¡Al abrir las enormes puertas de madera, se lo recibe de inmediato en un entorno de jungla pacífica, cómoda y tranquila, que incluye 3 especies diferentes de monos, aves cantoras, iguanas y todos los sonidos de la madre naturaleza!

Ubicada en la tranquila zona residencial de Rancho Manuel Antonio en Valle Pura Vida, Villa Michelina ofrece paisajes frondosos, estacionamiento cubierto, sistema de seguridad, wifi, gato mágico, todo a 5 minutos en coche de la Playa y
Parque Nacional. todos los restaurantes, tiendas, etc.

Villa Michelina cuenta con unas amplias habitaciones, con mucha luz de alta
techos y ventanas. Aire acondicionado y ventiladores se encuentran en cada habitación. En la planta principal hay un gran comedor con capacidad para 8 con balcón.
con vistas a la piscina. El salón tiene un montón de asientos con pantalla plana
TV, etc. La cocina de granito totalmente equipada se abre a la exuberante planteado
jardín al aire libre con un área cubierta para disfrutar de un desayuno o una cena tranquila

¡hermosa!

Todas las habitaciones se abren a la zona de la piscina, que tiene muchas áreas para tomar el sol. La piscina tiene una piscina para niños poco profunda por encima de la piscina principal, ideal para niños, empapada y leyendo un buen libro. Hay zona de bar y nevera, así como una ducha al aire libre.

Las habitaciones son grandes, están lujosamente decoradas y cuentan con aire acondicionado, ventiladores y cortinas personalizadas. Master tiene una cama king, baño privado, vestidor, televisión y sofá cama individual. Puede ser una cama doble para un niño.

Excellent concierge and cleaning service. We loved the wildlife and pool area. The house is beautiful but needs some maintenance. The driveway was no joke but we got used to it. Overall it was a great stay and we’d go back.

Place was very clean, place is very roomy and we had a great time, we even got to see some wild animals from the pool. Make sure you have a good 4x4 vehicle since driveway is steep. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to see visit costa rica.

The home was beautiful and clean. The AC worked really well. People need to know that there are 40 steps to get from the parking to the home. There are also steps inside the home. We enjoyed the pool. We saw spider monkeys, parrots, iguanas and frogs. One problem we had was there were 2 days we did not have running water. We had to flush toilets and wash with the pool water. We were glad we had purchased extra drinking water for drinking and cooking.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property, it was so close to everything! The house is much bigger than I expected, all of the rooms were very spacious and the living area was huge. There are two full bathrooms and one half bath, all very clean and well stocked. The AC's worked great in all the rooms. The pool was perfect for our family of 5 to enjoy after excursions, and on the last day we were visited by a gang of monkeys and several toucans. It was amazing! I will say, I was scared to death the first time we drove into and out of the house, it was raining and we were still figuring it out. 4x4 is a MUST. But after that first time we didn't have any issues. The concierge service to book the excursions was a HUGE help! Thank you to the team for being so responsive and helpful. We did encounter some bats in the house two of the nights, but were able to shoo them out the front door. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved this villa. It was everything we could’ve hoped for, for a true jungle experience. It was spacious and clean, and we loved all the wildlife we saw right off the back patio! The concierge was super helpful, and everything went very smooth with check-in and checkout. The driveway is steep, but we had no trouble navigating it even in the pouring down rain. We never even had to put our SUV into four-wheel-drive.If I had one single critique, it would just be, to have access to the washer and dryer. With the high humidity, and all of the activities that our family of six did, we always had wet clothes and towels.It was unfortunate that we had to have stuff hanging everywhere to dry, and most things never really did. Other than that it really was a perfect stay!

Perfect Family House

This house was perfect before a family of four. Easy to get to town, beaches, markets. Loved being able to choose whether we wanted to cook in or dine out. But highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

A gorgeous setting!

We truly enjoyed this property and the nature around the yard was amazing. We had monkeys, toucans, lots of other birds and a huge iguana. The only negative was not having access to a washer and dryer, which we missed seeing in the description. Prop manager was excellent

Villa Michelina was incredible. The pool and back deck alone were worth the price - we sat out there and watched birds all day. Swam and watched birds - so amazing. The house is stunning. Only suggestions are that it could use a few more coffee mugs - only 3 and we were 4 people. And some of the rooms had quite a few bugs bc doors didn't fully seal, but was very minor compared to the overall wonderful stay!

Amazing Home & Location

The pictures do not do this amazing villa justice. This was such a luxurious home that made us feel like we were alone in the middle of the rain forest. We loved hanging by the pool, playing games in the large family room / dining area, and there was plenty of space for the kids to spend time on their own in their separate rooms. We did get to see monkeys swinging among trees and playing in the pool water, iguanas, many beautiful birds, etc. The location is SO close to all that Quepos and Manuel Antonio have to offer - what a memorable trip!

