The smell of the ocean and soothing sounds of the waves create the perfect getaway, one block from the gulf and one block from the lagoon. This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom half of a duplex house with private balcony’s and space to relax. You have space under the house for private bbq’s and outdoor shower to rinse off the beach sand. Bring your jet ski's, park under the unit and launch right around the corner.

Perfect for our family. Close enough to the beach that we were able to walk with small children. Great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Gulf Shores, but close enough that it’s a quick car ride away. Would stay at again!

House was in the perfect spot. One block away from the beach. Less traffic and a short walk to the other small beach area off from the ocean. Perfect spot to take a toddler swimming or to play.

Summer vacation

I really enjoyed staying here. It was quiet and had plenty of room. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning drinking coffee. Would definitely stay again!

The place is cute, it's smaller than what was expected but it worked. When we arrived the air was on 77, so it was already hot in there.. I didn't realize that the house is small and tight, 2 floors but very limited space. The upstairs is hot! The air should be turned down to 70 before guest arrive, imo, to allow time for it to cool and be comfortable. Only One vent in the room up there and of course heat rises, so it stayed hot. Owner should really think about another unit up top, or invest in more fans for the guests. Also the bottom floor, you hear every movement from up top, squeaky squeaky, so if you have kids or teens that stay up, beware if you sleep on the first floor, you are going to hear every move they make (Same next door)small thing -There was no Tupperware, so be sure to bring your own!!! The bottom level bed is also hard as a rock- no give - not much of a mattress. The walk to the beach is a bit longer than a condo walk, so make sure to bring carts to get your stuff to the beach. The bikes were great, we enjoyed a couple bike rides, and the patio was nice! It's just a very tight squeeze for 7/8 people,if I'm honest..we still had a great vacation, but these are things I recommend working on to make it more enjoyable. Would be also nice if the couch made a bed, I think we would have rather slept on the couch downstairs instead of that top bunk upstairs, its just way to hot! Overall we had a great vacation,but I won't stay here again. I give it an 6/7 out of 10..

We're sorry the upstairs temperature wasn't as comfortable as you expected upon arrival. We typically set the thermostat to an energy-saving temperature after guests check out, but we'll review our arrival procedures to ensure the home is cooled down well before future check-ins. We'll also look into adding additional fans upstairs to improve comfort during the warmer summer months. We appreciate your comments regarding the mattress, kitchen storage containers, and the home's layout. Our listing includes the home's square footage, but we understand that photos don't always convey how a space feels in person. We'll certainly consider your suggestions as we continue making improvements. Regarding the walk to the beach, we're happy you were able to enjoy the complimentary bikes, and have make carts available but with wear and tear difficult to maintain in a safe manner but will suggest guests bring or rent a beach cart for carrying chairs, coolers, and other gear since we're approximately one block from the Gulf. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us and for providing thoughtful suggestions. Guest feedback helps us continue improving the experience for future visitors, and we wish you and your family all the best on your future travels.

Just as advertised!

A great place for our weeklong celebration of our youngest graduating from high school. Exactly what she and her friends wanted: plenty of room, quiet, easy beach access, close enough to all the fun but far away enough to not be congested and loud.

Can’t wait to come back.

The property is clean, spacious, well laid out, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. It’s located in an incredibly quiet area. The bikes & chairs are a nice touch. Also loved the balcony. We had the best time.

It was a great condo!! Plenty of space for our family of 5 and dog. Kitchen was well stocked. The condo seemed recurrent- nice appliances in the kitchen. We loved the front porch. Best part of our trip was drinking coffee with kids still sleeping and listening to waves crash on the beach. Only drawbacks - the living room couch - not super comfy. The master bedroom mattress was not the best - somewhat hard/uncomfortable. And the kids bunk beds seemed to be put together quickly- some nails were popping through. Overall it was great trip! Host was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location and the condo had all the amenities we needed. The check in process was a breeze and the communication with the host was excellent! Loved riding the bikes. We will definitely be back!

We are from the northeast and have been searching for a piece of paradise for years. Finally found it in the Gulf Shores. We have been traveling the world @nd wanted to find a place we could enjoy and also share with others.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Gulf Shores has everything we were looking for and realize it is very similar to many other people. We love the proximity to the beach (1 block) where we have direct public beach access, there is a grocery store, bars and restaurants within walking distance and plenty more you could bike to. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets are ones you can usually find in magazines. The lagoon is a block away and very calm for kayaking. There is golfing in the area, amusements parks, fishing, sunset cruise charters, the list goes on and on.
