The space
This gorgeous, sprawling house is a fusion of mediterranean and balinese-modern architecture. Overlooking the Santa Barbara Riviera with partial views of both the ocean and mountains. Just 10 minutes from Montecito, and 7 minutes to the Santa Barbara Mission.

This 3500 sq ft house was re-built in 2011 on 2 acres. There are four bedrooms: a luxurious primary suite with king bed, two queen bedrooms with en-suite baths, and a full bed in the guest room, with detached full bath. The king and queen rooms have exterior french doors leading to the pool area.

The ceilings are vaulted and the feeling is spacious and connected to nature. Oiled walnut floors. Reclaimed Teak cabinets and poured concrete counters. A lot of custom stone and tile. Bohemian Buddha decor.

3,000 sq ft patio on ocean view side of the house, with pool, spa, grill, and ample lounges, seating and dining. Outdoor shower and bathroom.

Flat-screen TVs in the queen bedrooms, TV in the living room with AppleTV that has Netflix and other apps. (No TV in the primary or full-sized bedroom. No Cable TV but you can subscribe with Cox for the month you are there if need be)

KITCHEN- Great for cooks! Professional kitchen with Viking range, ovens and fridge. Vitamix, Cuisinart food processor, citrus. A chef lives here so you will have whatever you need. Walk in pantry. Loads of horizontal space to prep. 2 Miele dishwashers, 2 sinks.

House and yard are not child-proofed. You assume full responsibility for child safety inside and out of the house.
Other things to note
There is no AC. When it is hot you can open the windows (screened) and cool the house at night and then close them in the day- it is so well-insulated with double-pane windows that it stays comfortable inside.
House is well-suited to indoor/outdoor living- few insects.

There is however a toaster oven and a slice toaster and a baby oven as well as a big oven.

Indoor houseplants need to be watered every week or so so someone may come by to water- will communicate with you via text to arrange convenient time. On Tuesdays the pool guy will come and service the pool and spa.
