Quiet neighborhood. 2 miles from shopping and dining. We are Dog-friendly but we cannot accommodate more than one dog. Parking space 20 ' from guest entrance; no steps. Enjoy the private screened-in deck with gas grill. All kitchen amenities provided to create a great meal. Large walk-in shower. Comfortable King bed. Only 5 minutes away from an excellent public golf course.

Dennis was awesome. Clean and fully stocked unit with goodies and house wares. Good TV options. Exellent parking. Communication was very good. When back if in the area we will deffinately re-book. Thanks for the friendly welcome!

As other reviews have said, this home is incredibly clean, well maintained, well appointed and has been nicely updated. The setting is a wonderful dog and family friendly area with lightly traveled streets and sidewalks. The location is convenient to Hickory’s downtown area. The host is very courteous, responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended.

The apartment was immaculate and had everything that we could want. The living area had comfortable furniture and warm lighting. We didn't watch television, but we did turn on the electric fireplace in the tv stand. I'm not sure that it was for warmth (didn't need it) but it set a cozy feel to the room. The kitchen was well appointed, and had everything that we needed. Our stay was short, so we didn't need the washer and dryer, but we were glad to note that they were available and easy to use. The bed was so comfortable and after a long day of travel, we slept hard and long. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to or through Hickory.

Nice quiet neighborhood and probably the quietest lower level house apartment we've stayed in. Firm king mattress. Lots of snacks provided. Only suggestion we have is for brighter bedroom nightstand lamps for reading since there isn't a ceiling light. There is a TV in bedroom but we are more readers before bed than tv viewers. Plugin scent was a bit too strong for my nose, but we just unplugged it while we were there. Would stay here again.

Love how quiet this location is despite its being so accessible to nearby restaurants and shopping. The hosts are very friendly and easy to work with. The bed is comfortable and the screened in porch is a delight. Will definitely stay there again.

Very clean , Easy check in and quiet. Owners were very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again! I loved that they had a King bed and I didn't have to share!

Really nice , the sheets were very soft and fit great , the whole house was clean and the host just had to leave out some chocolate ( my downfall ) . Communication easy , everything very clean and comfortable . Could use a stool to get up on the beautiful high bed . Loved it. Also very well stocked .

Wonderful Stay in Hickory NC

We are happy to review our experience at this Airbnb. Our hosts, Dennis and Catherine were terrific! The apartment was clean, organized and conveniently located to downtown and other areas of interest for us.We enjoyed the screened-in back porch and the extra large closet for clothing, luggage and shoes was a plus! Hosts were easy to communicate with, being prompt and helpful in answering our questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Excellent hideaway!

This comfortable hideaway was spacious, quiet, and well-appointed with amenities. Plenty of space and in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to and a short distance from the main thoroughfare in Hickory (127). Bonus is that it’s just minutes from one of the top 50 sushi restaurants in the US: UMI. When we head back to Hickory, this will the top of the list for where to stay.

Wonderfully Impressed

Very enjoyable stay, the accommodations were very clean and everything we need was there just as if we were at home. Very friendly host and the amenities were top notch. We are excited to be back here again in about a week and will definitely stay here any time we are in the area. Definitely deserves the 5 star rating.

Home away from home

The apartment is absolutely delightful.!We were surprised first to see it was behind a big home-being from NYC we had assumed an apartment building.But the apartment was peaceful, very clean and surrounded by a beautiful property and great outdoor covered patio.(perfect for storing our bikes).Catherine and Dennis (The owners) live in the front part of the house but you never hear a thing. They were very generous providing us with snacks, water and toiletries. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful neighborhood with our dog. A short drive to the town of hickory was also a nice surprise. We got to enjoy live activities, farmers market, shops , restaurants, art galleries, and city walkways. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to visit family!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at this Vrbo. It was extremely well kept & clean. It also smelled amazing. They also left little snacks for us which we enjoyed after a long trip. We would stay here again.
