Onsite parking in front and the beach/Gulf in the back. Saltwater pool onsite too. Relax on the balcony with coffee or cocktails. Park and walk to your favorite places! The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, Sea-N-Suds and Gulf State Park Fishing Pier and so much more are all within walking distance of Castaways 8D.

Castaways 8D is exactly as advertised and even better. It’s very clean and spacious also has a very nice well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The views from the balcony definitely will not disappoint we can’t wait to stay here again next time we’re in Gulf Shores.

4 nights of bliss

We spent 4 nights here in March 2025. The view was spectacular and the condo had everything we needed and more. This will be our “go to” home away from home for beach trips. Absolutely loved the owners and enjoyed every aspect of spring break!

Castaways 8D gets an A+ from us!

This was a last minute booking and I can not be more pleased! Condo was beautiful and very accommodating for our large party of 10. Plenty of room for all of us. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Great beach view! We even had boxes of delicious cookies waiting for us upon our arrival!! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful condo!

Beautiful condo, located directly on the beach, close to several restaurants, pool is cleaned every morning, easy access to beach! One of our favorite places to stay!! We will be back! Owner was easy to reach! Also, they delivered cupcakes and cookies upon our arrival! 🙂

Family and friend vacation!

Condo was very clean and spacious! It was perfect for our group of 2 families. Easy check-in process and the property managers were very pleasant when we had questions. This was our second time to stay at Castaways and has become our favorite place to stay so far!

Decent condo

Great for the large group of ppl we had. Good location. Building is a bit dated and elevator is hot and slow. Would stay there again.

Definitely stay here again.

Had a small issue with the air conditioner, but called and they sent someone out to fix it. The building is alittle outdated but the room was perfect! We will definitely stay here again.

Great place

We loved the layout of the place and easy access to the beach. Elevators are a little slow and parking was limited but we never moved our car so it was fine for us. Might be tricky in the busier months. We had some gorgeous sunsets! Overall great stay!

If you like to shop, you can walk to Tiki Island Boutique, Souvenir City, Market Place, Purple Octopus, Surf Stye and Dollar General. Events within walking distance include The Hangout Fest/Sand In My Boots Fest, Gulf Shores Shrimp Fest and NCAA Beach Volleyball Tournament. Park and walk to so many places!
