Wildewood Haven - Charming 3-bedroom home located on Long Pond, Rome, ME

Located on Long Pond, within Wildewood Estates Association. Step inside this classic Maine retreat promising to offer you instant relaxation and rejuvenation. Located a short walk to the association's common beach with a graded, sandy swimming area. Just down the road in the opposite direction is the association's common boating area. Both areas invite launching kayaks or paddle boards, provided by us, for your fun and lake recreation!


This beautiful home sits on a wooded lot with complete privacy in the backyard. Enjoy one level living, with 1 step to bedrooms inviting accessibility for every guest! In the winter, enjoy lake views peering through the trees. The main living area is an open concept that includes spaces for kitchen, dining and lounging with a magnificent cathedral ceiling and an abundance of windows framing the beautiful outside wooded areas. There are 2 TV's for your entertainment, one is 53" and the other is 40" both Roku enabled, streaming apps available. We have games, puzzles and books also for your entertainment.


The 3 bedrooms are located on one floor. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and en suite bathroom with a shower. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and the 3rd bedroom has both a queen size bed and a twin size bed. There is a 2nd bathroom adjacent to these bedrooms with a shower.


Close by, enjoy the tranquil Kennebec Highland Hiking Trails that offer breathtaking views of both Long Pond and Great Pond. In the colder months you can snowshoe and enjoy micro spike hikes on the trails. Some of these trails are multi-use offering space for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and mountain biking as well. Wildewood Haven is just about an hour from both Sugarloaf and Saddleback Mountain ski areas. If you enjoy golf, the award winning Belgrade Lakes Golf Club is just minutes away. There is also a nearby public boat launch for you to enjoy boating, fishing and swimming on Long Pond.


There are several nearby towns that offer quaint cafes and restaurants as well as antique shops, cinemas and other sources of entertainment.