Gorgeous house tucked into the hills

Stayed in Quepos in June 2023. The house was hard to access (VERY hard by American standards), and 4X4 is necessary, but when we arrived… so gorgeous! It was like a Balinese mansion rising from the jungle. The pool was perfect for hot days, and toucans and birds were flitting about the backyard our entire stay. The staff were incredibly helpful as well. Can’t recommend enough!

It's a shame to know you didn't like the location, which allows for our guests to enjoy gorgeous luscious greenery as well as amazing wildlife. In the description of the listing it is clearly stated that it's a bit private and that we advise for a 4x4 to be used during your stay.

This villa has seen better days

The location & property are very special. Unfortunately the age of the villa is showing. The villa is not 100% sealed resulting in lizard poop inside. Shower water is unpredictable & sometimes water just start flowing. The pool area is guarded by the house iguana which makes its business on by the pool every day. Yuck!

As mentioned in our description, Villa Michelina is nestled in the heart of the jungle, which means the surrounding wildlife is part of the unique experience. Geckos are quite common in the indoor areas, as they tend to seek shelter in the cooler spaces of the villa. It’s all part of being in such a natural setting! Regarding the pool area, the iguana is indeed a regular visitor, and while it can be surprising, it’s just part of the wildlife in this tropical environment. The communication with the rental company was hands down some of the best I have ever used. They helped us with so many more details and could not have done this without them. This house was in an amazing location which we enjoyed close to town. The house was good size and comfortable. We did not read in the description that we would not have any use of the onsite laundry, unfortunately they were locked and they made no exceptions to help facilitate. We were on our second week and with 76% humidity clothes needed to be tended to so this was super disappointing. I would highly recommend they put the extra backstock in one of the many other locked closets and let guests use the laundry. Towels were also at a minimum. Each bedroom had 2 bath towels and 2 pool towels so there was nothing extra if they got soiled and no way to wash. The house overall is furnished nicely and A/C worked well. Many areas of the house had gaps between the doors, windows and ceilings where critters came in. Each morning we did have to sweep up feces in the corner of the living room which appeared to be coming form bats getting into the broken tiles on the roof which we could see from the carport. We did figure out the driveway ourselves but had multiple shuttles and drivers that refused to come to the house to pick up so we had to hike our luggage up and down the driveway instead. Again not a huge deal but was unexpected. We loved our stay here and can't thank Hazel enough for her communication.

Family Stay

We enjoyed the house. It was well appointed and in a central location between Quepos and MA. The driveway was no joke, but definitely do-able with a 4 wheel drive. Very comfortable home and pool/outside areas. We were. a little disappointed because the description on VRBO said that there was a trail down to the river and waterfall below the house. There was no trail and we were told to go to the bridge we crossed along the way to the house and try to follow the river, but to be careful, etc.... Would be better to not state in the description of the house that this was even a possibility. We are adventurers and chose the house because of this location/proximity to a trail & waterfall. We did enjoy our stay and the hosts were extremely hospitable and helpful. The concierge services offered are also phenomenal.

Unique and special home

My family of 6 (17yoB, 15yoG, 13yoG, 9yoG) had a wonderful stay. The location is really special up and down some steep roads (4x4 required!) but this is a beautiful home up in the rain forest. Morning coffee out on the patio was my favorite. Some days were limited activity in the forest (probably due to rain) but other days (less rain) were super active with birds and monkeys. Both were great! We had some great pool time and the kitchen was well set up as it was easier (and more affordable) to make it at home! Andrey was very helpful re: access and excursions including remembering my daughter is Celiac when booking an excursion with food!

Amazing, peaceful experience. Loved it. Exactly the remote jungle experience we wanted. Fell asleep at night listening to the sounds of the jungle. My wife and our fours kids will always have fond memories of this property. We stayed a week. A note about the road conditions: we had a Toyota Rush with two wheel drive automatic transmission. It was was fine getting to and from the house. I can see how a 4x4 would be better, but from our experience a 4x4 was not necessary. Great time.

Very neat, spacious home with privacy

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was warm and inviting and had plenty of room for our family of 5. A heads up tho, the second and third bedrooms can only be accessed from the outside so something to consider if you have young children. It’s great for people wanting lots of privacy however. We all enjoyed the pool a lot. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There would be some critters that would get in at night but that’s to be expected when you’re in the middle of the rain forest. We weren’t fortunate enough to see monkeys but we did enjoy watching a trio of parrots fly over every day. Hazel made the check-in and out process really easy and she was available for anything we needed. Definitely recommend this property!

Best EVER

There is really no need to look anywhere further. This house was a dream come true. Only four of us and was way too big for our needs but for the price we couldn’t beat it. Our own private pool. All beds comfortable. Two king beds in two separate rooms. Felt like you were truly in the jungle. Monkeys on our porch while we swim. From the moment we walked in the house we were totally taken care of by the staff. If we had one issue come up it was literally resolved within 10 minutes. We arrived here late one night without food and our gal who met us there had food delivered to our house within 30 minutes. I mean seriously could not have dropped up a better place. We cannot wait to come back!!’
