La casa ha sido reformada y amueblada recientemente, conservando su antiguo carácter y agregando la calidad de la comodidad actual.

Great house in the old town - full of character, but quite noisy with tour groups outside and some local building work going on when we visited. Fabulous for restaurants at the bottom of the steps into the town. We had a fantastic time and this is a really lovely location.

I booked this with the owner, Ana, several months in advance and then received information that Ana started using a management company. Due to the overlap, information wasn't great and the check in was very last minute...but, in the end, we got in and everything was good. The apartment was very nice and comfortable (no AC so might be pretty warm on the top floor in the summers) and the location was excellent. Would stay again!

Historic and modern, walking distance to so many places!

This is a great property, especially if traveling with a group or older children as the two upper floors each having a bathroom gives everyone their own space. The hosts were thoughtful, providing lots of amenities, coffee, helpful guides, games, etc. We could walk to many wonderful restaurants, the shores of the Duoro river, the bridges and historical buildings. The easy entry was nice as well, and there was very quick support if you had a question.

Nice property, good location

This was a nicely remodeled home in the UNESCO area of Porto. Good location - close to central areas, shops and restaurants. Good viewpoint just across the street and from the 3rd floor balcony. The home had every thing we needed. It is 3 stories, so navigating stairs is a must. Also, there was outside road construction when we were there - which we were informed of, but some days it was a bit more loud than others. Also the street has many run down houses. All of Porto seems under construction and renewal, so this is all likely to be part of any neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive and helpful.

Great central location. Lovely house

We had a lovely stay in the house. Everything was as advertised. Central location was wonderful! We are all in our 70’s and the hills caused us some grief. We couldn’t get our car close to the house because the street is under construction but we were warned about it. All in all we had a lovely time. Porto is well worth the effort and this house is in an ideal location.

Perfect Porto Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Porto. The property was well laid out for our family of 5. Multiple levels made it easy to spread out after a long day of exploring. The rental was very well stocked, everything we could need! It is located very close to a popular lookout spot and on the walking tours route but was very quiet and we felt very safe. Ana was a very responsive host, quick to respond to messages. We would not hestitate to stay here again if ever in Porto!

Perfect Porto rental.

Location, property, and owner were excellent.Highly recommend. Couldn’t get a better location to explore on foot. Restaurant, tourist sites, were very close yet the community wasn’t busy at all.

Neighborhood in Flux

This house is located in an historic area which is also currently a construction zone. The street is closed with fences all around and the sidewalk on the home's side is nonexistent. One of the houses next door is under construction and work began one day at 7:30am. There is noise from the neighboring construction as well as from the public as the street adjoins a popular overlook to the waterfront (there was no road construction during our stay). Some adjoining buildings are abandoned and covered with graffiti, making the surroundings far less than ideal.The interior of the house is clean, bright and modern. It is one of the most well stocked and organized VRBOs we have stayed in and accurately represented in the online photos, however there is no true balcony. The kitchen has everything you might need and the appliances appear new. There are 3 floors of usable space with the bedrooms being on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Soaking tub on the 3rd story is over 2 feet high ( you have to be young to lift your legs over). There is only a towel bar to hold onto to get into the tub. The angle of the soaking tub is difficult to get out. I had to try and hold onto the sink so we didn’t slip and fall.The location was good, accessible to many desirable areas of Porto.

Wonderful Porto

Had a lovely stay at Casa San Miguel 6 for two months with lots of friends and family visiting my wife and me. Ana (the owner) was fantastically responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Porto, and Porto itself is wonderful! Thanks, Ana!

This is a great place to stay with a group of 6. It had everything we needed, and its location was great. Easy walk to all the sights, lots of restaurants nearby. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Porto.

Great location!

Five of us really enjoyed our five night stay in Porto. The townhouse was centrally located and was just as described. Many have commented on the number of stairs within this historic townhouse… for those who also have never visited Portugal, the townhouse stairs will be just a warm up, as hiking up and down steep stairs and hilly cobblestones will be how you spend your entire vacation while sightseeing in Porto and Lisbon. And it will be well worth the exercise!

Excellent spot in old Porto

We loved our 3 floor unit (2 couples and 2 singles). It was a great location for exploring the old part of the city and the unit is near the end of one of our walking tours! Being in the city, it can be noisy if you leave the windows open at night, and it’s an uphill climb from the train station, but the whole city is that way. New subway construction is messing with roads near the station, but hopefully that will be done in a few more years.

Casa S. Miguel 6,The house is located in the heart of UNESCO Porto historical area, in a street full of history, that dates back to 1386. This house was fully refurbished in 2008, keeping the original features and colours and adding today's comfort. It is fully decorated, well maintained and it is well equipped, with washing and drying machine, there are electric heater to use in the winter and cooling units in the bedrooms in the summer days.
The location is excellent!

This is a central area close to Torre dos Clerigos. This is a perfect location as you will be from a walking distance to the major monuments and places to visit in Porto, as well as the restaurants and bars are a 5 minutes walk way from the door.
Opposite to the house there is the Miradouro da Vitoria, you will have access to the amazing Porto city.
