Welcome to the mountains and our charming condo at picturesque Snowshoe!

Located in community of Leatherbark, a short walk from the village, this 2bed/2bath condo is at entry-level (no stairs!) with all the conveniences you need for your time on the mountain.

Condo in the Clouds offers 2 well-appointed bedrooms featuring a master with a king and second bedroom with a queen bed. The master has a bath en suite. Both have plenty of storage!

Conveniences for guests include an in-unit washer & dryer, tub in the master bath and mounted hairdryers.

The cozy living room features an electric fireplace, and offers additional sleeping space with a comfy futon sofa beds. Whether hitting the slopes, the biking and hiking trails or exploring the area, this gorgeous rental is the perfect home base for your getaway.

Perfect ski and snowboard condo

This was the most perfect condo for our group. We are 4 adults and the place was spacious and clean. Plenty of couch space and dining room table area. Host was very responsive if I had any questions. 10/10 would stay again! We came to ski and snowboard, so it was wonderful having the shuttle right at the front of the complex.

Great place to stay, close to the Village.

The property was clean and matched the description in the post. The host was very helpful and prompt with her responses to our questions. It was about a 5 minute walk to the village, which was great, since parking at the village is limited. It was the perfect place to stay for our weekend ski trip!

Stay was amazing! Bed / couch is super comfy. Tons of room. The host was beyond awesome. Even gave us a little refund for the absolute slightest inconvenience. Extremely responsive. Appreciate her so much!

We stayed 3 nights and had a great time- the unit was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The shuttle picked us up right in front of unit parking lot to ski and we walked to village for dinner. Very convenient! This was such a great price for the size of unit with all the beds! We will definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, roomy spot 5 min. walk to village.

If you want a larger place, but still at an affordable price, try this condo. Close to the pool and village with shuttle stop right out front. Nice fire pit chill spot off of parking lot. Look for the side trail to the village and cut through between mountain lodge and Allegheny to Ballhooter lift. We were there for the 4848 and this has got to be one of the most affordable 2 bedrooms they offer this close to village. Convenient unloading first floor and parking right out front. Overall a win, 5 min walk to village and 10 min to Sky stage. Comfy beds, kitchen had everything. No AC, but cool nights and fans help. Lots of dresser space for clothes and such. Ice maker worked great and nice having the washer and dryer even if small. TVs in each room and good wifi connection. Landline and wifi calling to keep in touch w home. Laz was great to work with and very responsive. He wanted to make sure we were happy. Would recommend!

We came for a few days a skiing with our adult daughter and two teenage children. The condo was perfect. All the basic needs were supplied. The location was convenient with a shuttle ride or short walk to the village and slopes. Parking was available near the condo with easy access. We would definitely stay again.

Family snowboarding trip

Clean place, comfortable with plenty of sleeping accommodations. Pictures are accurate. Be aware that kitchen is quite tiny so if you’re planning to cook meals in it’s a bit challenging. I wasn’t aware that the area has zero cell signal, so the condo having wifi is definitely helpful. Plenty of TV channels in living room but couldn’t get any reception on TV in master, which wasn’t great. Overall good value for $$

Cozy and Convenient!

We had a great time at Laz's Leatherbark condo. The condo is laid out well and has all the comforts of home. The beds are comfy and the unit was clean. The shuttle stop is very convenient for easy access to the slopes. We suggest staying on the shuttle until the Western Territory/Powder Monkey stop for easy access to the Snowshoe slopes. We also walked to the village for dinner. It is an easy 5 minute walk but I would not recommend trying to walk to the slopes in ski boots. The Leatherbark condos felt tucked away and quiet. Parking was very easy and convenient. Laz's instructions for checkin and checkout were great. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year. We would highly recommend this unit.

Great experience

Comfortable place. Easy shuttle to the slopes. Easy walk to the village to do things. Great to have the Wildcat Provisions across the street...Its a good deal.

Great location!

Unit was just as described. Great space to hang out and relax. The location was ideal, just a short walk to village central. The unit was stocked with everything you need. There was also plenty of parking.

Fall weekend in the mountains

This was the second time we’ve stayed at Laz’s place. The condo provided everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The beds and futons are *very* comfortable. Clean linens. Reliable wifi. Small, but functional functional kitchen and washer/dryer. Check-in was extremely easy and Laz communicated in advance with complete instructions for accessing the condo and everything thing we needed to know to enjoy our stay. I had a question during the weekend and he responded right away. The location is perfect - walking distance to the village and slopes, but tucked away in a quiet section of the resort. Bonus: the market is practically right across the street.

This property was in close proximity to the village. Was about a 5 minute walk to the pool and 10 to the festival. Very quiet, very roomy. It exceeded my expectations.

Good times

I’ve been going to snowshoe for 30 years.I have stayed at numerous rentals and this is definitely on my favorite list.I’m so glad I booked it for 2 trips.I’ll be back February 6-9..

Great stay for UCI World Cup!

Had a *great* stay here for UCI World Cup mountain bike racing. The condo is spacious for a family of four. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other like we have at other condos in the area. Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed - including extra bedding for the futon. Small, but well-equipped kitchen - we kept our meals simple, so this wasn’t an issue. Very close to the village (2 min walk). Keypad entry made it convenient for family members to split up and not worry about who had keys to get back in. Communication with Laz was great! Will definitely stay again!

Nice for the price

Generally speaking, this was a good unit, and we had a good time staying there. There were a couple of little hiccups that caused us to drop this review by one star: the floor throughout the apartment was fairly dirty, and the unit didn't have air conditioning. As far as the air conditioning, this wasn't that much of a deal once we figured out how to open the windows, with some help from the owner and a next door neighbor. The location is very nice, not too far from the village. The apartment furnishings and decor are a bit dated, but it is still pleasant. And while there is a strong mildew smell in the stairwell, you can't smell it in the unit. We would have liked to have had access to the balcony. At night, it was as quiet as you could ask and there was a nice view of the stars through the den windows.

Great value, very clean condo for family ski trip

This 2 bed/2 bath condo with a bonus den area made it easy for a ski weekend for our family of 4. The kitchen is small but well-stocked with tools and utensils. It would be challenging to cook an entire meal from scratch due to limited counterspace, but for easy vacation cooking (frozen pizzas, casseroles, etc) it was perfect. The condo is also stocked with a crockpot, and you could pre-prepare crockpot dinners and that would be another great ski day option. The place was nicer than the pictures conveyed. Some of the furnishings are a little dated but still in good condition and everything was superbly clean. For ski access, you can take the shuttle stops across the street from the condo parking lot. If you're not in your ski boots, walking down to the main village is also possible (about 0.5 mile walk). Overall, this condo is a great value!

Great Location!

Short walk to the top of the Ballhooter lift. Fully stocked kitchen and roomy bedrooms. Everything you need for a great stay close to the action without breaking your budget. The place is also fairly toddler proof with moving a few items out of reach. Be aware that this is a middle floor condo. We had a family staying above us that were walking around a lot before calling it quits around 11 pm.

In Leatherbark you find the best of both worlds at Snowshoe: close proximity to the village, ski slopes and bike trails, yet far enough to have a peaceful vacation on the mountain. This small community is a mix owner-used and rentals, which means you are often going to encounter a neighbor with knowledge of the mountain and neighborhood.

There is a communal fire pit with firewood provided, along with communal grills and plenty of space for kids to play in the grassy area behind the buildings. It’s a great place to be on the mountain!

The bedrooms are designed to be comfortable and welcoming, and the condo a restful spot after a day on the trails, be it snow sports, biking or hiking.
