Great place

Always enjoy staying at the Fairmont Heritage at Ghirardelli Square! Home away from home feeling being in one of their units. Good amenities! The staff are courteous and the best!

Amazing, Nostalgic Experience

I had to travel to the Bay Area for business. I have a childhood friend of approximately 32 years who resides in the area. I asked my other childhood friends of 32 years if they wanted to join me to visit our dear friend. It was a magical, amazing experience. The location of this unit was absolutely perfect and the views of the area were breathtaking. Jaqi was friendly and prompt to communicate with - I'll be back to this location when I return for business.

Perfect SF Weekend

Comfortable, impeccable service, great location and a million dollar view. Great for bayside run, walks, exploring the city, and most importantly the wedding events we were attending. Accommodations were lovely, only wish we had more time to stay and relax in the room... enjoy the patio/view with a good book!

You can trust this listing.

If you’re headed to the Bay Area, and want to be close to the action, this is the ideal spot. On top of that you’ll have a nice patio to relax by the water. The condo was well maintained, and equipped with most essentials. Plenty of shopping nearby to get further supplies, if needed. Last but surely not least, the communication. Leading up to the stay, Jaqi was there for anything needed. Extremely helpful, professional and sincere. Upon checking in, the Fairmont took that same approach, as always their product is very consistent. I highly recommend a booking with them, you won’t be disappointed.

FAIRMOUNT HERITAGE 3/2022

THIS PROPERTY IS IN NEED OF REFRESHING... NEEDS PAINTING, REPAIR TO WALLS AND BASEBOARDS, COUCH NEEDS REPLACING, bedroom FURNITURE PAINT MISSING AND PEELING. Also I wasn't told that I had to arrange for housekeeping as an extra, which I did.

Fabulous bay view!

Jaqi was extremely responsive. We had a fantastic bay view & balcony was great when the weather cooperated. One item to note for those who may plan on cooking is although there is a 4 burner cooktop, there is a microwave/convection oven combo in place of a regular oven. Staff were fabulous & you can’t beat the location.

Amazing

This rental exceeded all of our expectations. We were in Unit 314. It had everything we needed. It was so nice that even though we were in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf, we got food to go both nights we were there and ate dinner on the patio looking at a breathtaking view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and Angel Island. I would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing!

We stayed in a one bedroom. It was amazing! There wasn’t anything that wasn’t already in our room-down to laundry detergent and fabric softener for washer/dryer. The kitchen was nicely equipped with appliances. Much time was spent on the deck enjoying the nice weather and the activity of Ghirardelli Square. Cannot say how great our accommodations were. Definitely would come back.

Perfect location for exploring SF

We lived in SF for 25 years and know this is the best area for easy exploration of all that SF has to offer. You can easily walk to Union Street, North Beach, Chestnut Street, Fort Mason, Aquatic Park, Fisherman's Wharf, Chrissy Field and Ghirardelli Square. The symphony and opera are less than 15 minutes away. The apartment has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. We had a beautiful bay view deck with armchairs and a table with chairs for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Jaqi is the perfect host who responds immediately to any questions. The Fairmont staff is very professional and helpful. The car service and breakfast have been suspended because of Covid but there are many other options instead. Highly recommend you enjoy this wonderful apartment.

Great location, great unit

This was a perfect location and the unit was ideal for our needs. Challenging finding restaurant reservations during COVID, but we managed it (some with the help of the concierge) and enjoyed everything. Having parking was important for us and the valet service was a huge plus. The car service was not running however, so we did use Lyft many times. Would have been nice to know that up front.

Beautiful location

Traveling during the pandemic, we felt safe and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with all our needs. Our unit was down low facing Ghirardelli Square so we could sit on our patio and people watch. Unfortunately, because the pandemic some of the amenity were not available like breakfast and wine tasting so we will have to come back here another time to experience that.

40th Anniversary Celebration

This place should not be allowed to use VRBO. Ghirardelli is nice but this was a clear BAIT AND SWITCH. The owner cannot guarantee the room you are getting or the view. Before we booked she confirmed that the room was on the 3rd floor in room 301 with a great view. We were put in a lower floor with NO VIEW!! Horrible overall experience.

Great Service in a Fantastic Location

Everything about this place is perfect. The room and view was perfect and we were greeted with wine, cheese and crackers. Breakfast in the morning was so convenient, the oatmeal with fresh berries was yummy. We looked forward to afternoon wine tasting after sight seeing all day. The staff was so helpful and accommodating and the car (and driver!) were available every time we needed a ride. We will definitely stay here next time we are in San Francisco. It was a very special stay.

Lovely place in a fantastic location. We all loved San Francisco and views from the property.

Stayed 4 nights and loved our time there. San Francisco is such a lovely city and you feel in the heart of it staying at the apartment as have lovely views of coast and the Ghiradelli Square. Jaqi was great to deal with and made the whole experience very straightforward. She was also very quick to reply to queries. The fire pits on the patio area made were great for an early evening drink overlooking the bay.

Perfect!!

We were thrilled with the property. We were supposed to have a one bedroom unit but were checked in to a two bedroom unit. This has to be the nicest unit in the building. It was on the fourth floor and had a view of the bay from both bedrooms and the living room. It was clean and well kept. It was a great location to be a tourist!! Parking was included which was a plus. There was also a car at the facility which would take you within a two-mile radius on a first come basis. We used it a couple of times and never had an issue at the times we needed it. Our experience could not have been more perfect. We would definitely stay in this property again.
