GULF-FRONT! At 1800 sq. feet, you won't be bumping into each other during your stay. This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom with 3 queen sofa sleepers for the littles, will comfortably sleep 12. Onsite parking in front and the beach/Gulf in the back. Saltwater pool onsite too. Relax on the balcony with coffee or cocktails. Park and walk to your favorite places! The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, Sea-N-Suds and Gulf State Park Fishing Pier and so much more are all within walking distance of Castaways 8D.

Very nice and relaxing and comfortable

The condo is very nice, lots of room and very clean. The porch is wonderful, lots of room and a spectacular view. The kids enjoyed the pool as well as the beach. The restaurants were close and good food. We will definitely come again.

Castaways 8D is exactly as advertised and even better. It’s very clean and spacious also has a very nice well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. The views from the balcony definitely will not disappoint we can’t wait to stay here again next time we’re in Gulf Shores.

4 nights of bliss

We spent 4 nights here in March 2025. The view was spectacular and the condo had everything we needed and more. This will be our “go to” home away from home for beach trips. Absolutely loved the owners and enjoyed every aspect of spring break!

Castaways 8D gets an A+ from us!

This was a last minute booking and I can not be more pleased! Condo was beautiful and very accommodating for our large party of 10. Plenty of room for all of us. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Great beach view! We even had boxes of delicious cookies waiting for us upon our arrival!! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful condo!

Beautiful condo, located directly on the beach, close to several restaurants, pool is cleaned every morning, easy access to beach! One of our favorite places to stay!! We will be back! Owner was easy to reach! Also, they delivered cupcakes and cookies upon our arrival! 🙂

Family and friend vacation!

Condo was very clean and spacious! It was perfect for our group of 2 families. Easy check-in process and the property managers were very pleasant when we had questions. This was our second time to stay at Castaways and has become our favorite place to stay so far!

Decent condo

Great for the large group of ppl we had. Good location. Building is a bit dated and elevator is hot and slow. Would stay there again.

Definitely stay here again.

Had a small issue with the air conditioner, but called and they sent someone out to fix it. The building is alittle outdated but the room was perfect! We will definitely stay here again.

Booking was super easy online and it was nice not having to go into and office and do the whole check in process after traveling all day. We had all the info we needed and had a great stay. Check out was also quick and easy.

Castaways 8D is within walking distance to The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, Picnic Beach, Sea-N-Suds, Gulf State Park fishing pier/restaurants, Lauria's by the Beach, De Soto's Seafood Kitchen, Mikee's Seafood, Sunliner Diner, Gulf Island Grill, The Catch, Bahama Bob's and so much more. If you like to shop, you can walk to Tiki Island Boutique, Souvenir City, Market Place, Purple Octopus, Surf Stye and Dollar General. Events within walking distance include The Hangout Fest/Sand In My Boots Fest, Gulf Shores Shrimp Fest and NCAA Beach Volleyball Tournament. Park and walk to so many places!
