Vida Mejor Poolside is a 2 bedroom townhouse style private salt water pool accomodation in Jamestown Park Holetown within a 3-5 minute walking distance to the beach, to Limegrove mall, to many restaurants, bars, two fantastic grocery stores, banks etc. 1 st and 2nd street Holetown has many restaurants and bars and is in a 5 minute walking distance. The area is safe and is frequented by the green monkey. This is our coolest Villa, a nice tropical pool submerged beautiful tropical gardens comprise of purple patria, white star jasmine, green and purple leahs, christmas Palms, angelicas etc. Add humming birds, fresh spinach and aloe vera and you understand true serenity with natures best.

The properties are amazing, clean, tidy, and in the right location, spot on.

We always try and book one of these villas, they have everything you need, Carlton the manager and Peggy the housekeeper go out of their way to make sure your stay is fantastic!

A great place, great location and great hospitality

We returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in East and West Villa. We loved everything about it, Carlton was there to greet us on our arrival and from then on was on hand if we had any concerns or questions. The villa's are spacious, the pools are lovely and the location makes for a great holiday on a great island.

Wonderful villa , well kept and comfortable.

Great villa, nice size for a family and very well maintained grounds, great view and pool. The inside is quite large and very accommodating, filled with extras, like books, games....The owner was outstanding, and very helpful. I will surely go back

Quiet and relaxing but close to shopping & beach

Everything was as described and very well organized. Pool is lovely. The only thing broken was the air conditioner in the second bedroom.

Real home away from home--GB

A real home from home. The villa was very well equipped and comfortable. It is set in a residential area and very quiet and peaceful. Carlton ,Trisha and Peggy were very friendly and helpful. Car hire is also available at the villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Great location...near beach, shops,resturants...villa layout very nice and spacious. Property manager very friendly and readily available. Some updates needed (larger beds in all rooms, shower faucets, air conditioning noise and cooking pots/utensils, housekeeper duties). Would definitely stay there again

What a fantastic Villa, great location and well looked after by Carlton and his team.

We have just come back from Barbados where we have had a fantastic stay at West Pool. We have been going to Barbados for several years,but have only just discovered Carlton,his team and his great Villas.We will definitely be going back, we have all loved it! Great location and fantastic for us with our 8 year old daughter,she loved the pool. Easy access to Holetown on foot,so whilst we hired a car,we didn't really need one.

Perfect Getaway

Carlton - thanks so much for a wondeful place to relax and enjoy family time. The villa was kid friendly (pool and beach toys too!) and we walked to dinner on the beach every night. I would highly recommend this to couples or families. The car rental worked great - we drove to some great places, the Nature Reserve and Harrisons Cave were our favorites, and the west coast beaches were terrific. We all can't wait to come back!

Beautiful villa

It’s in a perfect location close to beach, shops, bars and restaurants. The bus stop is just around the corner. Beautiful birds in the garden and the occasional visit from the monkeys. Carlton was very helpful and we look forward to going back. Thank you Carlton, Peggy and Sarina for everything.

Great Location, great villa, great staff

This place is 5 minutes walk from the beach, 3 minutes from Limegrove Mall and first & 2nd street Holetown. 7 minutes from the Supermarket, which by the way is a brand new top notch supermarket which was opened in November 2017. Villa has a nice flowing design, the pool is great and bigger than a plunge pool, nice for short laps. Staff all nice. Overall great experience.

This was our first holiday in Barbados. Our party was four people and we all really enjoyed our stay at Lascelles. Carlton was super host and couldn't have been more helpful. East Pool Villa was perfect for our needs. very quite clean and spacious.

Great location,very good villa with pool and very well looked after by Carlton and his team.

This was our second stay at West Pool and we will definitely be going back.The location is perfect for Holetown,it’s restaurants, the new supermarket and Limegrove. A car isn’t really necessary as it’s only a short walk to hop on the Reggae Bus. We did hire a car from Carlton as we like to do an island tour,across to the East Coast . We were very well looked after by Carlton and his team.

Simply amazing villa

From start to finish Mr Jordan and his staff was amazing. Always responsive, rental car was very convenient, the villa was clean and as pictured and had cold water and banks beer waiting on us which is great local beer. The pool was simply amazing to have when you aren't in the mood for sand and the outside shower was handy especially coming back from the beach which is in walking distance. I will for sure return again.

