Harmony Basement · Lovely Space for a Getaway- 10 minutes to DT Knox

This basement apartment has been recently renovated to make your time in Knoxville memorable. We have put a lot of time into making this space feel more like a home than a rental. This allows you to fully relax and enjoy your time away from home.

The house is close to downtown Knoxville, about 8-10 minutes. It's within 3-5 minutes of I640, I40, and I75. Please reach out if you have any questions and we would be happy to answer them!

Please note that this is unit is part of a duplex. There is another unit located upstairs. You will not share any spaces with the other unit and everything you see represented in pictures is for your use and your use only. Please reach out if you need any further clarification!

You will have access to the house through a keypad lock that allows you a flexible check in time after 4 PM. You will have your own private driveway and outdoor space.

Parking: The driveway can fit 4-5 cars comfortably.

If you are wanting a larger space for your family to stay, we recommend looking for our other "Charming Home" listing and if the dates are available on both, you can book both units!
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10pm - 8am EVERYDAY. If there are noise complaints or any violation of this rule, it may result in cancellation of booking and removal from property without refund and a penalty of $200 for the violation.

STRICT NO-PARTY POLICY
No parties or events/gatherings. If there is a party of any kind the police will be called and everyone will be removed from the property no refunds. No Unauthorized Guests are allowed at the unit, $100 fine per guest if discovered.

No Smoking
Smoking is prohibited without exception on this property. If any signs of smoking are found in the house, a fine of $100 will be imposed, no exceptions.

Pets
Pets ARE allowed depending on size or if they are service animals, max of 2 pets. We have pet fee. If you are bringing a pet(s), please let us know beforehand, otherwise there will be a fine of $100/pet if discovered, no exceptions.

Did the job

We really liked this little basement apartment but our sleep was interrupted throughout the night by the upstairs VRBO tenants walking around. If not for that, it would have been a perfect stay.

Although the place was perfect for a one-night stay for an event we had on Sunday morning, I will say that later that night when cleaning up the kitchen, we saw roaches, a few actually. We also saw a few other critters in the house but that's normal and understandable since it's a basement rental and very close to the woods. However, roaches are a problem because multiple mean an infestation and I don't want to take any home. When I reached out to the host that same night, my message was ignored, which was disappointing. Again, beautiful place, and the decor and design is wonderful but they need to have someone come fumigate the place.

Good stay

Property was very clean inside but there were branches on driveway and vines near sitting area that needed cleaned up. Location was excellent and our stay was good. Some noise from upstairs tenants but nothing out of ordinary for a basement perspective. Rental was decorated beautifully and very clean and spacious enough for 6 guests. We would definitely recommend it to anyone! Thank you!

Cute, but noisy with issues

This downstairs apartment is very cute and the neighborhood is decent. Upon arrival, I contacted the host around 6pm to let her know the fireplace did not work. Again around 11:30pm (and they were loud until well after 1:30am) I sent a message that the upstairs tenants were not observing quiet hours, and I did not expect a response that late in the night. The next morning I sent another message noting that there was mold inside the washing machine that made the entire place stink. I did not hear back from the host until 6pm the following day. Finally, I had to add that the wallpaper had peeled away in one of the bedrooms. Our first night the upstairs neighbors were extremely rude and loud and did not observe quiet hours. If you are a light sleeper, this location is not for you as we could hear every foot step and conversation from those upstairs. The host offered to refund me 50 for my troubles, and I still have not seen that refund despite following up.
