We paid the upcharge to have the RV moved to a parking lot close to Notre Dame's campus for tailgating purposes. Upon arrival, we were given an RV that was not what was pictured. The RV that we rented was given to another family, but was sitting right beside ours. The host informed us that the one she was giving us was going to be more comfortable. The host showed us how to work the air conditioning and other things in the RV. The generator did turn off while we were there; it took a bit to get it turned back on. But we left for dinner with the generator on so the camper would be cool when we arrived back. When we arrived back, the generator had turned off and it was hot. From there it continued to turn off every 15min or so until the air stopped working altogether in the living room. At this point, we decided we would find other accommodations. In the meantime, the camper that we thought we rented seem to be having no issues. We did come back the next day and use the camper for our tailgate, but we did not stay there that night. We asked for a refund for both nights and said that we would pay the upcharge on the travel since we did use the camper. The host refunded us one evening. We are not asking for a refund due to the air conditioning as we did not reach out to them. However we did ask for a refund since we weren't rented the camper that we paid for. I'm still confused on how we don't get both nights refunded. I would be aware you may not get the RV you see on the app

Enjoyed our stay

We had a great time at this location. We were able to have a campfire in the evenings with wood provided by property owner. My dad loved being out in the country, and we were still close enough to drive in to South Bend for the game the following day. Highly recommended.

Amazing Weekend

We had an amazing time at this rental. The RV has everything that you need and is extremely clean. Anne and David were excellent hosts and even took the time to let our two boys ride one of their horses one evening. We loved everything about the property and location. We definitely plan on a return trip.

4 night - first RV trip

We had a blast! Ann and David were very accommodating hosts. There was everything that we needed in the RV (toilet paper, paper towels, dishes, linens, etc). Was on a semi-private location as there was a house off of the same drive where the RV was on. Only saw a couple cars come and go though. We did a bonfire every night and had excellent weather. One day to Warren State Park, one day to South Haven, one day to New Buffalo, and then toured Norte Dame on the home!

Lovely, quiet stay

Ann and Dave's RV was a lovely stay. My family and I stayed two nights. The amenities included a great campfire, endless firewood, a comfortable RV with full bathroom and kitchen. The horses were a nice bonus for our boys who enjoyed their company. We had a lovely weekend. Ann and Dave are very kind and responsive hosts.

Nice, clean RV in a quiet country setting

Ann and Dave met us at the RV to show us how everything worked. They even brought us some charcoal for the grill. Ann checked on us once to see if everything was OK and if we needed anything. We enjoyed a campfire each night in this peaceful setting. Stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed for a 4th but had to get back home.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful stay in this RV. The owners Ann and Dave take pride in maintaining the RV and had lots of useful items stored in the RV for our usage. They took the time to walk through it and explain the operation of everything. In general it's a very nicely equipped RV and made being away from home hardly seem like an inconvenience. We actually used the RV to camp in a nearby state park, so I cannot speak to the property that it's usually parked on, but the RV itself was wonderful. We had a wonderful experience and would encourage others to utilize this rental!

Great family getaway surrounded by nature but close to plenty of activities

Our family of four has never stayed in an RV before so weren't sure what to expect. This experience was a pleasant surprise! Ann was fabulous to work with. She promptly answered all of my questions prior to our booking and met us onsite at check-in (even though it was a late arrival) to show us the ropes of RV living. We stayed three nights over Labor Day weekend. Ann and Dave were not at all intrusive but were quick to respond to our questions and were always available if we needed them. It was nice to enjoy a camping experience, on the edge of a horse farm, without other campers surrounding us. In fact, we never saw another person, other than the owners. It was peaceful and relaxing to enjoy nature and end our days around a bonfire. The stars were beautiful! During the day, we ventured to local restaurants, farm stands, Notre Dame, and the beautiful beaches of Lake MI. Everything was an easy drive to immerse ourselves in civilization during the day and retreat to nature in the evening. We would love to return someday. Thanks so much, Ann and Dave!

beautiful, peaceful, charming "piece of heaven"

I loved this place and cannot say enough wonderful things about the beautiful RV, the setting, and most of all, the owners Ann and Dave. From the first contact with them, I knew this was the perfect spot for us. The grounds are simply fabulous and the RV was perfectly equipped with everything you could ask for. We had just attended a huge RV show in Elkhart, and both agreed this was our favorite, and we checked out at least 50 of them. I highly recommend this rental! It is everything and much more than you could ever ask for, thanks to Ann and Dave. Bob & Rebecca
