Quiet, clean, comfortable

We’ve staying in several cabins in the Coolfont area and this was definitely our favorite! It’s a quick trip into Berkeley Springs to enjoy the town and then a peaceful spot to relax. The hot tub was great. Katie was communicative and kind. Would return!

The property was amazing. Perfect location, very tidy. Love all the decor. Perfect in every way. We stay in cabins a few times a year and this one is near the top of our favorites.

Relaxing stay in the beautiful WV woods

My sister and I enjoyed a beautiful long weekend in this cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to feel at home, with modern amenities, a great hot tub, board games, and streaming services. The house layout was well thought-out and it had a very clean and cute design aesthetic. The downtown area was a quick drive and had lots of shops, events, and restaurants, and we were also very close to hiking and parks. I think our favorite part was the screened-in porch which allowed us to experience the woodsy setting without the bugs! The host was super communicative and helpful with everything we needed to know during our stay. Would highly recommend!

Magical cabin in the woods

Absolutely wonderful. Everything about it. Only recommendation for future visitors, take a screen ahoy of the access code and Wi-Fi password as there is no connection in the driveway. But it’s not the end of the world if Berkeley Springs Brewing Co. is open, less than a mile away. You can get a tasty beverage and use their Wi-Fi to get the details. Katie, the host is awesome, and was immediately available for any questions.

Home Away from Home

We had an amazing girls' weekend at this cabin! The hosts have truly thought of every little detail to make the stay feel special and comfortable. We cooked meals together, enjoyed the cozy fire and hot tub on the chilly nights, and spent quality time playing games and relaxing.The bed setup is perfect for a small group or even two families traveling together. I was genuinely thrilled to see the thoughtful touch of offering both soft and firm pillows—such a simple detail, but it made a big difference. The entire cabin is filled with those kinds of homey touches that make you feel completely at ease.The location is fantastic too, with hiking, great restaurants, shopping, and spas just a short drive away. I also noticed the sweet touches for families with young kids—like a toy chest, sippy cups, and the cutest teddy bear chairs. I can’t wait to come back and bring my family next time!

HI! My name is Katie, and Redbird Haven is our Home away from Home. We reside full-time in Baltimore City, but love escaping to our sanctuary in Berkeley Springs. My husband Jay and I manage the short-term rentals at our cabin, and we love interacting with guests and giving local recommendations. Everyone falls in love with Berkeley Springs (& our home!).

Jay and I fell in love with Berkeley Springs the first time we traveled there for a weekend getaway without the kids! We then brought our kids back several times and they loved the natural beauty, peaceful surroundings, and lovely downtown that this gem of a town has to offer. We quickly knew we wanted to buy a home there!

Coolfont in particular is an infamous neighborhood with wonderful amenities that still allowed us to have our peace and quiet, but offered us a lovely resort-style pool tucked away in the trees, a playground, tennis courts, and a brewery within walking distance. We always knew that was the ideal area for us.

Our property is unique because the inside space and outdoor space both offer you peace and calm. It is not entirely remote, as you can see your neighbors' homes, but it offers you the best of both worlds with only being 7 minutes from downtown. The interior has been recently renovated and offers your the comfort of home along with modern amenities. The outdoor space includes a wrap around deck, screened in porch, balcony, hot tub, and more - and promotes peace and relaxation no matter where you choose to sit. The vibes are pristine and promote healing and resetting.

Also, it will accommodate all trip-types whether they are adults-only, bustling families with little ones and furry friends alike. We have the amenities for everyone you love to feel right at home.
