Cozy little cabin. It's very secluded and a little tricky to find, but if you follow the directions from the host you'll get there. Unfortunately the weather kept us out of the hot tub, but we played games, shared a bottle of wine, and had a great stay!

The cabin was adorable and very private. My husband had been hospitalized and we couldn’t make the trip we had planned. Jackie was our host and she was amazing! Very hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure that there were other dates available for us to choose from. I would highly recommend Jackie and the Romantic Woodland Retreat.

Lovely, cozy cabin in the peaceful hills outside Berkeley Springs. It had all the things we needed from a weekend getaway - well-equipped kitchen, super comfy bed, nice hot tub.

This was the sweetest little getaway with my husband for his 50th birthday. We loved how peaceful and remote it was. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable was there. We loved the hot tub, the fireplace and the date night cards. We would love to come back to this peaceful place!

My stay was excellent! The cabin exceeded my expectations. It was clean, warm, nicely decorated, and ready for my arrival. Excellent communication with the host. Kitchen had everything I needed. WIFI worked great for streaming movies. It was quiet and secluded, yet only 15 min to the grocery store. Highlights of my trip were hiking at the nearby Cacapon State Park, and the hot tub under a starry sky. I hope to make a return trip.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect. Just the right size for us. Loved the front porch, enjoyed relaxing in the hammock in the back yard. The hot tub was perfect after a day of biking on the C&O Canal Trail.

Wonderful to hear. Come back this winter and see how we have redecorated the inide and the outside. We have added nice pebble paths to the firepit ad hammocks and a Weber gas grill now too.

The quiet was soothing. The hot tub was spotless and fully functioning. The firepit was perfectly sized with the right amount of already split wood. The adirondack chairs were comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Everything was just right.

An adorable little cabin in the woods, private and secluded. We appreciated the attention to detail making this cabin a cozy place for a couples getaway. Well equipped kitchen made making meals at home easy. The firepit and hot tub are a nice way to enjoy the outdoors on cool evenings. Inside, the gas fireplace was a nice touch. Host was easy to communicate with and provided good recommendations for area.

Amazing time. Can’t wait to return. Perfect escape for a night away. The place was absolutely perfect. You couldn’t ask for anything else. Awesome amenities. 10/10. Hot tub was set for us and clean. I woke up and had coffee in my hand while lounging on the hammock in the yard. If this is available, book it.

This is my second stay at this property. Owners have made improvements to an already wonderful cabin. Host communicates all the way through. Checked in to make sure that we have everything that we needed and things were going ok. I would highly recommend to couples that just want to get away and like seclusion. Just minutes from several attractions. We will definitely return.

Jackie was exceptionally communicative and collaborative regarding our trip that would be disrupted by the recent snow storm. I really appreciate how detailed Jackie was, how she checked in with me regularly and worked with me so that I could still enjoy the beautiful rental for a night before the impending storm. Arriving to the romantic cabin, it was all we dreamed of and more. The aesthetic, ambiance and amenities were top notch. All the little details were just perfect! The warm lighting and the gas fireplace made for a super cozy evening playing games in the little living room extra romantic. The hot tub was a delight on such a cold night and we still enjoyed the fire pit despite the temp in the teens! Worth it 100%! Would recommend for a couple’s retreat and hope to return someday!

We had an awesome long-weekend stay here and just had to leave a review, even though I don’t normally write them. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. The hot tub was a huge plus — we ended every night relaxing in it, and it made the trip feel extra special.Cacapon State Park is really close by, so we spent time hiking the trails during the day. It was the perfect mix of being out in nature and then coming back to a comfortable place to unwind.The host was great — friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy.Overall, it was a great little getaway for my wife and me, and we’d definitely come back. 5 stars for sure.

When my husband and I first went to Berkeley Springs after we were first married in 1976, we found the area to be energizing and relaxing all at the same time. We loved the area so much we went back many times to take in the waters and rent a cabin or stay with friends. In 1998, we saw a little farm house on precious land and a few months later, bought it. We called it Sky Mountain Farm. A few years after that, we built a 5BR, 4BA cedar chalet on Libby's Ridge near Fox Hollow but out of sight which we also rent to vacationers. We love the smell of the fresh wood exterior and interior and the secluded hot tub on the deck. There is no light pollution here, so one can see the stars really pop out. We hope you enjoy our Fox Hollow Log Cabin as much as we do.
