River access on property to use for swimming or use the provided kayaks (6) for an enjoyable float down the river. My friend and I needed a place to stay after attending a wedding shower and this place worked out perfect. Great location, clean, communication with Chad was easy, great beds and super soft sheets. The coffee bar, water and snacks for us were enjoyable. It was close to town and to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

I have attempted to reach out to this guest concerning her negative review on Location Accuracy with no response. I contacted VRBO support to assist me in this matter also. I have never received a negative review and would like to offer help or insight on this matter with the guest. I was never contacted during the arrival that they had any concerns or complaints. I check on my guests during and upon departure to ensure they enjoyed their stay. I wish they would’ve contacted me before the review was left and I would’ve compensated accordingly.

This cabin is certainly charming. It is wonderfully supplied by the thoughtful hosts who are very easy to contact. It is only about a 6-minute ride to downtown Bedford. It is a large property with lots for families to do. There is a roomy deck and a fire pit for outdoor activities. The beds are very comfortable.

The cottage was so clean and charming. It had everything you could possibly need plus much more for a comfortable stay. The communication with Chad couldn’t have been better. Great property!! Next time we stay we are getting those kayaks on the river!!

The cabin was MORE than I expected. The owners were available to answer my questions. The “ extras” provided were totally unexpected and appreciated. I would without hesitation rebook this cabin if in the area again.

We couldn't have been happier with this rental! The property was exactly as described and was a very homey alternative while in town for a wedding. The amenities were thoughtfully considered, which is always an added bonus! The coffee and tea bar, the snacks, and the disposable makeup wipes are just a few of the thoughtful considerations provided by the owners. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We were thrilled with this find, and would be glad to stay again when we are in the area!

Chad was very responsive and helpful when we thought a breaker flipped and the heater wouldn't turn on-the breaker did flip and it was an easy fix. He followed up the next day to check that everything was going well. The coffee bar and provided snack tray were both adorable and very appreciated. It was pretty cold so we didn't sit outside, but the firepit area and deck were both really nice. We're hoping to make it back during warm weather to take advantage of the outdoor space!

2nd weekend of Bedford Fall Foliage

This little cottage is absolutely THE BEST! Cozy. Well appointed. Beautiful back yard. EVERYTHING you need for cooking meals. COMFORTABLE beds and pillows and the linens are quite nice. Just...amazing. Highly recommend!

This place was adorable. There was plenty of heat/air/ceiling fans to keep the home comfortable. There were things that we thought added a nice touch such as bottled water and some treats. There was a binder of restaurants that was very helpful as we ended up going to one and thoroughly enjoyed it. We utilized the fire pit and it was so nice and cozy. Everything was clean and neat and quaint. Check-in instructions were clear. The enclosed porch was also nice for someone who isn’t a fan of bugs but still likes to see the outdoors. The location was great. It was secluded but so close to everything we went to. I would highly recommend this location especially for the Fall Festival. I only have 1 photo of the stay but it is a good one.

WE couldn't stay there because they sprayed bug spray and I was only inside 10 minuyes and could not breathe been short of breathe every since that happened. we should get our money back for not staying there.

Weekday Getaway

My husband and I along with our newborn recently stayed at chads place. We stayed for two nights and had an amaziing time spending a few days away from home. The cottage had everything you would need and more. Perfect location to downtown Bedford and Shawnee state park. My husband and I loved fishing right on the property and relaxing at the campfire at night! We can’t wait to plan our next trip and be able to utilize the bikes and kayaks! Chads cottage has everything you need. We literally could have packed a few pairs of clothes and that’s all we would have needed to bring with us. They provided the rest! The attention to detail and communication was above and beyond what we expected! I would give this 6 stars if I could! We look forward to returning this fall with the whole family!