Paridise in Barbados

This was the first trip to Barbados. Much to our surprise was the condo we rented from Carlton. The unit is beautiful and Carlton has been a great person to deal with right from the beginning. A second visit will be a must for the future. Lyle & Sandy

Ideal Vacation Villa

A wonderful place to stay, near to Holetown activity, shopping, restaurants, a comfortable local beach, and yet a peaceful serene oasis to return to in the evening. Carlton is a wonderful host, always present if needed but never intrusive. The Vida Mejor Villa has a lovely secluded pool surrounded by lush gardens; the interior is very spacious and easily accomodated our family of 4 with enough extra space that we never felt cramped. Kids loved the high speed internet. When we return to Barbados, we will without doubt return.

Best Barbados trip ever!!

Carlton made our Barbados holiday a trip of a life time. He was there to meet us at the door with a grand tour of his Waterfall Villa and there when it was our last minute on the island. He also provided us with a rent a car at a value and was there to answer any questions we had about the island. Our accomadations were the best and we would recommend them to anyone! With in walking distance to the town for shopping, dinning and the beach for swimming or relaxing. I would recommend The Waterfall Villa to anybody who wants a beautifully up graded accommodations at a value.

Another fantastic holiday at Vida Mejor Villa

We had another fantastic time in Carlton's villas. We had both the West and East pool villas. It was perfect for a family of 10. The villas are very spacious and accommodated us perfectly. Both are very well maintained and in immaculate condition. They are situated in a quiet neighbourhood, but very hand for the beach, supermarket, bars and restaurants in Holetown. wonderful vacation at Vida Mejor Villa

We have been going to Barbados for the last 5 years and have been staying three years at the same villa, and we will most certainly be going back. The villa is impeccable and has all the comfort you can expect, a beautiful garden gives you privacy to refresh in the pool and the owner Carlton and Peggy take good care of their visitors, always available and making sure we have all that we need. The villa is in Jamestown Park in Holetown, at a walking distance to the beach, shopping center, restaurants and a beautiful chattel village in which you can find real treasures! You will not go wrong if you rent one of the Vida Mejor Villas!

Excellent stay

We spend our Honeymoon at Vida Mejor Villa. Lots of Privacy and very comfortable. Every other day a maid service that is very helpfull and friendly. It is only a short walk to Holetown and the Marine reserve. Everything is taken care of in a friendly and helpfull way and there's is no need to worry about a thing. Beeing Dutch we liked the fact that we got lot's of good quality space, with a private pool, at a much better price then an average hotel room. Go visit the website and enjoy yourself!!!! We will definetely come back.

A fantastic villa in a perfect location, literally home from home and a lot more.

We have just returned from two weeks in the East Pool Villa. The villa has everything you could possible need, it is in a very central location with just minutes walk from Hometown and a variety of restaurants. Venture out a bit further north and discover De Outback restaurant for a taste of real Barbados. And Carlton. thank you for everything it was like staying with a very good friend. Beautiful beaches, endless sunshine and Carlton keep thinking about how to package that sunshine - I'm sure it will sell. ;-)

Perfect Holiday

Carlton, First of all our holiday in Barbados at Vida Mejor was Perfect! The Best Ever! We have been travelling south for 23 years and this Tops them all! Your Villas are emmaculate, clean, spacious, well located -just far enough from the beach to make you walk three minutes per day. The ammenties near by speak for themselves - the grocery store, gas station, bank, post office, and fabluous restaurants, shops etc. We have already booked in for two weeks next year and we are counting the days already. Paradise in Paradise!

This is the 3rd time I have stayed in one of Carlton's houses (Feb. 2005, Feb. 2006, Feb. 2008) and have to say that not only are the properties beautiful and well-maintained; Carlton is also a very pleasant and attentive landlord and makes sure that his guests are happy in his houses. If there is an item a guest feels would make the house more comfortable (like kitchen utensils, CD player, etc) he makes sure that it is provided. It is wonderful to be in a place like Barbados and have the comforts of home to really relax. It is also great not to have to go out for every meal; the well-equipped kitchen is great for preparing meals and the shopping centre is just a short walk away. I will gladly go back, any time.
