A Peaceful Mountain Retreat - Gateway to Sequoia NP in Beautiful Three Rivers

Welcome to Three Rivers Mountain House! Located minutes from the shops and restaurants of Three Rivers, and just 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, we are proud to share our newly renovated mountain home with you.

Whether you want to relax with friends and family, make this your home base for outdoor adventures, work remotely, or just connect back with nature, we are sure you will enjoy our bright and airy mountain retreat.

**We are completing our first successful year of operation on another platform, and are excited to make our debut on VRBO!**

The Space:
This thoughtfully designed 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house features great natural light and beautiful views. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils for all your cooking and baking needs. Internet is fast and responsive for streaming or working remotely. Our property affords solitude and space. Guests can access the entire house and relax in the landscaped areas, enclosed with new ranch fencing.

Wifi and Entertainment: we have an eero Pro 6 mesh Wifi system with 30Mbps of bandwidth for some of the fastest streaming you can get in the mountains. A TV in the living room has a Roku-Express, which you can use in guest mode to access all your pre-existing streaming service accounts. A Klipsch bluetooth speaker is available in the living room to play music from your favorite devices.

Games: Various games are provided inside and out for your enjoyment!

Bedding and Towels: We have all cotton sheets and plush cotton towels. Please note the bedding shown in our photos was provided by the interior designer as part of the renovation and has been replaced with all white cotton bedding, including comfy and cool percale sheets, for our guests.

Water: all Three Rivers water is well water. While we have a dedicated well for the house, please don't expect city pressures. We have Culligan water softening for the entire house, and a reverse osmosis system in the kitchen for drinking water, refrigerator water and ice.

EV Charging: A Level 2 electric vehicle charging station is mounted in the driveway for guest use. You can search the specs for the "Grizzl-E Classic". While it is widely compatible, you may need to bring an adapter to connect to your specific make/model.

Wildlife: Three Rivers is a rural community surrounded by WILDERNESS. While we have regular pest control and a fenced-in yard, wild animals do roam freely. Venturing to and around the property carries inherent risk of exposure to wild animals, pests, and natural nuisances, including, but not limited to, snakes, bears, bobcats, mosquitoes, ticks, mice, and poison oak. USE CAUTION, especially when venturing outdoors. We cannot be held responsible for risks of the natural environment.

Trash: Bears are active in the environment and enjoy rummaging through human trash. Please control all waste in the house or secured trash bin.

We were very pleased with the Peaceful Mountain Retreat. It has been very nicely updated, was very clean, and had well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. The yard was beautiful and the location was about as good as you're going to get in proximity to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.

Wow! This house is a favorite of all the many places we have stayed. It is IMMACULATE, roomy, and very comfortable. The decor, beds, and amenities are outstanding! The house is clean and most area are in great condition. But there are few things can be improved. The whole Three River area is poor on data signal and the house is quite remote so we didn’t have any data to access VRBO app thus I couldn’t even get the door access code when arrived. I contacted host before and we’re hoping to have access code a day before but we were told to wait till check-in day. We ended up drove out to the big street and stopped by several restaurants to beg for wifi and finally get one to help give us wifi access. I think this can be easily improved from host. Another minor thing is the oven is not being cleaned so there was left over food and dirty baking plate inside. There is no dish wash sponge or mob in kitchen area but after we contacted host, they delivered quickly. One unlucky thing was about last minute notice for power outage which we had to rush get everything done before outage and the outgage went beyond the planned hours so we had to leave early since no water and no electricity. I would suggest if the area has outage often, please consider a backup power to at least supply water. Other than these, we still enjoy our stay in the house.

Beautiful property. Very Clean. Extremely close to park entrance for Sequoia and very fair price for the quality of the house. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the house!One thing that we found different compared to previous vacation properties through Vrbo and Air B and B was that we had to reach out for any literature/instructions related to the property. For example, no documents/manuals in the house regarding anything there (i.e. wifi, appliances, nearby amenities). We've always found a handbook in every place we've stayed or they send a .pdf manual with loads of info. Would have been great to have received that in advance of our stay. We also had to reach out to ask for the passcode for the door a few hours before our stay and typically, the property owner reaches out a day or 2 before to connect and provide details.All in all, a very nice spot - beautiful, clean and very convenient as a jump off spot to Sequoia and King's Canyon.

whoops

Property was great. However, getting more than 1 email about checking in caused some problems. I did not open one email completely as it had the code to get in so I missed getting it..When you send the itinerary it would have been greatly helpful to include the entrance code. Fortunately, the cleaners were still there and let us in. Otherwise, everything was as advertised. House was 5 stars.

Cozy

This location was perfect for the 6 of us. Much easier to relax and hang out together than a hotel. We made use of the kitchen, grill and games that were available. It was easy to find. Landscaping was beautiful. We even got to see some wildlife. Property was as pictured. Only have 2 suggestions. More spice options would be good. The other is more of a personal preference…if you get the chance, king beds would be great. If we make it back to the area, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Three Rivers!

We chose this home in Three Rivers for our Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP visit. It was in a wonderful and very peaceful location with close access to the park! The home itself was super comfortable for our family! It had been nicely remodeled and was accurately described. We throughly enjoyed our short stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Great for families

Great option for families close to the park entrance. Very nice property that is well kept and great fenced in yard. We stayed in three rivers for a wedding nearby and this location was close to the town coffee shop and restaurant. It’s not walkable but a short 5 min drive. Also great horseback riding option down the street with Wood N Horse stables that was a great riding lesson activity for our kids. Love this place would definitely stay again!

Visit to Sequoia National Park

This property is in a great spot for visiting Sequoia National Park, while also leaving room to explore the rest of the area. The house was clean and had plenty of space for the four of us.

Great vacations

The place where we stayed is wonderful, the house has everything you need, very easy to get to, clean and close to everything, we only stayed a few days but we should have stayed more days.We would definitely come back to this place as soon as we can.

Sequoia Getaway - Wonderful Stay!

Our time at Sequoia Getaway was fantastic! The property was beautiful, clean, and just as described in the listing. We had a small hiccup with check-in, but it was completely my fault (user error!) and the host was incredibly understanding and quick to help us out. Once we got settled in, everything was perfect. The location was serene and ideal for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Just 5 minutes from town but offers the peace and quiet that you are looking for when traveling to the mountains. Sit on the front porch and listen to the sounds of the river. The home is surrounded by beautiful native plants including beautiful granite boulders with water that trickles from the ditch through the backyard making it the perfect place for peace and tranquility while relaxing with friends and family.
