Nice little getaway spot so that we could visit our college student! I was able to make him some home cooked meals during our stay. Very clean and the beds were so comfortable! We are so thankful to have found this quiet little gem of a cabin.

When we arrived, there were large limbs down on the deck to the entrance that seemed to have been there for awhile. The front door was hard to open and close. There was a roach and a ball of human hair on the floor like someone had cleaned out their hair brush. The air vents leak when the ac runs and landed on my head. The vent in the bathroom is covered in mold. There were dirty paper towels u set the bed and bathroom vanity as well as an article of clothing. The futon has a broken leg. There are no window treatments in the living room and the neighbors outside lights shine into the house and blink off and on every few minutes. It felt like torture. The bedding and towels are worn but seemed clean. The floors were very dirty. Wearing shoes at all times is a must. On the bright side, there is a Pac-Man video game in the basement!

The Front door was almost impossible to open. There was little to no furniture to sit on in the living room. Mold in multiple locations throughout the house, with leaks from ceiling. Not a great stay but it definitely has potential just needs some work.

Ruston stay

This was the perfect place to stay for our short time in Ruston. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Marlon was very quick to get back to me about any questions. We will definitely stay here again if we pass this way.

Perfect place for a quick visit

This was the perfect place for our quick visit to Ruston. Perfectly located close to the interstate and downtown. The cottage was clean and ready for us. Check in and out was a breeze. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice place, but could benefit from a few inexpensive upgrades

The little house was nice and I will consider staying there again. The bathroom needs a towel bar, there is only one night stand in one of the bedrooms so the addition of more nights stands would be nice, and dressers in the bedrooms would be very useful as there’s no drawers in either bedroom. The living room furniture was some what subpar, but I didn’t use the livingroom so I wasn’t bothered by that. Finally, as cheap as TVs are these days, it would be nice to have one in each bedroom. This is a personal preference, but I will bring my own sheets next time. The sheets were a fake silky fabric that wasn’t breathable at all and was hot. I know this sounds like a negative review, but the place was spacious and clean and had the basics, but a few upgrades would take it to another level and comfort

The host did not respond with check in details so I had to contact the support center. The actual place was adequate but sparsely stocked. Cleanliness was a B. Wide open windows were great during the day but would have liked to have window coverings at night.

Everything as advertised. Will stay here in the future. Easy check in and host was very responsive to messages. Only thing I would want more would be access to a grill. Thanks for a great stay.

Baseball weekend

Needs basic furniture / fixtures

I think the space could use some basic furniture. One bedroom has a small side table. But not a dresser or anything like that to place items like jewelry, phone, etc on. The other bedroom has a bed and that is it. No side tables, dressers or any type of furniture. You have to put everything on the floor. Again, add a side table and dresser to place jewelry, phones, money, wallet,etc.The bathroom did not have any type of robe hook or towel bars. So, there was nowhere to place wet towels. It is very basic things to improve your space.The living room furniture is very sparse and not comfortable to sit and visit with family. Also, investin some type of blinds or curtains to close at night in the living room. It is wide open and the view is directly looking at the neighbors house. If it was overlooking the back wooded space, I would understand, but it is wide open at night. Anyone outside can see everything inside at night.Overall the space is ok for the price,

Absolutely Horrible

Do not waste your time with these people. They have it set up to wear you need to request in order to book which I sent in and the host has 24 hours to respond which it took almost 36 for them to tell me yes we’ve checked if the cleaners are available you can book this if you’re still interested I said yes because it was the only place we could find for our wedding night due to my husband having work the next morning at 6 o’clock in the morning come the day of the 27th I texted multiple times asking would we be sent a way to access the property to which I did not get a response back at all so by the time our wedding was over we had gone to eat with our family we were absolutely exhausted so we drove home and I get a phone call from a woman named Ariel at 10 PM asking where we still on our way to the property they didn’t see my message it’s been hectic with the holidays they didn’t have a chance to send it I understand that but if you are going to rent your property to somebody on those dates don’t you think it should be a priority to make sure they have everything they need especially when it is the wedding night? She explained to me that we could get it refunded through Verbo or if we chose to stay at separate date they would just hold those days for us since we’ve already paid and I told her I would let her know the day after and she said that’s fine I sent another text saying that we have decided we would like to be refunded for this through Verbo and I have no answer.

All was well. Some type of entertainment system and or curtains in the living room would have really set it off. Other than that, it would have been excellent!!

Convenient and clean

We came to town for a baseball tournament. This property is very close to the sports complex and it is in a residential area that we felt safe in. The house was clean and comfortable. We would not hesitate to book again if we return to Ruston.
