 11 of us rented Das Moose Haus. Absolute perfection. Every detail was exceptional, from the management company's welcoming visit to the number of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. Nothing was missed. Plenty of beds, large hot tub, pool table, theater room, card table, deck, grill....the list goes on and on. The only items under utilized were the TVs of which there were many. Perfect location, perfect snow conditions and a great time. Looking forward to a return trip. Thank you for having us.

Close to perfect!

Would stay here again in a heartbeat! We take a family ski trip every year and Das Moose Haus is in the top three. Positives: Awesome views that are not apparent in the pictures. House is really nicer than it appears in the pictures. Lots of room to spread out for our group of ten. Great theater room. Comfortable beds. All electronics work great. Well equipped kitchen. Nice large garage for two suburbans and room to spare. Hot tub was wonderful. Two laundry areas were helpful. Snow plows cleaning the driveway and people shoveling the walkways was helpful. Big Sky vacation rental agency was nice to work with. Negatives: (minor) Little hard to find driveway at night in the snow. Directions could be more specific and the "rock sign" with address 1003 was not visible because it was covered in snow. The wooden sign for the house next door is much more visible and it says 10080 as I recall. The entrance is about 75 feet beyond the first sign that mentions Moonlight ski area. Decor is a little dated but adequate. Again, these things are minor and we would go back in a second!

Das Moose Haus need total upgrading, including Air Conditioning!!

Upon arrival, we were attacked in the parking lot by a swarm of mosquitos and when we entered the property, the mosquitoes were there too! We contacted the property management but they said they had no way to eliminate the mosquitoes. We searched Google and found a mosquito eradication firm in Big Sky and suggested that management contact them to have them spray for the mosquitos but management did nothing. Upon entering the property, it was 85 degrees throughout the house. We called management but they said this property had no AC, only heat, and that we should open the windows to let the cooler air circulate inside but we were missing screens in many windows and to open them would have let more mosquitoes inside. So the management team sent down 5 or 6 small fans to help. At night, the ground floor finally got comfortable as did the lower level but the 2nd floor remained very warm day and night and 6 of our group were uncomfortable sleeping upstairs during our entire stay. Overall, it was evident that the property had not been refurbished in quite a while as the ceilings were peeling in some rooms, the handles were off the screens, the faucet in the kitchen was broken (and not fixed while we were there). The ability to grill or use the hot tub was almost non-existant as the mosquitos were rampant. The layout of the house was enjoyable with the presence of 3 king bedrooms for the 3 adult couples and bunk beds for the younger adults. The presence of the theatre in the lower floor and the poker table and pool table were all hits with our younger adults. The layout of the garage apartment was rather peculiar, as the only way to get to it was to go thru the kitchen and then thru the garage to the door leading to the 2nd floor bedroom-there should be a way to connect that bedroom to the main living quarters thru the pario entrance. Overall, out trip to Big Sky over the 4th of July week was enjoyable with the many activities, but the Haus left much to be desired.

Great family spot

This is a great property with room for everyone. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of space. The theater room was a huge hit. The location works but is it a drive to anything. Overall, I would recommend the house.

Weather was very warm. Fans came in handy, but A/C would have been better.

Everything we needed was there. enjoyed the bear walking across the backyard. Some features should be updated. Overall very nice. would recommend to others.

Large home where the 14 of us were very comfortable. Went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. This trip was a graduation gift for Grandchildren. We will be back!

Big Sky Das Moose Haus June 2021

The house was an amazing gem of a place nestled in the seclusion of the mountains, but still a drivable distance to town and activities. The property had an AMAZING view and was above expectations as far as amenities. Most popular were the theater room, hot tub, and deck. We hope to return next year.

Great for all ages and interests

Magnificent! It exceeded our expectations. There was room to spread out, the basement rec room/home theatre was a big hit for all ages. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. Very quick response to a heating problem. We highly recommend Das Moose Haus to all. We definitely hope to return.

We’ve stayed in Big Sky for a family vacation week of skiing, hiking, and family activities. This has been our favorite residence. Spacious with all the amenities and then some. A true gem.

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting

What an incredible property! This was a guy's skiing trip, and the place was perfect for that type of getaway. How's the gorgeous, tons of room, great amenities, and awesome location. Literally the only complaint I have is the advertisement saying it is ski and ski out, it's technically doable, but it's not easy at all. Other than that minor issue, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great House

Great house! Worked really well for our group of eight guys. Very nice pool table, poker table, spa and movie theater downstairs. Parking for skiing is really easy at Madison Base over at Moonlight.
