Venga a escapar a Texas Hill Country y al río Guadalupe. Quédese en su propia escapada en el agua. Observe la puesta de sol sobre una cresta, alimente a los venados en su jardín delantero o simplemente recuéstese, relájese y observe cómo el río se relaja. Estamos ubicados en la parte superior del río entre el tercer y cuarto cruce, a unos 10 minutos del lago Canyon y a unos 15 minutos de New Braunfels.

Very charming house with river access. We had a wonderful time tubing the Guadalupe river and enjoying the beautiful property. Two foxes and a racoon visited us in the evening while we enjoyed the cool breeze on the covered deck. We also enjoyed morning yoga near the river.
Gorgeous and serene float on the river. Floated right to the house from 4th Crossing--took about 3.5 hours.

This beautiful tree provided shade for yoga.
We practically had the river to ourselves!

Highly Recommend

The house is right on the river and perfectly positioned to go up river and float back to house or start at the house and float to L&L and get out. The house is the perfect fit for our annual girls trip. We have rented this location 3 times now and will continue to use it!!!!

This was such a cute property. It was very well kept and clean. The check in process was great. House was as pictured. I love how the bathroom has a separate “get ready space” with a mirror and small chair. WiFi/netflix/air conditioner/fridge all worked great. Not the best water pressure, but we were all able to take hot showers so that was nice. The chargers on the night stands were a great touch. Extra blankets and pillows if needed. The back porch was awesome with a great view of the river. The river isn’t far from the house either. I Would stay here again.

Mini vacay

My sister and I stayed a couple of nights for a peaceful getaway. The house was clean, quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed. Great stay! Would recommend.

Such a beautiful river view

Everything was great start to finish! We had 6 ladies for a 4 night get away trip. We loved sitting on the back patio watching the bird and squirrels. The backyard is picturesque! Host was communicative. Beds were comfortable. 2 things to prepare for if you stay though! Bring toilet paper because we were only provided 2 rolls for 6 women on a 4 night trip. Also the chairs on the back patio are very uncomfortable without padding so bring cushions. We had bruises on our butts from them lol.

Perfect get away

Very clean, beds were super comfy, and the location was perfect. Great little spot to fish in the morning before the tubes start appearing. At night it was so amazing to see all the lightening bugs. And of course the floating was perfect.

Peaceful river stay

Home was clean, kitchen was well equipped. Refrigerator had an icemaker. Plenty of towels and cleaning items available. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows.The backyard was simple, covered deck with a table a chairs. Grss covered lawn and beautiful cypress tress providing shade. Steps leading down to the river. There is a wooden dock. I was hoping for a place to put my chair in the river water and relax, but the water is too deep there, it just drops off. Only some roots to step down on. Getting out is a challenge without any handles to pull up on. We did enjoy swimming and floating in our tubes. We were there during the week. It was very quiet and peacefull. Many turtles, ducks, and a variety of birds to watch. We saw some small mouthed bass and perch.

Wonderful place on the River

The house is perfect for small groups. The location is excellent. You can swim, tube and fish. This is our 3rd time here and will be back.

Mold city

I was there with four other women. We all feel awful after being there. I am severely allergic to mold. Water started coming up through the floors. The owner said it was HVAC. It appears to us to be an ongoing problem. My face swelled up and my ears ache / and one of my friends left early because of it. The owner said he was sorry we had to go through that. I believe this was a known issue before we rented.

Quiet Escape

My wife and I stayed for her mothers day getaway. It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The house was cozy and clean, matching the description exactly. The location on the river is wonderful as well. We will be back for sure.

Great cabin

I stayed here for 3 months while I was looking for a house. The location is convenient and beautiful. It is a perfect getaway on the river with lots of wildlife. The owner is very responsive. I hated to leave.

Great Place

The house is perfect for a small group. The location is amazing and the little dock is perfect to fish off of or just sit and watch the water. It is our 2nd time to stay and we will definitely be booking again. The host is easy to communicate with and quick with responses.

We purchased this property in 1994 as a place to use for friends and family. We have shared our house with many since 1994 and hope to keep doing so for years to come.

We purchased this house because it was right on the water and in the Texas Hill Country. We had visited the area several times and just happened to luck out finding the house for sale. The house is priced very competitively to similar properties making a great choice for accommodating 2 to 6 people.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The house is centrally located on the upper part of the river. This provides our quests with options for venturing out to other local establishments or attractions. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood about 4 miles from Canyon Lake. The river in this section runs deep and slow. This allows for swimming or just hanging out in a tube tied to our deck or one of the many cypress trees roots. The house is located about 5 minute walking distance from a river outfitter and makes it very easy to rent tubes or rafts without having to drive. We strive to keep a well maintained and clean house for our quests to enjoy.
